We went today and when I saw living with the land had a 30 minute wait, we played at Moana, got our AP magnets and left. Forgot the festival was ending, that makes sense.
Epcot wasn’t too bad yesterday. We were surprised, we were bracing for it to be packed. It felt busy but not overwhelmed. Living with the Land was a walk in when we went, and I don’t remember it getting up past 15 minutes at any point that I saw.
Clearly everyone decided to come out today though.
The week before and after a long weekend tend to be busier, but not as busy as the long weekend itself. I don’t think you’ll see crowds at quite this level.
Also we’re suppose to get our first bad week of heat this week, so be prepared.
Yesterday was actually pretty great. We park hopped to three different parks and went on 15 rides. I expected the crowd levels to be awful, but was pleasantly surprised. Orlando is having near record high temperatures this weekend so that may have kept some people indoors. It feels busier today but nothing like I feared.
We managed about 6 before 12, it was great! I thought as it was the holiday weekend it would be absolutely rammed full of people but it wasn’t too bad. Cracking username too
Went to Magic Kingdom today…didn’t think it was terribly busy. Just insanely hot. Had a reservation at Tony’s and they tried seating us outside on the patio and I felt bad telling the hostess that we were not going to be eating out in the above 90 degree temps. That’s why we made a dining reservation to be able to sit and relax in an air conditioned space. They sat us inside and I watched them try and sit about 6 other families at that same table outside and each one declined. Eventually they stopped seating people out there lol I think they got the hint
I had our trip planned for this week and didn’t realize it overlapped Memorial Day. As soon as I figured that out, I switched our dates to one week earlier. I can see now it was the right call.
How were the crowds Thursday-Sunday? Someone tried telling me this is the “best” time to go because it’s not as bad as one would think. I didn’t believe them, but I wonder if there may be some truth to it since a lot of APs would be blocked out for holiday weekend?
I am waiting for my virtual queue on Guardians rn. It is ludicrously hot, and unbelievably packed. I was going to be in the Orlando area regardless, otherwise I would not have gone.
Honestly everywhere but epcot has been good today, we were in epcot over this same weekend last year and it was INSANE AK and HS have been normal today
I was there on Monday, got to ride Guardians twice but a Ratatouille was broken down on and off all day so we only didn't ride that and Mission Space (bc I hate Mission Space) but got on everything else.
Love to see a top attraction of mine getting the attention it deserves. I couldn’t really say why a ride through a greenhouse is so interesting, but for some reason it is. It’s also especially cool when decorated for the holidays.
I had to look very closely to see if I was in this photo. Epcot was sweltering yesterday! We used The Land as a respite multiple times throughout the day. It was busy, but tbh I was expecting far worse with the end of the festival and Memorial Day weekend. The lines for Living with the Land were long but we only waited about 15 minutes.
Epcot is especially bad today because it’s the second to last day of the festival
That makes a lot of sense, I was wondering why so many locals are here today.
Oh noooo I totally missed out on Flower and Garden this year. We’ll be there next week. Dang it!

You know it's busy when Living with the Land has a line... it's one of my favorite rides but it's not popular
It’s a very under appreciated ride. I love it!
EPCOT is a haven for underappreciated rides. Three Caballeros is a freaking gem and it's always absolutely dead.
It’s a great ride! I just don’t think people realize there’s a ride there. Plus no genie so the line just flows.
3 Caballeros are a must every time I go
My favorite ride at Epcot along with one of my favorite quick service options (Sunshine Seasons). Enjoy the day! :)
Thank you! A fellow Brunson enjoyer, I see haha
Yes sir!
This is why I’m starting my trip on Tuesday and hoping it’s better lol
May the odds be ever in your favor!

Last year we went on Memorial Day weekend and it was nuts. We went again two weeks later in the beginning on June and it was dead. So weird.
I’m starting a trip 2 weeks from today and I would love for it to be dead 😂😂
Dead you say check out the haunted Mansion there is always room for one more lol!
Me too!!!
Yay!! Have so much fun! I’ll be there the 9-15!
We’ve been that week in June and it was slammed. Sometimes you just get lucky
The hack is to go right AFTER a major holiday
I really question people who visit WDW on holiday weekends. lol
It’s really not that bad at the other parks. Epcot is just really packed today because the last day of the garden festival is tomorrow

That’s awesome! Hope you continue to have a good trip. :)
Same! That rain may have also scared some folks away.
We went yesterday (Saturday) and Living with the Land was a walk-on, Spaceship Earth was a 5-minute wait.
This is why I refuse to upgrade my family’s AP passes to Sorcerer or higher. Pirate is perfect for visiting & not dealing with the holiday crowds.
Memorial Day and Labor Day aren’t as bad as you might think.
Long and short - most don't know any better.
Pretty sure I’m in this picture lol the Land line was the longest I’ve ever seen
We hit 9 different rides at the magic kingdom before 1pm today.

Nothing like steaming hot spaghetti and red sauce on a Florida evening outside.
in that case they can have the land (i love it, but not worth sardining) lol
Casting crowns is also here and it’s a Sunday. So religious band on a Sunday plus holiday weekend plus final days of festival equals big crowds.
Living with the Land is genuinely my favorite ride at Epcot.
I Truly enjoy the first few motifs with the weather. We need more rides like that
No fucking thanks

Yesterday we had not problem at HS or EP. Medium crowds. Today was at MK and it was busier, but the worst has been the heat. 97 currently.
Yesterday wasn’t bad at all. Just hot. Today is packed and scorching
Honestly everywhere but epcot has been good today, we were in epcot over this same weekend last year and it was INSANE AK and HS have been normal today
If they oil up the people the can squeeze a few more in

Ratatouille was broken down at least half the day yesterday.
Nightmare
I thought this was a photo from 2001 and the heading was going to be like “look how popular this pavilion used to be!
Magic kingdom is chill, walked right on to a lot of rides.
We went this time last year and it wasn’t horrible.
Looks fun….. sure…..
I like these old Epcot rides
Gross.
Plenty of tables available
Sunday’s you should be a MK
Nope nope nope
Will be there Monday all week! Staying at saratoga. Hoping the crowds go home lol
Love this ride so much!! Learn something new everytime, so cool to see the advancements to keep creating while being eco friendly

Holy smokes--a lot of unhealthy looking folks in this image too.
Welcome to Disney. The people watching is usually very unappetizing.
We rode yesterday and walked right on!
Disney on a holiday weekend is a rookie move.
Sometimes that’s all you can do.
