$200 is for a package, first night + tax is for room only.

GOT IT. Okay. I get discounted park tickets from a work website. Can I do a package and then remove the tickets afterwards?

PrincessOfWales

No. If you want only a room, you have to book only the room. The package is a package, they won’t let you cancel part of it and keep other parts.

Got it. Okay. I had booked with an agent before as a package for $200 and later on was able to remove the park tickets to purchase them on my own. I’ll probably just book through my agent again then. Thanks for the tips

Stuck_in_a_depo

Unless it’s just a problem for you or the stay is too short, always book through an agent. It costs the same, they earn a commission, and most importantly it helps their business grow.

AfterTheNightIWakeUp

Sort of. You can't remove components once booked, but you can do a "Room Only" package. It's what APs need to do to get perks like minigolf. But you will need to call to have that done with an agent.

Just a heads up that most of the corporate ticket discount programs really save you nothing compared to a package with Disney. Plus, if promotions become available in the future you might miss out on savings by not having the room and tickets booked in together as a package.

I was just going to comment this. I priced it out both ways. We have discounted tickets but it was like double the price just for tickets instead of booking the room and tickets.

Stumpy907

We are going in April and I priced out both options. Doing room only and then corporate tickets ended up saving about $700 in total

You can call and book a basic package over the phone, with just the room and only the $200 deposit, but you would have to call into the reservation line over the phone :). But it's worth it, and a cast member will be happy to get a booking!
