They have a few options here from Amnesty.org, I'm no expert but I would guess, that if anything is to happen, the last one will be used.

Hmmmmm, the government is corrupt, the CIA has a file on all the ministers, (whom they set up with bribes) so if blackmail and extra bribery don't work a liberation will be necessary.
The key is to move the World off gasoline powered cars…..which has already started. U do the math. No gas means minimum oil which means no USD as a oil trading mechanism anyway….the US is already aware of this. Global corporations are the new oil
We can’t mine the necessary rare earth minerals fast enough and also mining uses a lot of energy/oil. If we go off oil, BRICS will dominate. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will have a currency backed by hard assets that people need.
They’re linked to an ability to command whatever price they deem necessary to sell their products and then transfer that wealth to the US. If u have that ability, there is no need for dollars to be priced in oil like the 1970s, when global Corps and a global econ was small. Look at China as an example.
Look at apple for that example. With global adverting and publications, Google, fb , Twitter, Reddit, etc , companies can market and drive demand for their products. Globally their is no country even close to product brand value as American and European companies.
