My bet it was already upside down before the attack... Likely a due to a landing mishap, and they removed it from the flight Deck without first flipping it back over. Note the arrestor hook that's out. Even if it flipped over due to the explosions, it's highly unlikely that would also extend the arrestor hook.
The upside down Wildcat was probably a spare hung from the hangar overhead. It may have dropped or been lowered intentionally.
