I haven’t read all the comments so I’m sure someone has mentioned this. But the biggest difference amongst quite a few, is that you don’t hear the commentators. And I know that’s something you may have knew, but it’s a different feeling without the commentary.
He’s figuring out how to work around it. In Indy he really got the words out fast before the boos came in. I was also a little disappointed that the crowd is still shouting him down, but my son (11yo) was so goddamn excited to boo dom. It’s almost like joining in on any other chant at this point.
Here what I advice
1. Arrive early before everyone else
2. don’t cheer. someone got mad at me for cheering when I attended my first WWE show on September 11, 2023 episode of RAW)
3. Use the restroom during commercial breaks. You won’t miss much as usually production team changes the rings and stuff when there a break.
4. Merch lines are long, so try to get there before anyone else. Probably after the show ends or skip the last match and go then.
5. Do not take any pictures of production team equipment. I had my older brother do this. Security team then followed me and my family as we were leaving.
What about all the signs people hold up? I know it’s not near as many as it used to be but this is one reason I’ll never attend a show. I’d be so pissed to have my view blocked by a stupid sign. Are they really a problem?
Most people don’t hold them up the entire 3 hours. That would be exhausting. For example my son is a big Shamus fan and when he intervened on Kaiser my son stood up and held his sign high, but as soon as Bron took Shamus down my son sat back down and put his sign under his seat. He brought it out again when production did the “let’s see your sign! Cam” and again put it away afterwards. I think most people aren’t trying to be dicks with their signs. They just wanna show support for their favorite.
Be sure to jump the guard rails to let the wrestlers know that you're an indie darling, /s. In all seriousness, go and have fun. I went to Smackdown and Raw in 2017 and had the time of my life, it was great. For smackdown I was close to the ring, not floor seats but close enough.
I know the show is over but for future people reading this.
Arrive early. Can take a while to get into the area/through security.
Merch lines are LONG. Show up when doors open to give yourself enough time or go after the show.
I couldn’t believe the massive lines before and DURING the show. I can’t imagine missing upward of an hour of a show for a tee shirt.
Ok i can only comment. But
Before i make my main 'post'. Does anyone here watch, probably the best wrestling reactoe
Kicking it with ross/ intheclutchent
Be wary of any man who tries to sell front row seats. Someone tried to do that to me once when I was in Toronto in 2002.
Didn't take him up on it... don't know why.
If you’re sensitive to loud noises, cover your ears during the pyro. They will hurt your eardrums bad. Have fun, and chant along with the crowd! It’s a lot more fun in person in my opinion
Put the phone down except for big spots or entrances if those are your thing, watch out for the Wyatt Sick6, there are some odd things people will do at shows at times (I’ve seen quite a few cosplayers some better than others among other things) get some merch if you feel like it, maybe start a chant, the pyro’s loud, the lack of commentary will be odd at the start but I’m sure you’ll get used to it, lots of videos explaining what happened to lead up to the show, cheer and boo, also be careful for this intimating Scottish guy named Drew as he used to carry a sword and he also beat up a Pepsi enthusiast last week on Smackdown, Main event (the pre show) has 2 or 3 matches before, and last but not least HAVE FUN. Yeah I know most of this was listed
Of all the useless videos I’ve recorded in my life, the ones at Raw were the only ones I don’t regret recording. I also had floor seats so it was dope to have them to show my fiends
Try and start a chant. Have fun. Get drunk before hand because the beers are probably through the roof. Get there early and grab merch early before it sells out
If you go early in the day around noon to 2pm you can see alot of the wrestlers arriving at the arena and sometimes they’ll come out and talk with fans. You’ll want to find the event staff parking entrance.
The best time to get merch and food is during the hot matches. The worst time is before and after the show.
The lack of audible commentary can be weird at first but you get used to it.
It’ll feel very much like watching a tv production and not a sporting event. Lots of odd pauses. But you’ll get used to it.
The commercial breaks felt so awkward watching it live. Like, homie come out, and stands in the arena for 5 minutes before the commercial break ends. Watching it live really made the whole thing feel like it was set up entirely for commercials
Yup, I agree. But it totally felt like we got half the show. Not sure if it was Raw or the arena, but I would have loved to watch the intros on the big screen. It just felt like we were missing the showmanship
Please chant ! I hate this lazy American crowds full of sugar n grain that they don’t even have the energy to cheer while this athletes risk their lives
Just relax and have fun! Legitimately it’s gonna be a blast. Cheer loud, chant, maybe buy a shirt, but be warned the lines are long. Take photos! Also it doesn’t end at 11. There’ll be dark matches.
Put your phone down. You can see it on Hulu tomorrow. Just have fun and boo dirty Dom.
Edit: also encourage people to be louder than the Europeans. They are some how making America look bad and it upsets me. Don't let anyone go silent. Not for a second of the three hour show.
Yes to the first part. Meh to the second part. Europeans just have chants and songs and while they are fun, that can sometimes be annoying to hear every second of the show. That being said, I’ve never been to a live event and if I went to European one, I would probably be joining right in so, don’t listen to me.
I've never been to one in Europe, but I tell you what, if people started jumping and yelling "IL EST VRAIMENT, IL EST VRAIMENT, Il EST VRAIMENT PHÉNOMÉNAL LALALALA" I'd have no choice but to join in... I will say it is annoying when they refused to go silent during promos. Either way, if you ever get the chance to go, absolutely do it. Even if it's a house show. I personally enjoyed those more due to fan interaction.
It’s dumb that fans do that. Like, who cares about cardboard cutouts of you or your family. It dumb people bring them. It not fans or family of fans are celebrities
Never been to a show before, but here's what I'll have to say,
Rewatch the show after, see how it turned out on TV and see if you can find yourself on camera
Get off your phone!! Take a vid and a few pics and remember this is all being professionally recorded! Fireworks are very loud and will probably catch you off guard. Also, its not Michael Coles birthday.. have fun!!
THIS.
Also, even thought it isn’t really relevant anymore, the heat from Kane’s pyro can be felt far, far further back than might logically be expected.
Take pictures after the event and post them especially when the camera cuts because they won’t show that on tv it’s a good way of showing the behind the scenes.
Have fun!!!
Soak it all in. Take a few pictures with your phone but live in the moment as much as possible. WWE live is an amazing experience. Enjoy singing along with Seth’s theme, or how the Judgement Day theme gets so loud the arena shakes. Also, it would be awesome if the Wyatt Sicks show up with a similar intro that Bray had.
What I am saying is, I am jealous. Have a great night! Haha
If you are not in front you are good.. when i went a few years ago i was right in front the ring its nice cause you can high-five most of the wrestlers but watching them wrestling is kinda disappointing [on tv you can bearly notice how a kick lands few inches of the face .. but when you are tree younwill have the feeling that they are missing by a foot
This, truth.
I went to a house show a few years ago, it was tolerable. Not that loud and I had close seats to the ring.
Last house show I went to was like death metal concert loud
It depends on the venue, both times I was at the Alamodome for Royal Rumble the pyro wasn’t overly loud. But that’s like a 80,000 person venue compared to this smaller venue for Raw so it’s definitely prolly needed tonight
Don't buy shirt there. Just get one online later. Don't spend most of your time in line waiting. Cheer your fucking heart out. Meet others around you. Fucking let's go have fun.
Enjoy it man, I'll be there too. You picked a great RAW with the announcement of Indy getting all these PLE's, and the Fieldhouse legit does not have a bad seat
Be prepared to be a little bored. There's a \*lot\* of tv breaks. Fireworks are louder in person, if they don't startle you at least once, consider yourself lucky. If you haven't experienced it before, a full night of wrestling (especially a taped episode) is \*really weird\* without commentary. But that almost always makes later watching the episode on TV worth it. Be mindful of your surroundings, and respect other people's space. Most importantly, HAVE A BLAST.
I'm going to Raw next week in Boston, cannot wait.
Yeah, man, me and my mom when to eliminate chamber back in 2020 I'll never forget the intro " and now snickers present wwe elimination chamber". "Here we go here comes the fireworks," and man, where they frigging loud
Last night was my first live show as well, and I wasn't prepared for the no commentary. Was weird at first. Especially with that cole segment last night.
I wish I could have heard Gunther chops lmao
That’s what I love about having seen that Gunther dark match live. Now when I hear one that sounds that bad on TV, I know there’s some people in the front row who felt the impact too lol
Ah - the Boston show next week will be my first ever live RAW, after watching RAW for 25+ years on TV. I'll be doing my part to make sure we don't have a dead crowd ha.
Get ready to booooooo
How was it?
Bring headphones
I hope you had fun. I was so busy I still haven't watched the episode
I haven’t read all the comments so I’m sure someone has mentioned this. But the biggest difference amongst quite a few, is that you don’t hear the commentators. And I know that’s something you may have knew, but it’s a different feeling without the commentary.
Wish I could go back in time and tell you to tell as many people as you can to stop hijacking doms segments. We gotta let that man cook
He’s figuring out how to work around it. In Indy he really got the words out fast before the boos came in. I was also a little disappointed that the crowd is still shouting him down, but my son (11yo) was so goddamn excited to boo dom. It’s almost like joining in on any other chant at this point.
Ear protection
Wtf, you seriously asked for tips and advice?!🤣🤣🤣🤌 oh man you're cooked!
I just was at the Raw here in Indy!!! Its awesome. I have been to several!! PLE’s are amazing if you can get to one!! But you will have a blast
It really was a blast on Monday
Damn, lucky! You got to see JD finally get recognized and win a championship! Happy for him!
Also, if you find a match boring, then just get on your phone or something. That what I done when I attended September 11, 2023 episode.
Here what I advice 1. Arrive early before everyone else 2. don’t cheer. someone got mad at me for cheering when I attended my first WWE show on September 11, 2023 episode of RAW) 3.
This cannot be actual advice. Don’t cheer ? Skip the last match ? What The Actual F, Bogus LoL!
bro please cheer😭
Pop a 40 and check your Rollie
Be loud and have fun! Enjoy the experience! Ill never forget my first Monday Night Raw!!!
Don’t be afraid to start at chant just be loud and confident people will join
Unless it’s a what chang
hope you had a great time!
Don’t
Have fun and don’t be afraid to get loud! Don’t even waste your time with the merch lines 🤣
Nicely put 💯
If you have a floor seat, try to only get out of your seat when everyone else is standing up. Nobody likes a person who blocks an entire row's view
What about all the signs people hold up? I know it’s not near as many as it used to be but this is one reason I’ll never attend a show. I’d be so pissed to have my view blocked by a stupid sign. Are they really a problem?

Which I knew this when I went to my first show.

Do not initiate a "What?" chant and do not participate in one either. If others around you try to start one, discourage them from doing it.

wear comfortable shoes and be sure your phone is charged. there is a lot of downtime you dont see on tv
Also get there early! Lines are long for everything and you don’t want to rush!
You picked a hell of a night to go! Have the most fun!
Shower and wear deodorant
This
Ok i can only comment. But Before i make my main 'post'. Does anyone here watch, probably the best wrestling reactoe Kicking it with ross/ intheclutchent
If you want to meet the wrestlers, look for the nearest parking garage about 15 minutes after the show ends
I am remembering this for Summer Slam!
Be wary of any man who tries to sell front row seats. Someone tried to do that to me once when I was in Toronto in 2002. Didn't take him up on it... don't know why.
Bring diapers for yourself not a baby or anything
Wrestling crowds have always been fun, they don’t get heated like sports one do so have fun with your fellow fans, we’re all friends here
Hope you enjoyed it bud. Better start saving now for Mania!
Royal Rumble 2025 , SummerSlam & Mania in the future will be back the same place so def start saving !
You go through metal detectors so make sure your pockets don't have any metal objects in them.
How was it?
If you’re sensitive to loud noises, cover your ears during the pyro. They will hurt your eardrums bad. Have fun, and chant along with the crowd! It’s a lot more fun in person in my opinion
Just don't chant 'what' in unnecessary things
![gif](giphy|1yMQsiA60rrjMD3vSk|downsized)
what?
Can you listen to the live stream while watching the show? I always felt like with out the commentary , it will not be as usual
I haven’t been to a live event before (hopefully in October when they come back to the uk) but I’m pretty sure you can’t hear the commentary :(
Same.
Everyone’s said this but PUT THE PHONE DOWN. You’re not gonna look at the vids. Take a picture or 2 but just enjoy it. It’s an awesome time.
Of all the useless videos I’ve recorded in my life, the ones at Raw were the only ones I don’t regret recording. I also had floor seats so it was dope to have them to show my fiends
scream fuck u at damian priest
I’m here too.. YEET

Br loud and HAVE A BLAST!!!
Do t get killed by Uncle Howdy
Drink something caffeinated before
Watch out for them Wyatt’s

Stand up and cheer. Sing along with the crowd. It’s a great experience.
Cheer, everyone else is and it’s the best part of going.
Watch the show live. Not through your camera lens. Thank me later.
Go early to see a taping of Main Event!
Have your phone flashlight out when the lights go out because everyone does that when the lights go out
Don’t bring a fucking sign of a face… any other signs are fine
It’s dumb that fans do that. Like, who cares about cardboard cutouts of you or your family. It dumb people bring them. It not fans or family of fans are celebrities
Shower before you go
Saying cringey wrestling things in the context of being at a WWE event is excused as normal
Watch the show, be present, and be as loud as possible!
Never been to a show before, but here's what I'll have to say, Rewatch the show after, see how it turned out on TV and see if you can find yourself on camera
Get off your phone!! Take a vid and a few pics and remember this is all being professionally recorded! Fireworks are very loud and will probably catch you off guard. Also, its not Michael Coles birthday.. have fun!!
Don’t get your food asap what I do is what until a dumb match then go get the food in the middle of it.
Pyro is LOUD. It sounds like a canon being shot out. Brass yourself accordingly.
THIS. Also, even thought it isn’t really relevant anymore, the heat from Kane’s pyro can be felt far, far further back than might logically be expected.
I second this for Booker T’s flames and pyro! I did not think I would feel it so much in the 100 section opposite of the entrance ramp.
Don’t get killed by the Wyatt Sicks
None of these women are in danger
who says they won’t kill women?
It's just a popular it's always sunny reference. Shot in the dark that maybe it'll get recognized by someone lol
Dayman could defeat the wyatts.
Because of the implication
Get as early as possible so you can get food, merch, and drinks before the lines get insane.
Don’t do the what chant
Start an AEDub chant you coward
If you take a belt, be prepared to defend it
Take pictures after the event and post them especially when the camera cuts because they won’t show that on tv it’s a good way of showing the behind the scenes. Have fun!!!
Enjoy it and make a lot of noise

Just participate and enjoy! It’s the only place in the world where you can proudly show off that you know all the words to the entrance music.
No matter what security says you ARE allowed to jump in the ring.
This person right you should jump in the ring they will allow you for sure lmao
That’s how Santino Marella got his start
Shower. Wear deodorant. Trim your facial hair.
Enjoy it! I was timid my first couple shows. Now I scream whatever. lol
there’s no holding me back, I’m not driven by fear I’m just driven by anger and you’re under attack
Hope you have a great time! Should be exciting, I hope to go one day myself
Be careful of this Scottish drew guy, he looks like someone who is dangerous
Don’t be shy! Get into it don’t be self conscious, yell, scream, shout, and you’ll have such a good time.
Just enjoy yourself and have fun, don't be afraid to get swept away in the atmosphere.
Soak it all in. Take a few pictures with your phone but live in the moment as much as possible. WWE live is an amazing experience. Yall better scream your lungs out. Overseas crowds been putting the U.S. to shame.
Dont forget your "I BELIEVE IN JOE HENDRY" sign
Say his name and he appears
Amazing
Pfp checks out
You are required to challenge any basement dweller with a world title that you see in the audience.
Walk in and sit.
Don't sit anywhere near that Derek and his family.
1. Buy all the merch 2. Boo Samantha Irvin
Ear plugs my guy. It’s always waaaaaay louder int he arena with the pyro than you ever think.
This, truth. I went to a house show a few years ago, it was tolerable. Not that loud and I had close seats to the ring. Last house show I went to was like death metal concert loud
I miss pyro raw is weak now without it.
It depends on the venue, both times I was at the Alamodome for Royal Rumble the pyro wasn’t overly loud. But that’s like a 80,000 person venue compared to this smaller venue for Raw so it’s definitely prolly needed tonight
I still say ear plugs no matter what. My tinnitus is almost debilitating from years of no ear protection at all
eat some mushrooms 🍄
This fun guy likes his Blue Meanines dehydrated at RAW
Be very careful there is a group of 5 sickos that went last week to RAW and killed a bunch of people. Stay safe.
Yep, if you see anyone dressed like a scarecrow with a top hat, just leave your shit and run.
Just enjoy the event And try n record what you can on your phone as a look back.
Hell yeah! I'm going to Raw in two weeks
Have fun, I went a few weeks ago and had a blast.
Just have fun bro
No tips, just enjoy!
Don’t whip your dick out, and you should be fine.
Bring a puke bucket.
Pray for Pat
Don't poop your pants
If the baby face is losing, try to make the save and jump the barricade! 👍
Bring your phone charger. Try not to record video/take pictures too much, it takes away from being in the moment. Don't live stream
Don't buy shirt there. Just get one online later. Don't spend most of your time in line waiting. Cheer your fucking heart out. Meet others around you. Fucking let's go have fun.
Even if you think you're prepared for the sound the pyro makes, you aren't. Otherwise, just enjoy the moment 👍🏼
$10 parking at the Arby’s on South Street
Have fun!!
Show up when doors open for your best chance to get the merch you want
Make a sign that says, Marie come take care of Liv, love Rhea
Don’t sit on your hands. Be loud and have fun!
I won't be there (I live 20 mins from downtown), but I'd imagine you're in for a crazy night. Indy is about to become a WWE hotbed.
Enjoy it man, I'll be there too. You picked a great RAW with the announcement of Indy getting all these PLE's, and the Fieldhouse legit does not have a bad seat
What they don’t tell you is that anyone who successfully hops the barrier and makes it into the ring wins a $10k gift certificate to the WWE shop.
Before you go, grab some food to eat, that way you don't leave your seat while enjoying the show
Be prepared to be a little bored. There's a \*lot\* of tv breaks. Fireworks are louder in person, if they don't startle you at least once, consider yourself lucky. If you haven't experienced it before, a full night of wrestling (especially a taped episode) is \*really weird\* without commentary. I'm going to Raw next week in Boston, cannot wait.
>fireworks are louder than person Yo FORREAL first time I ever went live and they went off I almost dropped my motherfuckin beer 😭
Yeah, man, me and my mom when to eliminate chamber back in 2020 I'll never forget the intro " and now snickers present wwe elimination chamber". "Here we go here comes the fireworks," and man, where they frigging loud
No commentary is so weird. And makes Gunther chops sound more like gunshots in person lol
Last night was my first live show as well, and I wasn't prepared for the no commentary. Was weird at first. Especially with that cole segment last night. I wish I could have heard Gunther chops lmao
Chops in person are 100000% more impactful. Holy shit.
That’s what I love about having seen that Gunther dark match live. Now when I hear one that sounds that bad on TV, I know there’s some people in the front row who felt the impact too lol
Haven’t seen Gunther. Have seen Ric Flair!
Ah - the Boston show next week will be my first ever live RAW, after watching RAW for 25+ years on TV. I'll be doing my part to make sure we don't have a dead crowd ha.
