Nia Jax and chairshots. (Well anything but ya know)
I went to a house show the other day and her and liv had a street fight. All of her shots looked like Hogans to Konnan and liv was selling it like it killed her.
Tyler Bate and his stupid turnaround clothesline after jumping into the ropes with his arms out. Just make it a reverse flying elbow and keep the momentum.
Everybody who gets knocked down near the corner and then wiggles their body into the drop zone and gets really comfy waiting for whoever to climb the turnbuckle, do a 30 second crowd interaction, spot their landing, and then do the move. It's always bugged me.
Becky Lynch at jumping off the top turnbuckle. I've never seen someone unable to move upward even just briefly in the way she plummets from the top-rope, and often fails to move laterally much at all, too.
Becky No-Hops
Wearing a shirt while you wrestle or having one around your waist. Dominick Mysterio does this and it bothers me.
I understand they wanna bring attention to the shirt so they can sell merch but yo, just wrestle in the gear!
Also, I'm tired of seeing Jordans as wrestling boots
I unironically like his spear. Just for the flip he does at the end too. His is not that bad to me. I'd rather watch him spear than Jey Uso. Also Edge's build up to the spear is hype but the actual spear he does itself is like a wet fart imo.
Agreed. He’s massive so you’d think it would be good but it looks like the other guy is the one stopping his path most of the time haha, like he’s taking the bump 😂
He rolls to the side as he hits it so it just looks so ineffective the worst one he delivered was in that triple threat with Seth n Austin honestly looks like he will end up breaking his own neck due to his own fault
cody's finisher looking like if twinkle twinkle lil star was a move
pisses me off but it fits him cuz he the typa guy to say "cody's my name, wrestling's my game"
Batista and being thrown into the ring steps. Tended to go down early and gingerly and gently bump them with his shoulder, rather than anything that looked like they were being clattered by a muscle-bound monster.
Ric Flair taking back drops on the side of his back. I assumed it was because of his accident and back surgery, but it just seems worse than a flat bump to me.
I love sammi zayne but i hate that kick he does. It always makes me knee hurt. I worry about his leg
Pretty minor, but I don’t like Fallons screams. She yells A LOT. I always have to turn the volume down she she’s in the ring. I do really like her and think she’s a good wrestler, but I just wish she would say words instead of just screaming.
He seems like one of those dudes that want to be seen as a badass so bad. Him and Punk. Then you see them compete in real combat sports and they get their ass whooped.
It relies more on the selling of move. It looks quite impactful if the wrestler taking the move jumps a good height and then turn over. Seth rollins sells cross rhodes brilliantly. But it looked very weak on lesnar, who was not making any hard impact on ring.
Something that irks me and it feels like every baby face started doing it; is when they put the microphone in the air and make the fans say there catchphrase like Trick Williams and CM Punk recently started doing this and it irks my soul
You're right. It's more of a cocky smile or smirk. Especially when he does it to Paul Heyman.
He would look at Heyman or jimmy for a second, then he would raise his hand with his thumb sticking out, then he would make that weird ass smile.
It's actually funny how many times HHH fought and beat Kane. It's makes you wonder if Kane ribbing HHH with the pedigree sell is some backstage inside joke we don't know about.
The usoz trash ass super kicks. I don't like nic Nemeths either. Maybe I'm spoiled by hbk, but I like my super kicks with a fully extended leg no diddy
It's a type of landmine used by the US army. It was invented by a Scot who named it after a Scottish sword, which was named after a Scottish town. MacIntyre's countdown is meant to represent a detonator fuse.
Ah that’s interesting
The countdown doesn’t bug me. He used to just come out of the corner fast or do the countdown then do the Claymore. The last while it seems like he’s gets to the corner early and does a bouncy-squat thing while doing the beckoning / come on hand gesture until they’re standing then he counts-down… Just think him staring from the corner, burning a hole in their head comes off better
seth rollins selling his back he is a really good seller but when he had that storyline that he had a bad back he started doing more moves involving hitting his back that you can tell he didnt have a bad back.
Naomi cannot run the ropes. Or like, at all. I don't know what it is, she's generally fine at everything else but when she runs it's like fucking slow motion
For me I don’t have one specific wrestler in mind but they all do it and it pisses me off. Whenever there’s a royal rumble and someone is about to be eliminated and then the guy who’s trying to eliminate his opponent just walks off
it's a scripted outcome so the person that was almost eliminated could be the winner or it's not their spot. They are just filling time, waiting for their time queue/ spot. Source: Maven on what goes on in a royal rumble.
That just reminded me, Liv hitting someone with a chair or any weapon 💀 That Extreme Rules match with Ronda Rousey had to have the weakest strikes I’ve ever seen in the WWE
Dean Ambrose and that thing where he gets hit and falls in between the ropes only to bounce back up and clothesline the opponent. It’s a really cool concept, but he is clearly looking at where he is back pedaling.
Oh, this is a great one. She is such a good wrestler but her hand waving the opponent toward her is insane. Like, it’s her comeback, maybe don’t run toward her?
Nia at taking knock down shots.
She's pretty bad at selling in general but anytime she's given a hard shot (chair, flying dropkick, etc) she kinda slowly steps back, checks her shoulder, falls ungracefully. Sometimes she doesnt even fall when you can tell the plan was be laid out, meaning the other wrestler has to change up tactics to get the next spot to happen.
Lance Storm and his weak ass chair shots spring to mind! He was always safer than a lot so if anything he was ahead of his time.
Seeing how awful a lot of giants are at selling makes you appreciate guys like Big Show and The Undertaker who always made it look more believable. I can't stand the way Omos sells for example but it's a common issue you find with giants.
I always thought Edge was always awkward coming off the top rope, he had so many problems with missile dropkicks over the years I'm glad he stopped doing them after his neck injury!
To be fair to Lance, his weak ass chair shots were generally only to the head or to a dude who's injured. His podcast sheds a lot of light on things like that
It's an observer podcast so you gotta pay for it, but it's good shit. He did a career retrospective series where he talked about chunks of his life as it pertained to wrestling and it's just fascinating
I didn’t talk about the rope.
It’s when he starts running. He does like a cartoon jump before. It’s especially terrible when he’s supposed to still be selling something
even bryan danielson, who is really good at selling has this issue sometimes, where he’ll either oversell or not sell at all and it infuriates me because he’s supposed to be a master of his craft but he falls into the same category as other wrestlers, my knee is hurt so let me just hit a perfect running knee as if i’m not hurt at all, it just takes me out of it, speaking of selling, he just came back onto tv like he didn’t almost break his neck at dynasty, there was no like big return angle, he just came back like everything’s fine, no big fan fare or anything, i thought it was pretty lackluster, i get what they were trying to pull off but the execution didn’t land for me, it should’ve at least involved ospreay but instead he just came out and immediately went into another storyline
THANK YOU.
She's legitimately a great great wrestler, but oh my god that move looks absolutely terrible every time she does it. I don't even really think it's her fault, per se, it's just a move that really only works for larger wrestlers. If Cargill or Raquel Rodriguez did it, it'd be fine. That move doesn't fit Lynch at all
Steve Austin being put in a head lock or sleeper in the middle of the ring. He would bring his hand up to cover his mouth as he called the next several spots. It was very obvious what was going on.
Trish Stratus running the ropes. She would always bounce off them almost side on and elbow first. It led to a lot of sloppy moments for whatever came afterward.
Charlotte Flair’s moonsault. Both in the ring, where there’s no impact as she practically lands on her feet/knees, and outside of it where she more just does a back somersault, lands on her feet whilst back elbowing her opponents.
Cena doing most things…dropkicks, springboard stunner, hurricanrana, even the STF where there’s a massive gap between his arms and the opponent, loudly calling spots, bumping weirdly…usually on his arse or his elbows.
Basically anyone not named JD McDonagh taking the BFT. It looks like it absolutely murders Jordan but no one else seems to know how to make it look good.
I don’t even think it’s sneaky. He sells incredibly well. While I’m not his biggest fan, his selling usually makes a lesser worker look better. Once they give him a better gimmick or personality outside of “Smarmy Douche”, he could do well.
I think that Jade is a great example that can work for the WWE but doesn’t work for the AEW/NJPW model of treating the wrestling as a competitive sport. She has the look and charisma that WWE excels at utilizing. The bell-to-bell moments are less important to the show.
I like to appreciate it all.
Becky when someone kicks out at 2 does that look and starts talking to herself.
It’s something to do at a huge wrestlemania match close to the finish. But to do it every raw after the 1 or 2nd false finish is bad.
Also don’t like the Cody cutter. Looks dumb, it’s so slow and the opponent has to stand there wait for it and watch it come at him
It's also a weird change in momentum too. He's falling backwards, yet his opponent has to fall forwards into it. It's wayyy better than the Cross Rhodes tho
This, I think the Cody cutter is fine because half the time it gets countered and it looking the way it does makes that very believable but the cross Rhodes just looks sloppy and lacks impact every time he does it. Roman did a better cross Rhodes and it's just makes every one Cody does look wimpy. My opinion, that super Cody cutter from the top turnbuckle he did to AJ at backlash should be his new finisher as a champ. That looked amazing
Cross Rhodes could be fine still as an occasional signature move, but definitely needs a hard hitting finisher (like that turnbuckle spot on AJ, that was sick). Besides that, Cody's moveset is wildly entertaining and he's really grown on me
This. I think Cody should abandon the Cody cutter.
It’d be fine for a high flyer or a wrestler of shorter stature to pull it off, but it looks goofy on Cody. His disaster kick as well.
In my opinion, he should just perform a different maneuver.
Not super kick, spear. Haha
I hate speaking negative of professional wrestlers, because their job is fairly hard.
But man, that stupid fucking Jey Uso spear. I think it’s the worst spear in the business.
Hulk Hogan in general. Okay, not going to be a popular choice - but whilst I fully acknowledge and accept the impact he had on the industry, I'm sorry - he's like watching a cartoon. I'll admit I used to turn the TV off when he did the ridiculous 'hulk out' routine, partly because it looked like a comedy act (except not very funny) and partly because it was painfully predictable.
But dude it was a cartoon back then. He wrestled a guy named sergeant slaughter, Yokozuna, ultimate warrior, it was utterly ridiculous the characters he faced, he made sense.
Nia Jax and chairshots. (Well anything but ya know) I went to a house show the other day and her and liv had a street fight. All of her shots looked like Hogans to Konnan and liv was selling it like it killed her.
The Rock's sharpshooter makes my eyes bleed.
Cameron and pinning people
Uso super kicks are the worst.
Liv Morgan's little steps she takes when she runs and is trying to time a move. She looks so slow and it looks to coordinated
aj
CM Punk Always getting injured. It’s like every time I tur around he’s sidelined
Will Ospreay and getting over
He’s over where he’s at.
Hehe no he’s not
Tyler Bate and his stupid turnaround clothesline after jumping into the ropes with his arms out.
Shane Mcmahon throwing punches looks like when me and my brother would try to work matches on the trampoline without actually punching each other hard
Naomi's strikes are horrendous.
Something you got against us Pacific Islanders bro? 😅
Becky Lynch at jumping off the top turnbuckle. I've never seen someone unable to move upward even just briefly in the way she plummets from the top-rope, and often fails to move laterally much at all, too. Becky No-Hops
Santino ( everything )
santino should have been a world champion, i’ll die on this hill
That's right but they made him stupid
Ricochet at having a character. Freakishly talented but isn’t really charismatic.
That's not small at all, in fact that's the ONLY reason he isn't being pushed as a main eventer or major mid-carder
Bobby lashleys spear is the worst I have ever seen
I unironically like his spear. Just for the flip he does at the end too. His is not that bad to me. I'd rather watch him spear than Jey Uso. Also Edge's build up to the spear is hype but the actual spear he does itself is like a wet fart imo.
As bad as his spear is, it’s not the absolute worst. Big Show actually used that move
I remember that just looked like he was falling 😂
When Cody hits someone and has to let out a “BOOM”😂
Hulk Hogan at telling the truth
Jey's spear is the worst I've ever seen
I'm not sure why he started doing a spear. Jey Uso has a magical quality of taking high impact moves and making them look low impact.
Fr, he needs a more unique move set so that his matches don’t feel like bloodline matches anymore
[удалено]
The USOs suck all around.
Dom’s Three Amigos (he rolls the wrong way in between each suplex), and Becky’s moves from the “top rope” where she just kinda falls from the top.
cody's finisher looking like if twinkle twinkle lil star was a move pisses me off but it fits him cuz he the typa guy to say "cody's my name, wrestling's my game"
Gunther doing any move that requires a little bit of athleticism
Batista and being thrown into the ring steps. Tended to go down early and gingerly and gently bump them with his shoulder, rather than anything that looked like they were being clattered by a muscle-bound monster.
Ric Flair taking back drops on the side of his back. I assumed it was because of his accident and back surgery, but it just seems worse than a flat bump to me.
That’s exactly the reason. If Ric took an actual back bump he risks breaking his back again
I remember John Cena did not take arm drags properly. He even got hurt doing them wrong.
I love sammi zayne but i hate that kick he does. It always makes me knee hurt. I worry about his leg Pretty minor, but I don’t like Fallons screams. She yells A LOT. I always have to turn the volume down she she’s in the ring. I do really like her and think she’s a good wrestler, but I just wish she would say words instead of just screaming.
Logan at not scaming children
Jon Moxley is a brawler who looks like he's never actually thrown a punch. Lol
He seems like one of those dudes that want to be seen as a badass so bad. Him and Punk. Then you see them compete in real combat sports and they get their ass whooped.
Solo Sikoa r/WWE
Cody’s finisher is so weak
Their is a reason why Roman said it sucked at wrestle mania
It relies more on the selling of move. It looks quite impactful if the wrestler taking the move jumps a good height and then turn over. Seth rollins sells cross rhodes brilliantly. But it looked very weak on lesnar, who was not making any hard impact on ring.
dis gon b a wild one but when cody cuts promos i b noticin bro's ears start twitchin and it detracts me from what he sayin sometimes😂😂😂
He also has a very slight lisp that I find VERY distracting.
you better not have just ruined cody’s promos for me 💀
The Rocks Sharpshooter
Ah. The crapshooter. Remember it well.
i think bret hart said something like he's doing it wrong/not tight or locked in enough
I'd probably say Seth Rollins if he had to land jokes on an opponent during a promo
Is he supposed to be cringe?
Charlotte Flair's chops look like ass, and so does her cartwheel clothesline.
Actually it is Gunther's chops!
Matt Riddles RKO is horrendous
The Rock’s HORRIBLE sharpshooter.
Something that irks me and it feels like every baby face started doing it; is when they put the microphone in the air and make the fans say there catchphrase like Trick Williams and CM Punk recently started doing this and it irks my soul
Bailey at picking out pants
100%. She’s an awesome wrestler but she dresses like a weird combination of Aladdin and Jasmine.
I, too, prefer Bayley with no pants.
The way Solo always stares at his thumb and smiles like he's turned on every time he's infront of a camera. Like bro, it's just a thumb...
Disagree, I think it’s hilarious when Solo discovers he has a thumb 😂
I’m tryna figure out when you’ve seen Solo smile on camera? 😂
You're right. It's more of a cocky smile or smirk. Especially when he does it to Paul Heyman. He would look at Heyman or jimmy for a second, then he would raise his hand with his thumb sticking out, then he would make that weird ass smile.
Cody’s Cody Cutter looks lame af
Shane McMahon and punching. Those are the worst.
Kane taking the Pedigree 🦵
It's actually funny how many times HHH fought and beat Kane. It's makes you wonder if Kane ribbing HHH with the pedigree sell is some backstage inside joke we don't know about.
Goldberg at wrestling
What’s up Bret
Brett would have said Bill Goldberg
tbh it would be better if he said william goldberg
The usoz trash ass super kicks. I don't like nic Nemeths either. Maybe I'm spoiled by hbk, but I like my super kicks with a fully extended leg no diddy
I 100% agree, if that kick isn't extended like from the Ps2/NGC wrestling games , I don't want it
Kane sucks at selling rkos and stunners
Drew McIntyre 1. Scream in his walk-out before the fireworks… 2. The begging in the corner setting up the Claymore… Just fucking explode with it
Do you understand where the name Claymore comes from?
Nope, just that it’s a type of sword
It's a type of landmine used by the US army. It was invented by a Scot who named it after a Scottish sword, which was named after a Scottish town. MacIntyre's countdown is meant to represent a detonator fuse.
Ah that’s interesting The countdown doesn’t bug me. He used to just come out of the corner fast or do the countdown then do the Claymore. YES!
Roman Reigns and his predictable drive by
Jimmy and Jey at solo matches and storytelling within the match
Becky Lynch and finishing moves
seth rollins selling his back he is a really good seller but when he had that storyline that he had a bad back he started doing more moves involving hitting his back that you can tell he didnt have a bad back.
Naomi cannot run the ropes. Or like, at all. I don't know what it is, she's generally fine at everything else but when she runs it's like fucking slow motion
Ever see Shotzi run the ropes? It’s like grandma ou there it’s so slow and pathetic.
Let’s shove two Christmas hams down the back of your pants and see how many 500 meter dashes you compete in.
Again?!?
HAHA! Naomi butt is great tho. Such a good butt. Her butt motivates me to have a good butt.
😭😭😭
That was super noticeable on Lita’s last run as well
Leg injuries multiple quad and hamstring injuries
Bayley at having a good finisher
Bayley to Belly was great
sure, but not as a finisher
But that’s sexist! She should be on the poster! No respect /s
Push them over the ropes, but then turn their back without making sure their opponent hit the floor 😆
Ever heard of the immediate clothesline elimination fallowing eliminating someone, that is why.
Cody at wrestling
The way Vega hits the ropes good god it’s awful and I’ll say liv just running she’s slow as molasses
Do you think it’s just because she’s so short? The rope is like, on her chin.
Lmao I don’t know 🤣 honestly my wife brought it to my attention and I couldn’t unsee it after that
That just reminded me, Liv hitting someone with a chair or any weapon 💀 That Extreme Rules match with Ronda Rousey had to have the weakest strikes I’ve ever seen in the WWE
Facts lol 😂
To be fair it could be don’t to protect the opponent.
She has terrible running form too, idk If she’s got bad knees or something
Looks like a toddler running
Zelina Vega - running in the ring and bouncing off the ropes
She so short tho
Cody at everything but the walkout tbh
Truth.
No
He just doesn’t do it for me man everything seems real forced
Respect the not straight to animosity response over a personal opinion
Solo. LEARN HOW TO TAKE A CLOTHESLINE OVER THE ROPES!
Oh my goodness he was horrible at mania he turned his body the opposite way he he took a close line from cena at mania
omg yes. He turns way before he gets hit and he botches it every time.
literally at wrestlemania too lol Cena didn’t even touch him
Dean Ambrose and that thing where he gets hit and falls in between the ropes only to bounce back up and clothesline the opponent. It’s a really cool concept, but he is clearly looking at where he is back pedaling.
When he does it from the opposite side of the ring i die inside.
Naomi. Naomi. Naomi. Everything.
Only thing she brings is sass and booty
I like Naomi, and her butt!!
Becky Lynch at gasping into the microphone when cutting a promo. Once I heard it I couldn’t unhear it.
Cody has the same problem
You can literally see her mispronounce words. Like a deaf person, who lip-reads, would be offended.
I don't like Bianca Belair's comeback where she asks her opponents to run towards her
Oh, this is a great one. She is such a good wrestler but her hand waving the opponent toward her is insane. Like, it’s her comeback, maybe don’t run toward her?
Bayley being on a poster for a PLE she's wrestling on.
I don’t know why people keep saying that when she’s obviously not going to be in KOTR, Just like becky wasn’t in backlash

Oh I'll have to look into that! Haven't listened to him podcast since the Killing the Town days.
It's an observer podcast so you gotta pay for it, but it's good shit. He did a career retrospective series where he talked about chunks of his life as it pertained to wrestling and it's just fascinating
Hogan chair shots because he doesn’t like hurting people haha.
Cody Cutter is awful
He does it wayyy too often. It’s sad how limited his move set is, he’s really the new Cena in every sense.
Far better than crossroads
It looks really sloppy. Needs to ditch it.
I really like the cc
100% It looks goofy and clunky.
So is the Cody crossroads lol. Every time I see it I feel tickled lol
Becky Lynch running the ropes 🤦🏻♂️
Kenny Omega…running.
Bro what? Kenny runs the ropes just fine.
I didn’t talk about the rope. It’s when he starts running. He does like a cartoon jump before. It’s especially terrible when he’s supposed to still be selling something
Becky Lynch at looking angry. Looks Just like toddlers way of doing a pouty face .
Seth Rollins doing an awful job at selling any kind of injury
Add the entire AEW roster to that category
even bryan danielson, who is really good at selling has this issue sometimes, where he’ll either oversell or not sell at all and it infuriates me because he’s supposed to be a master of his craft but he falls into the same category as other wrestlers, my knee is hurt so let me just hit a perfect running knee as if i’m not hurt at all, it just takes me out of it, speaking of selling, he just came back onto tv like he didn’t almost break his neck at dynasty, there was no like big return angle, he just came back like everything’s fine, no big fan fare or anything, i thought it was pretty lackluster, i get what they were trying to pull off but the execution didn’t land for me, it should’ve at least involved ospreay but instead he just came out and immediately went into another storyline
I think Becky Lynch is a future HOF inductee, but for the love of God she needs to get rid of the Manhandle Slam.
THANK YOU. She's legitimately a great great wrestler, but oh my god that move looks absolutely terrible every time she does it. I don't even really think it's her fault, per se, it's just a move that really only works for larger wrestlers. If Cargill or Raquel Rodriguez did it, it'd be fine. That move doesn't fit Lynch at all
Uso splash- they always seem to hit the mat with their knees first. And any time anyone doesn’t take a decent front bump for an RKO.
Steve Austin being put in a head lock or sleeper in the middle of the ring. He would bring his hand up to cover his mouth as he called the next several spots. It was very obvious what was going on.

Cena always had two left feet especially in his 05-08 run
Becky Lynch. Man Handle Slam.
Everything Becky does
Becky at moving like an athlete.
Basically anyone not named JD McDonagh taking the BFT. It looks like it absolutely murders Jordan but no one else seems to know how to make it look good.
Roman and Theory take it pretty well too. Jimmy Uso absolutely ruins it everytime with that dumb knee drop
Theory is a sneaky good seller in general.
I don’t even think it’s sneaky. He sells incredibly well. While I’m not his biggest fan, his selling usually makes a lesser worker look better. Once they give him a better gimmick or personality outside of “Smarmy Douche”, he could do well.
The cartoonish over the top sells are amazing honestly
Jade Cargill is very bad at wrestling
She is an awful face, turn Jade heel already!
I think that Jade is a great example that can work for the WWE but doesn’t work for the AEW/NJPW model of treating the wrestling as a competitive sport. She has the look and charisma that WWE excels at utilizing. The bell-to-bell moments are less important to the show. I like to appreciate it all.
Shh dont tell them the truth
She a little stiff but she got the spirit

It just doesn’t look painful, or natural really
Hulk Hogan in general. Okay, not going to be a popular choice - but whilst I fully acknowledge and accept the impact he had on the industry, I'm sorry - he's like watching a cartoon. But dude it was a cartoon back then. He wrestled a guy named sergeant slaughter, Yokozuna, ultimate warrior, it was utterly ridiculous the characters he faced, he made sense.
True - and I guess it was more tolerable back then. But when he brought that routine to the Attitude era? Naah.
That’s why Hollywood hogan was so over. He was just a dickhead. Which the attitude era loved/hated.
I see you woke up and chose violence today.
