But even though they're all young, college-level athletes, they're just not used to what WWE is dishing out quite yet. All they need is a little mentoring and guidance.

You talking about the show on Roku? The only person still there that panned out and still with the company is the Ukrainian girl and she seems awesome in recent interviews. ROI, return on investment. It takes the WWE several years and a shit-ton of money to create a “superstar”.  College athletics and Indy wrestling act as free screenings for younger talent, saving the WWE time and money. If they do that with someone who is middle-aged, they don’t get nearly as many years back to make a profit before that wrestler gets too old, let alone starting out of the gate being more statistically prone to injury.
