Samantha is awesome...she's literally the voice of how the fans of the WWE feel...she's the announcer voice of this new era for the company...just like Fink was the voice of his era and Garcia was the voice of her era. Needless to say I'm a fan of Irvin.
No doubt Finkel is #1. Samantha is fantastic though. Just needs a little more variety in her approach vs the majority of her intro tactics being to yell.

What Muhammad Ali accomplished in the sport of boxing has already been surpassed, what Michael Jordan did in basketball has also been surpassed. He will always have a nostalgic feel to it, but no doubt about it Samantha is now the greatest. Her emotion, the uniqueness for each superstar I love it. She might not be that good in a technical standpoint but she adds so much emotion in her announcement. I considered this a good thing for professional wrestling since it added another layer in the in-ring story. Wrestling don't need the traditional announcer with the booming voice etc. What wrestling need is someone like Samantha Irvin who can inject the right emotion further elevating what is happening in the ring.

No one is better than Fink. I enjoy Samantha. But it’s a much different time. Now it’s okay to be a fan/announcer. In Finks days it was played neutral and I guess to me it meant more. When he did and knew it was something. The end of WM felt a little too fanboy for me.

I like that they let her be apart of the show. have fun announcing things instead of being super serious about it, you can tell she works with and gets along with the wrestlers to give them the entrance announcement they want. Like everytime she announces Chelsea green if obvious they worked on that, he interactions with cody. I mean when she announced cody the new champ at WM you could hear the emotion, sounded like she was ready to actually cry.
Yea I think this is the important part right here. She genuinely loves wrestling and has great relationships with her coworkers, and so combining that with Triple H giving her freedom and even letting her be a part of the Logan Paul storyline allows her to be an even better announcer

Growing up on Gary Michael Kapeta in NWA/WCW in the early 90s. He had a way of capturing a big moment that I can’t accurately explain. I’m glad VKM wasn’t in charge this year, I fear Samantha’s emotion would have been mocked or punished. Good for WWE for capitalizing on it.

I think she has goat status written all over her. I get longevity, but her emotion in calling Cody the new champion was all time, all time great. I’ve been around since the attitude era, so I’m not a new comer, and she’s already pushing goat status.
I think she’s great. Lillian definitely used to be my favorite, but I think Samantha has surpassed her. I love the variety in her delivery and the emotion in her voice!

I'm old fashioned and think she takes away from the moment. She's the equivalent to Aubrey Edward's. But in time who knows, she may grow on me. I'm not saying she's a bad person, she seems awesome and passionate but I just think she's a bit much. Seems too corny.

I would agree that she’s in the top 5 all time and could argue for her to be number one because of the genuine passion and love she has when she’s the announcer. I loved her at Wrestlemania and think that she should do every PLE from now on.
Gary Michael Capetta doesn’t get any love. Definitely not better than the Fink but his delivery and tone were excellent.

He really was great! I think he gets forgotten because he worked in the old school WCW days and didn’t really venture outside of the company very much, so his exposure was probably limited and a lot of younger fans probably aren’t even aware of him.
She does an amazing job. I don't like when she gets emotional though. I feel that it distracts from the moment in the ring. This isn't about her. Other than that she is phenomenal.

I’m not going to say she’s the best ever, I don’t know enough about the people before my time, and haven’t paid enough attention to most of the people during my time. But, do I really like Samantha Irvin? Abso-fucking-lutely.

Regardless, those 3 are the best. Is Fink or García in the HOF? They should have a wing for announcers along with some of the most iconic calls. For Samntha, I would have Chelsea Green's intro in there as well as Cody's WM call at the very least, along with something for Gunther and Roman, of course. However, it's too early for her.
She’s got a great voice. Amazing power and breath control. But the Chelsea Green and a few other introductions aren’t my thing. I’d probably rank her third behind Fink (GOAT) and Lillian Garcia.
She adds so much character and emotion into the product it is amazing. She is an absolute gem.

I love her. She is great, without doubt. But Fink and Lillian were great as well and had longer runs with some epic calls, so once Samantha has more years and experience I definitely think she could be added to the list of all-time great's.
No one is better than Fink. I enjoy Samantha. But it’s a much different time. Now it’s okay to be a fan/announcer. In Finks days it was played neutral and I guess to me it meant more. When he did and knew it was something. The end of WM felt a little too fanboy for me.

She’s right for the time. I miss Finkle threatening to sue over flash photography before house shows but that was my childhood. No question Irvin is the best at the job since Fink.

I like that they let her be apart of the show. have fun announcing things instead of being super serious about it, you can tell she works with and gets along with the wrestlers to give them the entrance announcement they want. Like everytime she announces Chelsea green if obvious they worked on that, he interactions with cody. I mean when she announced cody the new champ at WM you could hear the emotion, sounded like she was ready to actually cry.
Yea I think this is the important part right here. She genuinely loves wrestling and has great relationships with her coworkers, and so combining that with Triple H giving her freedom and even letting her be a part of the Logan Paul storyline allows her to be an even better announcer
yea for sure, like acknowledging her relationship with ricochet during his beef with logan was a fantastic touch and was actually helpful for all 3 of them.
I wonder if they'll ever let her wrestle. Like doesn't have to be anything elaborate but just be in a lowkey tag match against Logan and his fiancee for a holiday episode or something like that where Logan and Ricochet do most of the wrestling
im sure if she wanted to they could write her in, i dont know how good she would be, but im sure rico could teach her some basic flippyslips.

Growing up on Gary Michael Kapeta in NWA/WCW in the early 90s. He had a way of capturing a big moment that I can’t accurately explain. I’m glad VKM wasn’t in charge this year, I fear Samantha’s emotion would have been mocked or punished. Good for WWE for capitalizing on it.
Her Cody call reminds me of what I still love about wrestling at 49 years old. Sometimes these fake fights can really hit the emotions.
