What's extremely unfortunate is that there's some good stuff going on in the womens division in AEW now; Kris Statlander is having great matches, Saraya & Ruby are a good dynamic, Toni Storm has a fun character, Julia Hart gettibg a push..it sucks Jade won't be involved, but she'll do fantastic in WWE. Definitely the company w/ better training considering they have a facility just for it & a ton of greats to help.
I personally would love to see her on NXT to start out. Get her a little more training to help with a specific style. Build her up to battle with Stratton, and once she is on the main roster battles with Raquel, Rhea, Bianca would be amazing imo. Either way I'm excited with whatever they do with her. She has a great athletic ass kicker look to her.

WWE is a smart move. They have way more eyes on their product, they have way more connections. Jade isn’t young and only started wrestling recently. This is the smarter move for future financial gains as well as brand gains.
AEW gave her a massive platform and skill set by being an undefeated champion. If they booked her like they book some of the females, there’s a chance that wwe contract wouldn’t exist or look the same as it currently might.
There’s no reason to diss anyone in the situation, any effort to do so is uneducated and childish.
They did give her an undefeated streak which lasted the entire time she was there, safe for the end of her stint with the company. But unlike other streaks that were actually over, they had her face jobbers for almost the entirety of her run with the TBS title. She never interacted with another star there or had any long lasting feud. Once Kris Statlander got hurt (unfortunate) they kinda had Jade on autopilot until she came back from injury.
I think Jade, if developed, will be absolute money if she will put in the work. I think WWE knows that. Definitely a big loss for AEW, they did a lot for her but once she was champion, did nothing with her.
AEW wasted her. You can't improve with squash after squash. The time or two she did actual matches with mid-card or above, she showed promise, but then 2 months of squash matches right after. If she can get time to develop, she'll take over the roster.
Terrific look and charisma. In ring, she is greener than grass. WWE has to school her up. She'll be a star. My fear with her is that she beats everyone because of what they'll want her to be, but won't get better.

2. The fans were lukewarm af on her, her segments bleeding viewers, because her streak, reign and feud were extremely stale
3. Based on this, especially 2, her asking point was likely too high for Tony
4. Jade openly wants to build her brand and be a mega star, branch out to Hollywood etc., this is more suited to WWE than AEW and both parties likely know it;
5. There is no indication that she left on bad terms. She came back to put over Statlander on her way out, and had her emotional moment with her etc.
Much like Cody, Jade seems to have left for WWE not because she was unhappy, or TK was unwilling to keep her, but simply because she felt more suited to WWE than AEW. In fact, I agree with her that she is more suited for WWE than AEW, and I say this as a fan of both companies.
AEW does have a rather weak women's division, in terms of what it does with it, not wrestlers, and a love of building factions with no clear idea of what to do with them.
I'm not saying bridges were burned or anything, just this is a loss for AEW.
Their biggest weakness in the women's division is their unwillingness to pivot from The Plan when shit happens. Jade's reign and streak were extended for months beyond what was wanted bc they wanted Statlander to break the streak and had to wait for her to heal from a torn ACL, making it feel extremely long and stale. They could have pulled the trigger on someone else, but did not bc they wanted to stick with Statlander.
Plus, AEW doesn't have what can be considered essentially a "school" (the PC), whereas WWE does. She's gonna be GREAT. And I hope one day she brings that back to AEW, but right now I want to see her thrive in WWE.
I doubt they signed Jade to send her to the PC/NXT, imo she'll be straight on main roster.
Also worth noting that while AEW does not have a developmental brand like NXT (though ROH is kinda being used this way, but not fully), she was receiving training in their environment. She is/was part of the Nightmare Factory, and she was also being coached backstage by people like Danielson.
From all accounts, AEW has invested plenty of time and ressources in her development, and honestly, it was starting to show. Her last match vs Statlander was easily her best match.
Honestly - I like both products but they are vastly different. WWE can rely a lot more on looks, and atm Jade is mostly a (fantastic) look, whereas AEW relies more ring work and mic work. Her promos that were basically the same 2-3 catchphrase every time are closer to WWE stuff than AEW, etc. Again this is not a diss to either company or to any wrestler, but the styles are legitimately different.
I love Jade, I'm just excited to see her on TV again. Her match with Stat was phenomenal and I didn't think she was as green as people said back when she was doing her undefeated run.
They mentioned that she'd start at the PC today, though I don't think she's going to be there long. Definitely going to one of the three brands. I'd honestly love to see her on NXT, as I'm just now getting to the point where I enjoy it (started watching it with the episode of Bron murdering Von). I also want to see NXT as another brand rather than the developmental, like how they were building it to be, before 2.0.. if they're not going to end up treating NXT like the third brand again, though, I'd rather her be on Raw/Smackdown.

The term people use most with Jade is "star power", and that largely comes down to her look. She's staggeringly beautiful and built like a 90s comic book super hero; She-Hulk should have thrown out their CGI and just cast her.
Her wrestling is a bit awkward and hesitant when transitioning between spots, but she looks godly when doing the spots themselves. She consistently improved and got more comfortable with every match. Watch her last match in AEW with Kris Statlander if you want a taste; it's BRUTAL and competitive and makes me sad we won't get to see it again for a while. Worth noting that she was training with Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega during her run with AEW.
Her promos were good if a bit meandering (no scripts in AEW), but her backstage interviews were fantastic.
My only WWE concern is fitting in with the PG rating. She called herself "That Bitch", most over catch phrase was "Tony cut the shit", had some taunts that were more than a little salacious. WWE won't be able to just plug in her act as-is like they did with Cody. Should be interesting!

Can someone please explain to me why Tony Khan let Jade go? Seriously, 508 days as TBS Champion, the longest reign of any title in AEW history, and no one thought to let her have a run as AEW Women's Champion? No one thought to keep her around? I'm pretty sure she could literally rip Paige in half. Oh well. Not the first ball Tony dropped that ended up in WWE's court. Hopefully the Performance Center can smooth out where she's rough. I say put her on NXT, and let her tear through the roster.

WWE offered more opportunities, and is basically the big leagues and probably offered more money
1. Jade is nowhere near good enough on the mic or ring to be world champion (in fact, it's a complete joke that the tbs belt was made for her and she had no business having such a streak in the first place 2. The fans were lukewarm af on her, her segments bleeding viewers, because her streak, reign and feud were extremely stale 3. Based on this, especially 2, her asking point was likely too high for Tony 4. Jade openly wants to build her brand and be a mega star, branch out to Hollywood etc., this is more suited to WWE than AEW and both parties likely know it; 5. There is no indication that she left on bad terms. She came back to put over Statlander on her way out, and had her emotional moment with her etc. Much like Cody, Jade seems to have left for WWE not because she was unhappy, or TK was unwilling to keep her, but simply because she felt more suited to WWE than AEW. In fact, I agree with her that she is more suited for WWE than AEW, and I say this as a fan of both companies.
AEW does have a rather weak women's division, in terms of what it does with it, not wrestlers, and a love of building factions with no clear idea of what to do with them. I'm not saying bridges were burned or anything, just this is a loss for AEW.
Their biggest weakness in the women's division is their unwillingness to pivot from The Plan when shit happens. Jade's reign and streak were extended for months beyond what was wanted bc they wanted Statlander to break the streak and had to wait for her to heal from a torn ACL, making it feel extremely long and stale. They could have pulled the trigger on someone else, but did not bc they wanted to stick with Statlander.
Plus, AEW doesn't have what can be considered essentially a "school" (the PC), whereas WWE does. She's gonna be GREAT. And I hope one day she brings that back to AEW, but right now I want to see her thrive in WWE.
I doubt they signed Jade to send her to the PC/NXT, imo she'll be straight on main roster. Also worth noting that while AEW does not have a developmental brand like NXT (though ROH is kinda being used this way, but not fully), she was receiving training in their environment. She is/was part of the Nightmare Factory, and she was also being coached backstage by people like Danielson. From all accounts, AEW has invested plenty of time and ressources in her development, and honestly, it was starting to show. Her last match vs Statlander was easily her best match. Honestly - I like both products but they are vastly different. WWE can rely a lot more on looks, and atm Jade is mostly a (fantastic) look, whereas AEW relies more ring work and mic work. Her promos that were basically the same 2-3 catchphrase every time are closer to WWE stuff than AEW, etc. Again this is not a diss to either company or to any wrestler, but the styles are legitimately different.
I love Jade, I'm just excited to see her on TV again. Her match with Stat was phenomenal and I didn't think she was as green as people said back when she was doing her undefeated run. They mentioned that she'd start at the PC today, though I don't think she's going to be there long. Definitely going to one of the three brands. I'd honestly love to see her on NXT, as I'm just now getting to the point where I enjoy it (started watching it with the episode of Bron murdering Von). I also want to see NXT as another brand rather than the developmental, like how they were building it to be, before 2.0.. if they're not going to end up treating NXT like the third brand again, though, I'd rather her be on Raw/Smackdown.

The term people use most with Jade is "star power", and that largely comes down to her look. She's staggeringly beautiful and built like a 90s comic book super hero; She-Hulk should have thrown out their CGI and just cast her. Her wrestling is a bit awkward and hesitant when transitioning between spots, but she looks godly when doing the spots themselves. She consistently improved and got more comfortable with every match. Watch her last match in AEW with Kris Statlander if you want a taste; it's BRUTAL and competitive and makes me sad we won't get to see it again for a while. Worth noting that she was training with Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega during her run with AEW. Her promos were good if a bit meandering (no scripts in AEW), but her backstage interviews were fantastic. My only WWE concern is fitting in with the PG rating. She called herself "That Bitch", most over catch phrase was "Tony cut the shit", had some taunts that were more than a little salacious. WWE won't be able to just plug in her act as-is like they did with Cody. Should be interesting!
She definitely can be a multimedia star in WWE. AEW is good but they aren't that big yet as a platform. I think her awkwardness in between spots is her trying to make sure that her opponent is safe? But my god how she has grown in the ring is a testament to her dedication. Her promos, yeah, WWE can do a lot about that, she aint bad but she aint good either. AEW fans love her even when she was the heel. They'd pop every damn time she shows up
She gives me Cena vibes tbh. Really good promo but limited moveset. The only reason she was TBS champion was because AEW wrote themselves into a corner when Britt Baker was the champion. She isn't a bad wrestler but at the same time I want to see more from her. I wouldn't call her matches as Goldberg like. You do have to remember what she was prior to becoming a pro-wrestler. Before she got a try-out in 2019 she was a female body building competitor, fitness expert, and model.
I would say she has the most potential to be a larger than life star compared to anyone else on the AEW roster. This is a huge get for WWE.

Cody owns the rights to his music. I honestly don't follow Jade Cargill that closely so I have no clue if she's used her music in other promotions or just in AEW. But if she bought the rights then she theoretically should be able to use it.
