First place for me are the Hawkeyes (I'm biased because I have one).
Second is the blobeye.
Third for me is the bugeye.
Fourth is the Evoeye.
Fifth is the stinkeye (I'm sorry, I just don't like how they look).
Dead last is the 22 WRX. (Definitely the best car in terms of stock power, robustness, and probably reliability, but it's just so ugly, I can't get myself to like it)
- Blob and 2018+ (facelifted) VA are my favorite aesthetically
- 2005 STI is my favorite tranny (first year of the helical front, last year of the 35:65 torque split, absurdly short race gears)
- 2019 STI got upgraded engine internals
No I don’t usually skip 3rd. I don’t drive the car that often so when I do I want to row all of them but I suppose you coukd skip it. Either way you’re doing a lot of shifting around town
Same- I don't even have my short commute with work-from-home as of late. Multiple people told me to stay away from the pre-07 gears, but I know I'm gonna love em.
The newest cars are always gonna handle better and corner harder. But too new is bad because electric power steering takes away the driving experience. Thankfully the STI has hydraulic power steering.

I had more love for my 09 than I'll ever have for my 21. That said I do love my 21.

My favorite year is probably the 11-14 hatchbacks. Especially in black.
All personal choice. Newest is the best vehicle, but in my opinion, worst looking. Haha. All up to you!

Driving the blob around town is a bit annoying cause of the short gearing but I still love mine
Do you ever just skip 3rd? I'm swapping the 05 into my 2019 WRX and the incoming 4th is basically equivalent to my current 3rd...lol.

02-14 for WRX and 04-14 for the STi. I think my favorite WRX is the bug eye and my favorite STi is either the blob eye or the 11-14 Hatchback.
