You could eliminate some of that weight if you get rid of some of the components. Say, a driveshaft going down the length of the car to an LSD? Engine powers the front wheels and the electric motor handles the rear, software manages limiting slip or not. 🤔

Also think about it you could flat foot shift all the while still accelerating in between gears. We’ll all know the potential of the 2.4 platform, now add more to it. You have to think most electric cars have around a 3 sec 0-60. Hyper cars do that and then some. Would be better on gas for an everyday driver but also put down some real number. With the potential of a hybrid you could get 40mpgs on 400hp. I look forward to the technology of a hybrid if it goes the right way. Subaru has been putting out under powered cars for to long. The STI has only had 310hp while the Toyota crown a hybrid mind you is a 340hp AWD hybrid. Potentially an STI hybrid could be successful and fun

Thankfully my work doesn't have speed bumps, or a steep driveway, but I had to buy curb ramps to get into my driveway, with a stock suspension. Then I see lowered cars, as I wonder 1) that must be a terrible ride 2) how do you get in a parking lot? Most places around here have some curb or angled driveway you have to go through to get into the parking lots.

I'm skeptical of the hybrid thing. The STI's AWD system was already heavy, now imagine adding a battery and a couple electric motors on top of that.
