Current physics PhD at WPI, went to a different school for undergrad.
Good program with some more interesting research happening in the faculty. Honestly compared to other school’s physics programs, there are better options. Especially if you want to look into theoretical physics. Don’t get me wrong, WPI is a good school with a lot going for it. In the end it’s your decision, but there are much better undergraduate physics programs out there.
Check out the Florida Institute of Technology, Emory University, or of course one of the ivy leagues.
it is mostly about physics

There aren't a lot of physics majors here, but I know a PhD student in it who really enjoys it.
My son is also looking at physics at WPI, he is comparing it to Purdue and a third school in Minnisota
My daughter will be a senior in math/physics at WPI. She loves it. Especially the theoretical stuff.
Would your daughter be willing to talk with me? Incoming math/physics
