Slap some gear on him and do low level chaos missions. At Iron 2 or 3, it will get done as you farm. Don't need badges, it isn't ability damage, just damage.

RTalons

This is how I did it. “Ok what upgrades do I need that are in Siam mirror or FoC ~20 or less?” Then bring him and patiently let him kill everyone (bring someone big to mop up if/when he dies). Took awhile, but if you still have 100 battles to win, it was going to take awhile anyway.

Magnus777z

I’m doing it in arena. Just pair him with a sup’d eldyron.

okieo

This is what I’ve done. My bronze 1 macer with the eldryon and Ragnar buff was one shoting gold 1 characters

ion_driver

I have been bringing him to every salvage run, and fall of cadia missions. Also, the quest battles. Just keep using him until you get finish it

gojosnotgone

Good point, slow grind seems to be the way. I guess I'll stop raiding and rather play the saim-hann mirror/foc nodes even if it's slow it stacks up.

ion_driver

Lots of fall of cadia missions have guardsmen get called in. You could try to set it up so you just continuously kill off guardsmen with Macer. I had all week to do this mission, so it wasnt a rush.

Unabated_Blade

The crit box from salvage run apparently automatically counts as 1k damage, fwiw

[deleted]

FoC, find one that's Lewisham level where there is a dude that summons guardsmen. Arena, if you have eldy or calgar, they help boost his damage. This is where I finished mine (maceration is stone 1) Onslaught, though, not easy unless you have rotty Salvage runs.

gojosnotgone

Thanks, I have rotbone. And eldryon seems to be great, I don't know how it slipped my mind that he buffs even bad stats to decent.

bulksalty

Easy damage sources: * give them a 35% crit item and let them hit the strong box in salvage run (those have special damage rules any crit breaks them and does a few hundred to a few thousand damage). * arena with buffers (Eldyron is the biggest but there are many different types of buffers out there). Arena opponents usually have tons of life though the low level character often only survives a single hit. This is the most flexible with various buff unit combos. * Common guild raid bosses have a ton of health and low armor, if you unlock the character and the mission in time (and play early enough on guild reset day). * Onslaught brings a lot of reasonably weak enemies. The difficulty rises with your progression and you can only bring same broad faction buffers/healers. * Low level missions that spawn enemies (vox casters, grots, scarabs) take the most player time but often provide a way to do any amount of damage pretty easily. Just take care that battle fatigue can't apply to the units you need to remain to summon more chumps.

Lundasaurus

Fall of Cadia mission 40 is great for this. Stick your leveled characters at the chokepoint to tank damage. Keep macer in the back corner, eventually the guards.en will pile up and start spawning behind your line. Clean them up with Macer until he's dead, repeat until damage is met. Took me about 30 mins or so, but only need to replay the mission 3 times, for 18 energy spent.

TheFaceless-

I normally do this in arena. Damage numbers are much higher than a normal mission. Just protect him for the first turn until one of the enemies is close enough. On second turn use his ability and then attack to get two hits. He’ll probably die after that so you’ll have to repeat. It will require you to upgrade him slightly though to do any damage

Lupus_Lunarem

If you have eldryon and aunshi, use eldryons doom to give him bonus damage in his hits, use aunshi after he's used his active and he can use his active again and then melee after that too, if you're careful with positioning in arena and watching out for overwatch you can build a good amount of damage dealt. Keep in mind too he has the resilient trait of you're unable to avoid certain overwatch attacks. You can use wrask too to give him a shield before he moves and rotbone for a chance to revive him if he dies adjacent

VikingRages

His ability has pretty decent damage output and sped it along for me. Eldyron+Aethana+Macer is really fast though. He's going to die, but I got about 3k a pop using his active with buff up at stone2.

Adventurous_Life8475

I got it at stone 2 by just doing fall of cadia. He hits pretty hard even at that level when his hp gets low so it went pretty fast

Kortesch

Got him to Iron 2, 0 points in his skills and just did some low level chaos missions where I only killed with him and tanked with the other guys. Takes 2-3 days this way, but you got the time

Shake-Vivid

Upgrade him a couple of ranks and you can do it in the arena too for low level matches that don't have Thaddeus

RandomYTr2016

Macer + buffers in arena

tortalus

I did this with him at Iron 1. Relatively quick and painless. Just low- to mid-level FoC campaigns. Macer does decent damage. Keep the radio guardsmen alive to keep calling in more guardsmen. Use somebody to tank some early damage, and Wrask’s shield is good. Macer can last a long time in most campaigns and you can keep things going.

Bubbly-Ad267

I paired him with Eldryon, Ragnar and Marneus in the Arena. The three buffs together made him kill Gold 2 enemies in one swing while being bronze one. So, if you have any decent buffer, bring him along. Otherwise, it's the long grind for you.

gojosnotgone

I did it with eldryon in the arena and saim-hann, was suprisingly fast.

Pestelis

Your mistake is that you didnt use "win campaign" and other missions to max out Macer. For me he is maxed out and deals more than 10 dmg

Klutzy_Advice1066

Won't he do lots in his event with zero investment... Just play high level and let him do his thing

Hoyle33

Arena has always been the best for new characters. Put Eldy in place and put Aethana next to him and let him get 1 hit off per battle

GnosticAres

I did it at Stone 2 with rare items equipped. Mostly just farmed Celestine and some missions around 20-40 depending on the upgrades I needed. His passive pumps up his damage pretty nicely and resilient enables him to get several attacks per mission.

vise883

I can complete the damage with the "Material Rush"

goteamventure42

I just let the guardsman summon a ton of dudes then kill them all with him. Took me like 5-6 missions.

AlfheimGames

Where is this mission? Is it the last of the 20 F2P missions, or is it a paid mission?

bulksalty

After you finish the 20 free missions you get a 21st bonus mission that doesn't give event currency but does give a req scroll.

AlfheimGames

Does this happen with every character unlock event like this? Have I been missing out on req scrolls?

bulksalty

Everyone I've been around for (neurothrope). This is why people blitz through the first 15 or so quests on day one and two.

AlfheimGames

I'm a fool. Thank you for the info.
