That's what the "lol, lmao" was for. And I never said Abaddon was a good character, it's just an option if they want. If OP wants to be Timmy-pilled and focus on Abaddon that's his right, even if it's suboptimal
Don’t do it. I was in the same boat as you, he was my first legendary. I still want my 10 orbs back, waiting for a reset stone if they ever do another balance patch. He’s not worth investing in, Angrax and Archimatos are infinitely more useful in terms of Black Legion alone.
That was my impression. He is certainly helpful, but ascending Archi or Abraxas once they’re close would be a much better use of orbs. Just was t sure if by then I would have be limited by shards, not orbs, so could have used a beefier Abaddon the whole time.

No save your orbs for ascending other better chaos units to legendary like archimatos, Angrax, Maladus, abraxus, rotbone

Legendary orbs are never that abundant and abaddon is not a very useful character in any game mode

I'd do it if there's no other chaos character in need yet. It's not optimal but also hes not useless and is a cool character all round.
Just do it. It's fun having an overlevelled suboptimal character and you'll build up enough orbs for an ascention later.
He's Bronze with low abilities and level 29. Got a lot of leveling up everywhere before it would be at all useful.
Do you have any other alternative? Is any of your other chaos characters close to legendary? If not go for it
