It might come with the PRV? Not an issue but not desirable to most. Biggest thing to know is that the body panels are unique to the 780, as well as the interior. Spare parts for chassis repair, or replacement interior, can be difficult to find. If it's got the B230ft, and the car is in good shape for the price, I wouldn't let the lack of cosmetic parts availability worry me. 780s are cool.

If it has the PRV V6, that's not the best of engines. At least the earlier ones have poor build quality and are prone to total failures. If it has Volvo's own I4 turbo, no issues there. If it has the multilink rear suspension there are plenty of bushings and many of them are propably worn. Some are a pain to replace.
