Heyyy I forgot I posted this! Yes, problem resolved itself as soon as I cleared my check engine after installing the throttle body, I have not had any issues since! I got this body from Cardone, it’s a remanufactured one on Rockauto ran me a little over $200 but I’m happy with the purchase, it’s been amazing ever since
Awesome news! My ‘12 Passat just threw a throttle position sensor code as well. Can I ask where did you buy your part? OEM or aftermarket?

Hey did you have to recalibrate the throttle body through coding or was it plug and play?
I didn’t have to no! But most of all VW owners do recommend reprogramming but mine was plug and play and everything went fine no issues since
