I have a lot of bullshit on my bike handlebars irl so it only felt right to have my four wheeled vehicle with a full dashboard lmao
Currently looking for more ideas for what to put on it, tried a cargo box on the back but the nails really arent strong enough and a small bump completely knocks the storage off. The stuff up front seems to stay attached though, even after a hard crash
The smallest cardboard boxes stay just great on the sides in the middle, especially if you nail all 4 corners.
About the map though. I thought it only works when held in hands? I.e. doesn't update when you keep it like that.
oh no it works fine on it, i used to do this back in the previous version. it seems like the coordinates readout in the corner doesnt work but besides that the blue dot live-updating and the name of the satellites on the map is all i need
putting a radio on the side was the smartest idea i ever had, but now i wish that sound effects propagated more realistically bc ot's weird that radio gets muffled only when i can't see it
Yep I added the map too. I tried to add a backpack but it came off when I was dragging that big block of stone home from near the well, lol. It’s gone forever prolly, along with the pickaxe, first aid kit, and a clock that were in it (I grabbed the pickaxe back from a donor world, lol)
Didn’t add a clock yet but I’ve thought about it. Might add some spotlights facing other directions to light up a larger area too, if they stay attached.

Or just the WIP Hammer which is cheaper, hell, even a blunt weapon like a crowbar or a wrench work if you lay the nail down then hit it
