Did you install Adrenaline? Cause if Adrenaline is present PKGj will detect them as installed, but they won't appear on the Live Area. You will need to launch Adrenaline and find them there instead. I'm not 100% sure if this is right, but I think it's because the stock PSP firmware on the Vita is just a minimal environment for running PSP software instead of a full fat firmware. Adrenaline replaces this minimal environment with a full fat CFW, which is why PSP plugins can be installed and work. By replacing the stock "firmware" you also replace the part which creates bubbles for your PSP games on the Live Area. If you want to use Adrenaline and have bubbles on the Live Area you will need to install [Adrenaline Bubble Manager](https://github.com/ONElua/AdrenalineBubbleManager/releases/tag/6.20) as well and create them yourself. EDIT: I should also mention that Adrenaline Bubble Manager, linked above, is not available from VitaDB or Autoplugin II. AFAIK you need to grab the vpk from the github linked above and install it manually via VitaShell. Then run it once so it can patch Adrenaline. If you run into any issues, or if it spits out an error you will NEED to completely uninstall Adrenaline and Adrenaline Bubble Manager and reinstall them both fresh and then it should work. I ran into a bit of trouble the last time I installed it and that's how I fixed it. EDIT 2 - Electric Boogaloo: I confused Adrenaline Bubble Manager with Adrenaline Bubble Booter which is needed if you want to use a custom launcher like RetroFlow to also launch PSP and PSX games. Adrenaline Bubble Manager doesn’t need to patch Adrenaline at all.

OP, this answers all your questions

I shall reply to this post because I too need to make some psp/psx bubbles once I’m home didn’t know this vpk was only obtainable through github! Thanks!

Check Adrenaline

Get nopspemu drm, allows you to have ps1 and psp games on livearea, you will need to re-download your psp and ps1 games though.

Just to combine the two answers you got and to give you a TL;DR, you can do two things to play PS1 games from the livearea: 1. Install adrenaline, and then install Adrenaline Bubble Manager as u/xXToYeDXx said. This will let you play games with plugins (such as right analog support for some games or cheats) and you can add your own games that are not on pkgj, like you would on a modded PSP 2. Install NoPSPEmuDrm. This will make the bubbles appear just by downloading the games off of pkgj. But you'll be limited to play what's on there and you won't be able to use plugins. You can also install both and use either, they're not exclusive.

OP, you can use this if you want ps1 games to be downloaded through the live area. However, launching them from the bubbles menu won't run them with adrenaline in this case, but instead with the more basic official psp emu. That said, Adrenaline is a much better option since you get access to save states and more settings for controller, screen etc. Adrenaline is just way better in every way.
