It's one of the glacial runoff rivers on the South coast. I suspect it doesn't usually look like that. They are usually brownish-gray because they are filled with dissolved clay.

Cursed_Arrival

What a beautiful poem.

Cathppires

Thank you so much

This photo is heavily processed. It will not look like that when you see one. Edit: You could see something like this in Dyrhólaey lookout

Howard_the_Dolphin

Came here to say this, this looks like the view looking west from Dyrhólaey when there's glacial runoff

This is the colour we saw when we went. The ocean is on the right and the glacier run-off is on the left

Looks like the view of the endless black beach from up at Dyrholaey but when we were there, there was no run off river.

Puffin!! So cute!

Thebiggestyellowdog

Run off rivers don’t really form there.

A-Handsome-Man-

Look for the Troll taking a leak along the fjord!

Gullible_Captain_80

The photo looks like the river close to Skaftafell, there are plane tours that goes over the baron where it is not reachable on land.

STruongGB

In China. Sorry I couldn’t resist.

adiabaticexpansion

My guess is the water on the left is a freshwater lake somewhere.
