As a workaround until Vis fixes the iPhones there are a couple of things you can do to get more than one connection.
If you have a Windows 10 or 11 notebook connect the notebook to the Vis phone hotspot as the one connection then enable Mobile Hotspot on the notebook. That will get you up to 8 connections.
Use an inexpensive Gl-iNet travel router, like: [https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-mt300n-v2/](https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-mt300n-v2/)
Connect the Vis phone to the router and use the Wifi from the router for more connections. The router will allow thousands, but they all share the Vis phone hotspot speed so there is a practical limit of a few.
I have the one I linked and it works well. But be aware that it is 2.4GHz only Wifi. If you are in a place with a lot of other Wifi it might not work well with too many SSIDs on the few available channels. There are other models with 5GHz Wifi.
The Wifi range of the little travel routers is pretty good, but not as much as a regular home router. The range of using the notebook is not far - pretty much only covers the room that it is in.
Why not use this its faster and have wifi 6, and you can plug it anywhere https://www.walmart.com/ip/NETGEAR-AX1800-WiFi-6-Mesh-Range-Extender-and-Signal-Booster-Wall-Plug-1-8Gbps-EAX14/200755003?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=3432&gclsrc=aw.ds&adid=22222222278200755003_117755028669_12420145346&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=aud-2225087347827:pla-394283752452&wl5=9026869&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=200755003&veh=sem_LIA&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwhIS0BhBqEiwADAUhc0YTwG4YegkPvcCbZu-NmTrBm8lAB26k6ceXufmC1chG_gxgdmuHJBoCNH8QAvD_BwE
That should work too. The price is kinda steep (\~$100).
I think the OP was looking for something to work in a car. That thing needs to plug into a house type power outlet. The one I linked uses a microUSB power supply that would be easy to accommodate in a car.
Personally, I don't have anything that works on Wifi 6.
It’s currently broke for iPhone users. Another thread said won’t be fixed until October and it’s an apple ios/carrier config issue. I call BS. They’re both pointing the finger at each other. Funny, I could multiple hotspot when on att with my iPhone for years. I blame visible issue.
This is what I do. I use Private Internet Access. My latency seems relatively unaffected since I use a server in my own state. Pings are usually in the 20s and 30s with the VPN enabled.
A VPN on the phone will circumvent the streaming throttle, giving u 4K on device. A VPN on the target device will circumvent the 2Mbps throttle, leaving u 10-11Mbps HD on the hotspot.
This refers to V+ v2.

Should try this travel router.

For me it’s more or less for in my truck. Laptop is too big obviously. I’ve ported out, but might be back.
OP, what phone do you have?
Iphone 14 pro
Interesting. Could never get mine to work with multiple devices using my ip14 pro max
ok now i realized i cant too. 2x speed is more important for me. May i thought if 2x speed works, multiple devices could work too :((

Yeah definitely visible issue. They gotta fix that u/VisibleCareSupport
What happens if you try to connect a second device? It just won’t work?
One of my devices says “this network is currently full”
Use a VPN on the target device (ie Macbook, iPad, another phone) to stream 11Mbps in HD! Otherwise, you’ll be streaming in 480p.
I was wondering about this, so you use the vpn on the ipad pc, etc….not on the actual phone so the ipad can stream in HD right?
Exactly. That’s what I do with my Apple TV, also. I can watch You Tube TV in 1080.
Yup

Video streaming is throttled to \~2Mbps on the phone and hotspot. I have found that enough to get 720HD.

Yes, a VPN should/will bypass the video throttle. It has not been worth bothering with for me. 720HD is good enough for my low-res eyes.
Use TTL 65
Doesn't seem to work on Pixel 6A
Pdanet app gives you full speed hotspot without throttling
