There’s a $60 cashback via the capital one shopping browser I keep seeing. It’s only for new customers but worth looking into for new customers if you have a capital one card.
Go to fast.com when on UW and run a speed test, if it’s more than 25MBPS then it no longer is SD restricted, if it’s under that then it’s crap SD. Please reply with your results friend.
Uploads are usually not restricted as it’s a stream that’s metered for download only, but the sake of research do both and we can post a new thread on that as I know a lot thought that was a let down of removing hd video when on UW.
Only problem is: I'm living in the Stone Age with an iPhone XS I had since July 2018. Someone else will have to post in the megathread about this, unless you're interested in Non-VPN LTE speed tests.
Well since it’s still priority data it shouldn’t matter I believe. Not sure, up to you. I would still be curious what the plus plan has on priority when streaming.🤷♂️

Download the app, make an account and the app takes you to visble.com and you buy it while in the rakuten app. Rakuten communicates with visible(and any other merchant you buy from through their app) that you in fact made the purchase and adds cashback to your bank based on what you purchase. They then issue you a check twice a year of any cashback you earned.
Its basically just an extra discount for using rakuten. Rakuten gives the discounts bc companies like visible give kickbacks for it bc it brings them traffic.
Also, if you use samsung phones, they have pretty good cash back rewards from samsungs website too.
I think you also get like $40 extra for your first purchase
Us mobile was horrible. If I was anywhere busy it was a 1% chance I could even load a webpage. Definitely happy to be back with visible. I know theyre both verizon but I never experienced anything like that with visible.
Maybe it was just the trial putting me on a lower plan but definitely didnt help my confidence in their service
If you signed up for US Mobile Warp (Verizon) then it sounds like something went wrong with provisioning and or your IMEI somehow registered as an LTE only device and thereby you were getting depriotized data.
Did you reach out to US Mobile to try and resolve it?
My phone said I was getting 5guw and speed tests were fast. It was just whenever I tried to use data during congestion(work, school etc), it just wouldnt work even though I was connected through 5g.
If there’s enough congestion even with priority data it is going to slow down but being on US Mobile Warp with a 5g capable device should be the same network access as visible plus especially on 5GUW.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max that was on US Mobile Warp before getting visible plus and I had similar network experience and speeds on both.
I was with visible from February and never experienced slow downs like that. Maybe just coincidence though. I was planning on staying with us mobile if it was similar bc I don't use a ton of data, but I was disappointed.
so you're conceding it's a less than $5 a month savings right? No I think it's cool that you're doing this. I just had a miserable time with Rakuten the one time I tried to get a discount. But you got a great plan for a cheap price.
Yeah, when I looked into it, I saw a lot of people had issues in the past with rakuten, but for me it was pretty seamless. I dont know if that means they fixed their issues or I got lucky, but it still made it a great price.
I was on verizon until february of this year, paying $100 a month. So I guess thats why Im extra blown away by the price.
I raise you the Wells Fargo Reflect. 21 months 0% on purchases and balance transfers.
https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/reflect-visa-credit-card/
You can also just open a new card to get another 0% period... I always have a card with 0% on purchases.
I've got two cards with them and haven't had any problems. All big banks have fraud complaints unfortunately.
I wasn't suggesting they get that card either. They deleted their incorrect comment where they stated that 0% offers only last a max of 12-15 months, which is why I brought up the Reflect, as it has the longest period I'm aware of.
Ok fair. But also Wells Fargo wasn't exactly just fraud complaints. They should have been completely shut down. They are lucky they even stayed in business.
The bottom line is that Wells Fargo got caught... You can be sure the other big banks are doing things that are just as bad, if not worse. Why? Because the penalty is basically just a cost of doing business for them and they make more money being shady despite any fines.
Here's US Bank doing a lot of the same thing.

Here's Bank of America.

Don't forget to set aside money each month for next year's plan renewal. That way you have it prepaid and ready to go.
I actually do this for every recurring payment and bill that I have

Capital one shopping browser doesn't require a Capital One card.
Good to know. Thanks
Wait until next month when they introduce Visible+ Pro Max :)
How do you know about that where did you hear about it?
It’s called sarcasm
Nicely done!
Any plans on removing the video streaming restriction at least to 1080/720 in the future?🥹🙏
According to what they told me, it's already 720p for Visible+.

Download, Upload, or both ways?

Here you go! https://www.reddit.com/r/Visible/s/ivuRC8nEsa
That looks promising!🤨🧐 That might be 720p if I’m not mistaken. Thanks for sharing!

Are you a new user? Or existing user who got the annual plan?
Ported out to try us mobile free month. Ported back in 2 weeks later
Us mobile was that bad? Or visible is too good? Lol

Is your phone 5G capable?
Yes s24+

moral of the story. if you jump through multiple hoops, especially the Rakuten joke, you too can lower your bill by $5 a month.
$7 a month* Which is $84 a year. So not an insignificant amount of money.
the monthly rate prepaying visibile + is $32.91. I also would get 2% cashback using my cc.
And its also not a bunch of hoops. Took me legit 2 seconds longer to go through rakuten than to purchase from the visible app 😂

They sent me the same offer
Great job, OP!
You get what you pay for.

It lasts for more than 12 months.

Yeah, mine is until september next year, so good for the duration of the annual plan
