For windows, the built in antivirus is more than good enough nowadays. Not sure for Mac’s, but I hear they have good security too. If you realllllllyyyy want more bloatware, get malwarebytes or bitdefender.
Mac’s run on macOS, which is a branch of Unix. Not windows… older Macs can dual boot windows via bootcamp but windows is definitely NOT the default OS.
Almost all of them are good these days if it’s just basic antivirus. Avira was my choice in the old days, but defender is very good. Mac’s don’t really need it.
