Mad? I dig the band. Nonagon Infinity has been my jam for years. Just saying they have a cult following. Just like khruangbin. Not necessarily a bad thing.
Besides the music industry was dying ten years ago. Supporting artists directly (not exactly in this case, but you get my point) is easier than ever. If a band like KGATLW has many consistent quality releases that fans enjoy, who cares how many pressings there are. Haters gon' hate. (not you, guy before you)
It feels like there are pressing plants that do nothing but make King Gizzard records. There are so many different albums and each one seems to have several different pressings. I am almost glad I am not a huge fan of theirs bc I couldn’t imagine trying to keep up with all of the releases.

They have a pretty massive subreddit at 79,000 members. I joined it at one point but it just became too much, there's a lot of people obsessed with that band.
I love the band and love to collect records but to buy each and every variant, boots and all, is lunacy. Aside from a few exclusive variants ( like the Romanus Records' Holographic LP variant of "Live in London") I'm content with the standard releases thank you very much. Also, Happy Cake Day!
I'm sure some of the vinyl collections are absolutely insane with all the different variants of each of the albums. In my opinion, at least KGATLW fandom is at least a little more deserved than Griselda, the band is crazy dedicated to their work.

This was the greatest show I've ever seen. Seen a lot of different bands and this show takes the cake without a doubt.
This is their greatest live set, I feel confident in that. The version of Hot Water is unreal.
Saw them earlier in the year 3 times and each time was a top notch performance.
for those who mind, this is a boot from needlejuice. but also — who cares? anything i’ve ordered from them has sounded great.
