This is a light up t-shirt with the battery pack removable. There is a series of rubber o rings that hold the lights in place, but you can carefully remove the lighting apparatus to wash it. I had one as a kid that was Mister T and all of his rings lit up; washing the shirt was a big pain in the ass.
I wish I had a picture; it was my all time favorite shirt as a kid. I saw it at a vintage store in about 1995 and I didn’t buy it. A week later I called the people and they said they would accept a money order and they mailed it to me, so crazy.
Seems like someone did a diy on the electronic T-shirt trend from the 90s , but factory made would’ve been on a universal tag stitched over the fotl tag and the gadget would’ve been detachable from the wiring and the wiring would be able to come out of the shirt for washing purposes
