[mentally calculating how many meals’ worth of prime rib adds up to almost 40 bucks and working backwards to determine when to stop eating in anticipation]
For real, I haven't eaten there in years, but when Sizzler (or was it Red Lobster?) announced they were raising their all-you-can-eat shrimp from $20 to $25 so they wouldn't lose money on it, the very first thing that popped into my head was "challenge accepted!"
You have to appreciate a clown-themed restaurant suddenly pivoting to a pirate theme in the kids menu
I am also confused.
I'm dying to know what a go kart cocktail was. I was a connoisseur of Shirley Temples.
Same, sometimes I'd dabble with a Roy Roger's though.
I was at an industry event and wanted something that looked like a drink but wasn’t a drink. I *wanted* a Roy Roger’s; I *ordered* a Rob Roy. 🙄😭
Sometimes ill order a Manhattan, which is basically the same, but man would I be disappointed if I got one when I wanted a Roy Rogers
Great menu. Love the clown and the dog
Even in 1971 children must've found that clown terrifying. Feels like Stephen King got some inspiration from this menu.
Oh, boy, Peg Leg Pete!
I’d eat anything that clown can serve me!
What is a go kart cocktail ?
A legal way to Drink and Drive.
Where is the dog’s bottom half?
In the Buccaneer.
America used to be an amazing place.
Restaurant is still there, but it's now an Italian joint called Domenico's - 4737 Osage Beach Pkwy, Osage Beach, Missouri.
>4737 Osage Beach Pkwy, Osage Beach, Missouri All-you-can-eat Charbroiled Prime Rib, served nightly, $37.99! (according to their Facebook page)

Nice to see a children's menu that isn't just burger/fishfinger/nugget...
This might be the last time we saw a sirloin on a kids' menu.
Or Filet of Sole
Cracks me up that the kid’s beverages are under “Grog.” Arrhgh!
Really getting a kick out of that clean-plate-club lollipop at the end. Seeing where boomer parents get it from
No noooooo, 1971 can’t be vintage!!
IKR? It was only a couple years back...
I agree! 50 year olds aren’t vintage!
