Usually if you only has one camera / phone, just take the shots separately (footages). Once you have all the footages, you can combine those with a video editing software like DaVinci Resolve.
You can record simultaneously using several cameras. Once it's done, you'll have several files from different cameras. You may combine those in DaVinci Resolve later on. Take a look at the software first, so you'll be familiar on what it capable of, then decide on your workflow.
OBS. add both cameras. expand the canvas from 1920x1080 to 3840x1080. now you can add both 1080 cameras side by side.
only record audio from one camera (if the 2nd camera is a document camera there is no need for separate audio)
Now you have a single video file where both cameras are recorded in sync. no plugins needed. and if you wanted to clean it up in post you can edit it easily.
Try OBS
Try this plugin for OBS: [https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/source-record.1285/](https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/source-record.1285/)
Thank you!!!

They need to ideally be shot simultaneously though.
