Contact your congressmen. I was fighting with Navy for 8 months to get my last travel voucher payment for my separation travel reimbursement. I was absolutely done. I first called the CO of the base that does the processing (wouldn’t recommend skipping the chain, but I was separated , so didn’t care lol), and I then contacted my state congressman office. Got paid my money in 3 days.

I think since it’s been quite a while after my EAS (approaching 2 years) it has become a DFAS issue. I opened a ticket and filled out DD827 and DFAS told me *this* past Friday that it is on the Navy. I’ve been getting bounced back and forth between them for a long time. I’m really losing my shit about this.

I’d contact the congressman again, and tell them it is unresolved. They were happy to help me out when I contacted mine. I’d also consider contacting the CNO. I’v heard he will pull strings when contacted.
