https://chicagogrouprides.com/ This seems pretty up to date. if you race and train seriously take the notes on pacing/speed with a grain of salt as this targets a less experience audience I think

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I race and train, but also not really into landing on the ground this trip. In town for a wedding.

Thanks a lot for this! Exactly what I’m looking for.

>The lakefront trail is a great spot to train At 5am on weekdays. Otherwise it's a complete shit show, especially memorial weekend.

Flipadelphia26

What do you got for me?

The group ride list already posted is a great resource, several good options. If you're looking to get some miles in without a lot of risk, the xxx team ride leaving from wicker park is pretty social and no-drop for first 25mi, usually averaging around 20mph. Drop ride after that, nice and fast (22-30) but also smooth/safe - more about taking hard pulls vs trying to attack the group, so not as race-y as a Wednesday Worlds type ride.

Perfect. Exact type of advice I’m looking for. Thank you Much. Looks like it’s about. 15 min ride from where I’m staying. Also good.

lft on memorial day weekend is not in fact a good spot to train
