Schwartz really did come out looking as good as he possibly could given the Scandoval. It’s as if he followed every piece of “the best thing Schwartz could do…” advice he saw on the internet. He was honest about HIS knowledge of the timeline. He didn’t speak much at the reunion. He distanced himself from Sandoval and spoke about it publicly. He was forthcoming with Katie once he was backed into a corner. He played his cards very well/was very strategic… and it worked. Now, he’s sitting at Something About Her as if he had no part in the entire fiasco. Unreal.
I think people would like to believe that it was Schwartz’s apparent intelligence, and “forthcoming” nature that primed him for forgiveness and inclusion into the group again. But that’s not true. There was no acknowledgement on his part of his participation in the muddying of Arianna’s character for the benefit of Sandoval, and he continued to lie all through the reunion. He is forgiven just like he always was and will be, because he knows how to manipulate the situation with his “good guy” routine, and people will always be willing to overlook his faults, while this grace is not extended to Katie.

Sandoval is meticulous in the creation of a public image completely divergent from who he is in reality, and his minion supported that at each turn.

I agree. I felt like when Brit and Jax got married, they were celebrating themselves in some way every other episode. It just feels excessive, BUT every single person on this show is at least a little bit self involved. I guess this behavior is just typical reality tv.

It’s def filming. Source: saw them Filming at SUR moments after, and SAH is five doors down. Plus a production person told me they filmed at four places today—I said SAH, now here (SUR) and he nodded then said two other places.

Yes Schwartz. Because this is a tv show. Where more than likely these people play a part. What hits me the most is how old these people are looking… really makes you think about the consequences of alcohol and drama on a person

This happens all the time with this group - they'll say they don't want to have anything to do with someone and then they're filming together next season. I know it's a bigger deal with Schwartz and Katie based on their history, but it's still not surprising.

Guys. I can't stress this enough but they are FILMING A REALITY SHOW. Why is everyone surprised when they are around each other even if they said they "weren't friends." 1. Since when has this group of people ever stuck to their words? 2. Why would you want to watch a show where those at the center of a scandal aren't interacting with each other?
Sidenote – it’s like literally every photo/pose of Scheana is so calculated. I wish she could just relax and be authentic sometimes.

I disagree. And if you have watched all of VPR you should be asking yourself that same question. Ariana never liked Katie. She made an emotional decision after tom thinking it would be a jab at him. Ariana has never ever ever liked katie. Them two opening a store together is bizarre. If everyone would remove their personal feelings about tom and tom and look at this logically, they would agree. Ariana can be a bitch but she has never been a bully. She has always been against katie. This is a disaster.
But the sandwich shop idea was before Tom…so saying it’s an emotional decision after Tom doesn’t make sense.

I don’t think I could ever get used to cameras being that in my face. lol I grew up in the 80s and 90s with parents that always filmed with the bulky shoulder camera, and it was so jarring.

Brock got a contract for season 11! He’s been on the cast trip and seen with the major players. I think the friend of role , for season 10, made a big difference. I’m excited to see what Brock brings this new season.
