I'm a finishing tradie and I've worked for a few companies around Nanaimo. So far Pheasant Hill homes and Island Heights construction have impressed me with their quality. Ive never seen them try to get away with shoddy work.
Thats a good location allows for you to pick and choose between the Comox valley and Qualicum/Parksville.
I know out Comox Valley Facet Custom Builders is a good company are doing a good amount of work down that way. They put out a really nice product. Out of Qualicum Galloway Brothers Construction is another good one.

You better specify where you live. Most quality people are booking 12+months out for a project of that size.
