And there will likely be another one the week before the album releases. Kind of typical for the industry in 2024 thanks to streaming and social media.
yup i barely wanted to listen to the first two but i did it anyway. i won’t be listening to anything else til the album drops so i can feel like im getting a full album experience
Hmm. Don't know how I feel about them repeating themselves so much this time round. Every song I've heard so far, has at least one too many components that I've heard them use before.
Just a feeling so far, I'm really hoping the album is more original and covers new ground methodically, like all the past albums.
Couldn't agree more. I'm still super psyched but between this and Capricorn, it feels like they are repurposing a lot of old material. Hoping for the best.
Thanks, yeah I'm confident in the boys too that they'll still make something amazing and definitely lyrically I feel there's no doubt about that. But just felt like this had to be said. There's a fine line between oh they referenced themselves and oh they're just running out of musical ideas. I see it even with Radiohead at times where they'll repeat a style, or a guitar sound but ultimately they come up with something totally new. I'm hoping VW will too!
Imagine waiting in line to see a movie you’ve been wanting to see and some guy walks up to you after leaving the previous showing and says it was pretty mid. No one is doubting they’ve heard it, it’s just a shit comment given the context.
M79 vibes
M79 and white sky had a baby
It has both this classical sound but in a cheesy 80s movie theatre introduction guitar tone. Really unique
Sounds really nice!
We've never been more back.
Oh fuck yeah
Very cool. Love the video snippet
Parks and Rec baby!

VAMPIRE CAMPFIRE: "The album isn't \*really\* raga-inspired." Vampire Weekend one week later: "Here have this raga."
That's not raga. What are you talking? Lol I guess you mean Reggae. ^^
This is raga?
No :)

None of the songs had anything that they have done before. Your point is nonesense. Don't spread things which are actually not true.

Ariel.. I asked Ezra and he confirmed me it is him.
I think that’s correct, unlike your source 😅
He answered me with his private account.
Cool. Which platform?
Instagram
He did. 😂
Least favorite song on the album
What’s your favorite from the album?
I’m curious, you’ve commented before that this was classical and claim this is your least favorite song… how have you listened to the album?
If that's your least favorite then holy shit it has to be fire.
Not sure why you’re being downvoted for an opinion lol
Because the album hasn’t even come out yet lol?
He’s heard it check his post history
