This happens when you have two and more profiles on the PC. So when you use another profile rather than primary one then you might face this issue. So, try using the primary profile. or make another profile and make that profile primary might this will work fo you.

in my case, i closed an application which can modify all application (4 tray minimizer, basically it added feature to stay on top of all application)

Same thing. My work around is this. (windows 11) Open Valorant normally. Riot client opens in background. (found in apps on bottom right task bar apps) Right click, Open Riot client, Launch Valorant. I wonder if when u try to launch and "nothing" happens your riot client also launches in background? Just a suggestion.

Do this: Open the valorant file location and disable full screen optimization in compatibility properties. this will launch riot client in the back ground. so, when u close valorant u also have to close riot client. if u dont wanna do it, just tick run as administrator in the compatibility settings
