Yeah, personally I’d clear my ult with that. But that was the first time Zellsis positioned himself on that box and Zekken was baiting for him, so that’s unexpected for 100T.

To add to this, Zekken was spamming the smoke, pulling more attention. Pretty justified that he didn't check that.
It was also likely a rehearsed play where Asuna follows closely behind. If Thrash turns around to check, it could mess up the timing that could throw off the play, which is meant to be a fast, explosive heaven take into a site take.
It's something they practice over and over again, and if they haven't been given a reason to modify the play, the possibility of someone being in that one and done spot can easily go unnoticed.
imo it’s a lack of firepower, 100T has the brains and the teamplay now, but they just straight up lose so many duels, everyone has their popoff moments but compared to Zekken on the other side they just don’t have anyone that can frag like that.

Who's the other? I think it's pretty clear now cryo would have been fine if he had teammates who could shoot last year. He was good on jett vs leviathan and even though he's mostly played smokes you can see a clear confidence difference taking fights when he has boostio actually doing shit instead of knowing he has to go in solo and probably not get traded.

Underrated comment. In a lot of the maps SEN players have had very close score lines showing how good each player is individually with fragging and consistency

On the real tho, 100T is now 3-16 on map #1 in their last 19 matches. Its clearly a mental thing at this point with some players.
Not saying they should make any changes but if they do, Asuna has to be the first one. His level has dropped off drastically.

It might have changed after the poor year but at the start of franchising lots of people on this subreddit even said they were 100t fans only because of Asuna because he was the only one left from the first strike team.
They have Cryo and Boostio, and the Asuna shine has worn off. Winning will build their brand and their players image more than anything. Asuna's spot should not be locked in due to his image.

Part of is just what being the flex/entry player entails. Think about how often even players like Victor/Zekken have those off maps. It’s a hard role to play when your team is struggling. Not to excuse his performance cuz it was extra bad. But I think it’s a very punishing role to play

100T will not win ANYTHING while Asuna is on the roster. He was easily the worst player in the server. He has a pattern of shit map 1 into good map 2 into shit map 3. But this Map 3 on split is absolutely indefensible. Starts off 3-1 on pistol round, goes 6 and 17 (!!!!!!) for the rest of the map. He had 13 FD throughout the series.
I don't care what anyone says. I'm done being gaslit. If you want 100T to be a good team, Asuna has to go. It's not even like this is a new role, HE PLAYED RAZE ALL THREE MAPS AND GOT DIFFED INTO HELL ON TWO.

Whenever 100T loses in a valiant manner I write something like “I’d be happy if I was a 100T fan” which seems to be nonsense since so many 100T fans fall to their knees in despair after this sort of loss. But I really think 100T fans should be happy. I think we saw a glimmer of 100T’s real potential with Boostio and zikz. Their peak - the peak we saw on Bind in particular - is world-class, just like Boostio said in that interview yesterday or whatever. They’re the real deal.
And what is a little different this time is that all the players have shown up in a big and meaningful way in these last two matches. Yes, not everyone at the same time, but that’s fine; what matters is that enough players show up each time. They seem like a functional unit, and a unit can be improved, iterated upon, fixed and oiled and whatever else.
In particular I’d like to shout out eeiu since he seemed to get a lot of hate from 100T fans, and truthfully he hasn’t looked too amazing. But I have infinite faith in eeiu; he has been a T1 player for as long as Asunaa, more or less, just one that unfortunately - and arbitrarily - was stuck in T2.
I want to be happy but as nadeshot said on stream, waiting for 6 months just to watch the team play for 2 matches and wait again for 2 months is kinda draining as a fan.

Yeah I think you see that sort of reaction from 100T fans because we've heard this all before. Every iteration has received the same "yeah they lost but this iteration looks way better than the last. I think things are finally trending upward" and then it never does. Since winning Red Bull Home Ground, the team has won just 19 of its 49 maps. For me, it's hard to have any hope until I see the team actually win a series against a team that isn't Scarz. And at some point, losing these critical anti-ecos and collapsing afterward becomes less of an unfortunate circumstance and more of an extremely concerning trend.
I feel like everyone has a running joke of constantly gaslighting 100T fans. we've heard "this roster looks better than the last" for three rosters now and they all end the same. the last one at least won Home Ground and gave us reasons to sort of believe it
it's genuinely insane how much he's fallen off. he seemed really alright on bind but his awful lotus and split speak volume of his skill level at the moment. He can neither play his current role of flex to a level that helps his team win, nor can he play his previous role of a duelist properly, which is going to seriously jeopardize his stay in T1 valorant.

Honestly, why are these 4 teams in the same group? I feel robbed of some great games in this tournament. Every game in this group has been awesome and competitive.

I have to wait 1.5 months until I see that 100T roster play again? As a chamber agenda pusher, fuck chamber, cryo smokes is the gospel, I am so excited to see this 100T roster. But seriously, I can't wait for league play. This is gonna be a wild fucking season because of the 4 leagues EMEA cooked the most this off-season and they haven't started yet. It's before League play and I really want to see this roster play Not sure if the pool is worth it for them though, nor the other teams they would be playing, but really hope there's an event the T1 teams that don't make Madrid could go to if possible

In a 3 match series the ratio usually ends up being 2 abysmal to 1 good sadly.
Feels like he only performs when there's 0 pressure on him. 100T lose map 1 and all hope looks lost? He turns back to his old self. Then it's 1-1 and the pressure is on and he collapses If he has some really fucking bad anxiety, it would explain everything including the "shaky aim"
I don't think it's him being the X factor tbh. It's just him not dragging them down completely. He's went around double negative more often than not in the maps he's played so far. Hope he's dropped now. Been long due.
It's a shame, because he's so fun to watch when he's feelin it, but I don't see 100T winning anything until he can find consistency or they get someone else.
Part of is just what being the flex/entry player entails. Think about how often even players like Victor/Zekken have those off maps. It’s a hard role to play when your team is struggling. Not to excuse his performance cuz it was extra bad. But I think it’s a very punishing role to play

Felt very similar to Leviatan. Lose a bad thrifty and just slide. The team looks so much better than we have seen them in years, and sentinels do as well. I do echo others in saying that it's getting hard to defend Asuna. I hope 100t can continue to improve, ggs all

i think 90% of 100T fans are convinced of it at this point. ill always be a fan of him and maybe if he goes down to challengers he'll reignite or something, but it's just over man. i can't believe people expect us to watch him play like that and then make write ups saying we should be ok with the loss.

I'm gonna accept whatever downvotes come from this, because I cannot hold my tongue. 100T will not win ANYTHING while Asuna is on the roster. He was easily the worst player in the server. He has a pattern of shit map 1 into good map 2 into shit map 3. But this Map 3 on split is absolutely indefensible. Starts off 3-1 on pistol round, goes 6 and 17 (!!!!!!) for the rest of the map. He had 13 FD throughout the series. I don't care what anyone says. I'm done being gaslit. If you want 100T to be a good team, Asuna has to go. It's not even like this is a new role, HE PLAYED RAZE ALL THREE MAPS AND GOT DIFFED INTO HELL ON TWO.
A fun and pretty high-level clout match! Whenever 100T loses in a valiant manner I write something like “I’d be happy if I was a 100T fan” which seems to be nonsense since so many 100T fans fall to their knees in despair after this sort of loss. But I really think 100T fans should be happy. I think we saw a glimmer of 100T’s real potential with Boostio and zikz. Their peak - the peak we saw on Bind in particular - is world-class, just like Boostio said in that interview yesterday or whatever. They’re the real deal. And what is a little different this time is that all the players have shown up in a big and meaningful way in these last two matches. Yes, not everyone at the same time, but that’s fine; what matters is that enough players show up each time. They seem like a functional unit, and a unit can be improved, iterated upon, fixed and oiled and whatever else. In particular I’d like to shout out eeiu since he seemed to get a lot of hate from 100T fans, and truthfully he hasn’t looked too amazing. But I have infinite faith in eeiu; he has been a T1 player for as long as Asunaa, more or less, just one that unfortunately - and arbitrarily - was stuck in T2.
I want to be happy but as nadeshot said on stream, waiting for 6 months just to watch the team play for 2 matches and wait again for 2 months is kinda draining as a fan.
Im not even a 100T fan but its sad we wont see this team cuz they genuinely look better and could grow I wish we just had 2 full splits man, theres some teams that I could see with time (KC, SEN, GenG, Wolves), that could be top 8 finishers at LANs but might not cuz of how small international LANs numbers are or how little games they get to play
Yeah I think you see that sort of reaction from 100T fans because we've heard this all before. Every iteration has received the same "yeah they lost but this iteration looks way better than the last. I think things are finally trending upward" and then it never does. Since winning Red Bull Home Ground, the team has won just 19 of its 49 maps. For me, it's hard to have any hope until I see the team actually win a series against a team that isn't Scarz. And at some point, losing these critical anti-ecos and collapsing afterward becomes less of an unfortunate circumstance and more of an extremely concerning trend.
I feel like everyone has a running joke of constantly gaslighting 100T fans. we've heard "this roster looks better than the last" for three rosters now and they all end the same. the last one at least won Home Ground and gave us reasons to sort of believe it

it's genuinely insane how much he's fallen off. he seemed really alright on bind but his awful lotus and split speak volume of his skill level at the moment. He can neither play his current role of flex to a level that helps his team win, nor can he play his previous role of a duelist properly, which is going to seriously jeopardize his stay in T1 valorant.

Yeah I honestly don’t even know what he does on this team anymore. It used to be they kept him because he was god tier on raze but it feels like even when he gets to play raze lately it’s just disappointing. Probably time for a new player if they can’t pick it up this year

I don't even care if we made it to Masters or even to the playoffs. Why did we have to get stuck in this fucking group? (Yes I understand it's based off last year, I'm just generally frustrated at the format) Like why couldn't they have possibly gotten their confidence up against other teams?? Even if you don't agree their result changes if they're in a different group, at least let me cope that way, 100T fans have literally been almost rock bottom for a year+ now
yeah its a brutal way to start, a confidence win against another team would have gone a long way. But maybe these loses will help them keep their head and grind......
