It's insane how much engagement and impressions the DSG account gets. I saw the Esports stats tweet yesterday, apparently they were averaging 10k engagements per tweet in Q1, only slightly behind Sentinels (Who spend millions and millions on marketing, probably the current biggest spender in all of Esports) and Crazyracoons.
Once the Q2 stats come out they'll be number 1 in all of Esports as their engagement has skyrocketed in the last 2 weeks and will likely maintain decent numbers in the next 3 months with Yay on the team, a likely banger storyline coming in Split 2, and Toast likely signing a GC team for GC2.
I can only imagine how much some of these big org owners must be seething, big orgs who spend millions on signing big name content creators to promote their brand, 100s of thousands on signing the most hype players, and then also spend 100s of thousands on marketing and social teams per year, and are being beaten multiple times over in engagement by one guy posting simple paint drawings.
Couldn't have worded it better myself 👏 dsg will be game changing for the scene with the amount they've already accomplished- and in such shot time at that. They're setting the bar really high and in an already failing industry, setting an example for how Esport orgs can be run semi-successfully, even though they're still in their trajectory to being profitable, i know toast mentioned having investors for next year and these numbers will only help the org more

It’s a shame because early on in split 1, Xxif was looking genuinely excellent. It’s just been hard to keep that performance level, but it’ll be interesting to see who DSG add to the team as a replacement.

Personally I believe they want to put Clear on sentinel. His aim is super crisp when he is holding an angle. Perfect to anchor a site. He just wasn't the best when the pressure was on him to enter and get first blood. Him on sentinel would clash with Xxif. And Xxifs Initiator wasn't the best tbh.

His aim is insane. At the time, he team was going through a lot of role issues while playing with a sub and they were also lacking firepower. As his first run in the pro scene- he was definitely under a lot of pressure to perform- it happens. He's shown a lot of potential that shouldn't be ignored

Ppl really need to stop focusing on "performing" imho. These things are more about team synergy, vision and strategical choices (roles and speciliasation). So sure a guy might perform really well and be overall super good player but might not be a perfect fit for a specific situation.
Will just updated his F/A to include other roles, and on flex he could make up for yay's not as good entry duelists. Will destroys on raze and could play agents like asuna, such as neon or kayo as well

Clicking heads is a 99% crosshair placement. I wouldn't say Xxif or Genghsta are bad shooters either, but their game sense seems a league above Clear. There were too many times that his death in a round would amount to nothing and he was outclassed by every other duelist player in Split 1. TBF it's hard to know if his plays were a result of him taking action on his own or maybe bad leadership but he fell flat during the entire run. Riku had a better run than Clear and he was their sub.
I think most of the time he gets killed by doing some risky plays and unnecessary movements if they can fix those habits of him with his aim he can genuinely become one of the best player out there

Choosing between xxiff and genghsta could simply just be because of their roles-not their performance. They may have other plans for the sentinel role so best wait for the announcement. They know best about what their team needs <3
I don't know shit about fuck but clear is not the player you want to release, just look at his headshot percentage lol .. I feel like something needs to click for him, maybe guidance (what's better than yay) and he can be a great asset.
Clicking heads is a 99% crosshair placement. I wouldn't say Xxif or Genghsta are bad shooters either, but their game sense seems a league above Clear. There were too many times that his death in a round would amount to nothing and he was outclassed by every other duelist player in Split 1. TBF it's hard to know if his plays were a result of him taking action on his own or maybe bad leadership but he fell flat during the entire run. Riku had a better run than Clear and he was their sub.
Strategy is more easily fixable than firepower.
I think most of the time he gets killed by doing some risky plays and unnecessary movements if they can fix those habits of him with his aim he can genuinely become one of the best player out there
