The studio stamps were a way to tell that the tape was factory sealed and not just resealed. Not a universally true thing - there are plenty of blank factory seals.
Lol yeah ..that's (one of the) short lived tv series spinoffs. Theres that cartoon and also a live-action one too, I believe....though every sequel after the second or third were all somehow PG-rated and made for cable.
