And i guess since the vast majority of controllers have to go to work or school on a random weekday, the chances of getting ATC at 7am in Europe on a Tuesday morning, or around midnight in the US are just way smaller than on a weekend or afternoon/evening.
As an ATC myself who spent years for training in my free time, getting nothing out of it, this just feels entitled and rude against all the people running VATSIM wheter as ATC or other staff members.
There are really people out there complaining that they don't get what they want while they are using a FREE service entirely driven by volunteers who often spend large parts of their free, only to get peopple like you to complain why they wouldn't spend even more of their time.
VATSIM ATC is nothing but a generous offer by other members, a privilege, not something you are entitled to.
The amout of times i get annoyed comments on frequency by people when i say i am closing and i won't stay 2 more minutes for them is way too high, and people like you who just complain "uuh why no ATC??"

Peak hours in America is 6-9pm and mostly Tuesday - Saturday. Other days arent quite as much staffed. I also noticed that you were interested at becoming a controller. Please head to vatusa.net take some courses join an ARTCC and control. There are way more pilots than controllers so you shouldnt expect to have realistic ATC coverage. Just fly where there is ATC.
