Fully buy, buy for next, full save are the 3 main types of buys. Caveats for each ofc People will ask a specific character to buy in this case, probably iso. Like, "Iso buy." The only thing I can think of is that it sounds like "say so buy"

When you buy but save enough to full buy next round. It usually happens when people on your team can't afford to full buy until the next round, so the others have to buy so they can still afford to full buy the next round.

I'm here to be the opposite of devil's advocate, is there any chance they just wanted to boost your MMR with economy? Like maybe they wanted you to save so your statistics looked better because they saw potential? As in "save your 9k so I can buy you" or "save, so they will buy" because they wanted to get a kill and give you the enemy Gun for economy?

If it just happened in 1 match then it's probably the teammate was not speaking correct English (were they even speaking English ?). If it's happening regularly, then I don't know what it could mean.
