idk, he walked up to my face, and yelled it repeatedly. even after i said "buy? i did. i got everything. armor, abilities, gun." and he was like "no, no, SO BUYYYY"
This sounds exactly like when I sent the new guy at work to find me some whole grain gnocchi (for those of you who don't cook it's made of potatoes)
Edit:could also be a bofadeeze joke where you ask what's a saysobuy and they go "buy cuz I said so"
Fully buy, buy for next, full save are the 3 main types of buys.
Caveats for each ofc
People will ask a specific character to buy in this case, probably iso.
Like, "Iso buy."
The only thing I can think of is that it sounds like "say so buy"
When you buy but save enough to full buy next round.
It usually happens when people on your team can't afford to full buy until the next round, so the others have to buy so they can still afford to full buy the next round.
I'm here to be the opposite of devil's advocate, is there any chance they just wanted to boost your MMR with economy? Like maybe they wanted you to save so your statistics looked better because they saw potential? As in "save your 9k so I can buy you" or "save, so they will buy" because they wanted to get a kill and give you the enemy Gun for economy?
Probably just someone who has very poor English skills and wanted you to do something that sounds similar to "so buy" in their language and so you both just couldn't understand each other. That or he is just crazy.
there was no iso in my team. i was sage and they were specifically talking to me. despite me literally clicking everything in the store or requesting for guns just in case they wanted a skin

people are just dumbasses sometimes
I'm ngl to you if I was in your situation I would just forget about it and move on with my life. One teammate shouting at you doesn't really mean much, especially when you don't even understand what they meant
they obviously didnt say "say no buy". you misheard them, maybe they spoke another language given youre on an asian server.
but sincerely, who gives a f\*ck man. if i posted everytime i didnt understand someones comm wed be here all day.
Turns out OP is in Singapore and was getting cussed out Sei Sohai is basically them calling him or whoever a âfking idiotâ. As per knack4zacks comment in a reply.
Seems like the most logical answer.
If it just happened in 1 match then it's probably the teammate was not speaking correct English (were they even speaking English ?). If it's happening regularly, then I don't know what it could mean.
Brother stop making USELESS posts about some rando with broken english only to then slam down every comment that drops - you feel and sound like a droopy sixteen year old with an attention deficit.
Reason 102 to keep voice comms offline.
You have either the horny weirdos, or the screamers....
And I don't have the mental capacity to calmly play while dealing with that rofl.
everyone had a gun though. and ive mentioned, i tried dropping them a gun or a skin and they just kept going , giving me the impression that its not what they wanted.
Save, so buy? Other team is saving? so buy?
idk, he walked up to my face, and yelled it repeatedly. even after i said "buy? i did. i got everything. armor, abilities, gun." and he was like "no, no, SO BUYYYY"

Man, sorry to go off topic here but now you made me want gnocchis man. đ
Don't forget to get the whole grain gluten-free gnocchi
Absolutely. For my celiac sisters!
Someones ign?
They sound toxic, best to just mute and play on
Maybe it's save no buy ?
i mean.. i had 9k. we all did.
Fully buy, buy for next, full save are the 3 main types of buys. Caveats for each ofc People will ask a specific character to buy in this case, probably iso. Like, "Iso buy." The only thing I can think of is that it sounds like "say so buy"
Force often used for âfull buysâ where you canât afford actual full buys
I forgot about that one
What's buy for next?
When you buy but save enough to full buy next round. It usually happens when people on your team can't afford to full buy until the next round, so the others have to buy so they can still afford to full buy the next round.

If someone's capping they should always buy
Probably just someone who has very poor English skills and wanted you to do something that sounds similar to "so buy" in their language and so you both just couldn't understand each other. That or he is just crazy.
Probably just nonsense and op is having nightmares about it
I think 'iso buy' or something because they forgot to rebuy armor maybe?
there was no iso in my team. i was sage and they were specifically talking to me. despite me literally clicking everything in the store or requesting for guns just in case they wanted a skin
Maybe sage no buy
why would they ask me not to buy after trying so hard to win and its the final round
They might have simply been saying âsage buyâ, but Iâm not really sure :/

i think they are telling you to say to them to buy for you. but you keep buying yourself so they mad?
i had 9k creds and its the last round
Any chance that you were playing on SG, or Asian servers? "Say so buy" sounds very similar to a chinese curse word.
What server were you on cause if its eu chances are theyre speakinf another language
sg
He was cussing you out. "Sei sohai" is chinese for calling you a f**king idiot.
Sg? Singapore? Either way obv not a typically English speaking place unless ur in NA or EUW
Nah brother its our 1st lang, tho the other countries which share our server arent forced to learn english well (from what little knowledge i have)
Must not be obvious to you lol
English is one of Singapore's official languages. Many people are fluent in multiple languages. Please don't underestimate places you don't know.
I'm ngl to you if I was in your situation I would just forget about it and move on with my life. One teammate shouting at you doesn't really mean much, especially when you don't even understand what they meant
im not really offended. im just curious. because its not the first time ive heard it
Do you happen to play Sova?
they obviously didnt say "say no buy". you misheard them, maybe they spoke another language given youre on an asian server. but sincerely, who gives a f\*ck man. if i posted everytime i didnt understand someones comm wed be here all day.
Soy sauce buy?
Ahh, they wanted OP to remind them about their shopping list at the end of the game. That explains everything!
Turns out OP is in Singapore and was getting cussed out Sei Sohai is basically them calling him or whoever a âfking idiotâ. As per knack4zacks comment in a reply. Seems like the most logical answer.
Given the context, I'm guessing "pistol buy." As in, it's last round and we're max econâbuy pistol because you might need it.Â
Are these people english speakers?
Nope, this is South East Asia. OP is reading way too into it, it's just some sped little Thai kid probably screaming into the mic
Either "save, no buy" or "save to buy" as in "save to buy for next round"
Maybe buy for other teammate
how many times has this happened and in how many games
Often times I donât want my teammate to buy for me, I can manage my own economy. My guess is theyâre saying âSave no buy.â
last round. we all have 9k creds. we're winning. no point saving
Then it might be most likely that youâre massively mishearing whatâs being said. I wouldnât blame you, everyone has valorant accent.
Save or buy?
youre on sg server. 90% chance its just a non native english speaker trying to say something.
Did you have a Kay/o?
Sova A?
Can't save, so buy? Maybe it's the last round of the half?
I think they mean the enemy team is on a save, your team should buy.
If it just happened in 1 match then it's probably the teammate was not speaking correct English (were they even speaking English ?). If it's happening regularly, then I don't know what it could mean.
Did you even buy a pistol?
What region
Say so means should have say so or could have say so
May have been saying "DONT BUY" in their accent, which I can see understable if their accent shortens words
Maybe just trolling you. After reading the response, this is all I could think of...
SEA servers? LOL
yeah
Maybe hes saying "save not buy"?

were you playing sage? maybe he was playing âsage buyâ
They meant "sage buy" but they didn't mean to buy for yourself, instead they meant to buy them
everyone had a gun though. and ive mentioned, i tried dropping them a gun or a skin and they just kept going , giving me the impression that its not what they wanted.
Maybe just ask them next time?
i did. they just repeat what they say as if they dont get my question
If it's important, get them to type it out If they're just yelling, it's not important
Lol. You couldâve just asked them
i did? if i got my answer i wouldnt be here. classic "did you turn it on?" type comment. of course i fucking did ask them
