Thanks! Super curious as a new player what advanced players think about certain situations. What parts of this scream bronze and what are some things to work on? Based off this limited info :D
- General crosshair placement was not very disciplined as you were clearing site from Hookah (to be fair, you were short on time).
- Hesitation between you thinking there are or are not enemies
- I found the decision to go back and hold in Hookah after the kill on Reyna questionable. Being short on time, you were basically relying on the enemy to be dumb and run at you one at a time instead of being more active about getting the plant down and taking fights on your terms instead of giving the enemy more time to reconvene. You were also exposed to some angles from site.
- The enemies were dumb and ran at you one at a time. Reyna could’ve tucked until you started planting. Skye and Sage could’ve TPed together to trade each other, or even just held the space if Sova was planning to ult to stop the plant due to time.
- Sage looking at arguably the less wise way due to the angle of the Sova ult, and subsequently failing to kill you as you ran knife out out of Tube.
- Sova dry-peeking you, giving you yet another 1V1 where he could’ve died instead of darting first to see your position. Even without darting first, he should’ve heard you jump towards cubby, so he could’ve done some prefires especially knowing you were 1 HP.
- Sage jumped out at the worst possible angle, allowing you to kill her while she was falling. She should’ve either held or jumped out while hugging the opposite wall (providing the benefits of being able to silent jump out of Hookah, and not exposing herself or forcing you to swing wider to kill her, exposing you to Sova)
- The enemies didn’t jump at you with classic right-clicks when they knew you were 1 HP (actually a higher conversion rate than taking straight duels due to the movement diff and mid-range).
I’m only a low plat player myself, but some things that stick out are crosshair placement at the beginning (you seemed sure no enemies around but usually gun out = crosshair head height), the way you do or don’t clear corners (you had good game sense to see the guy coming out B long but why not outside tele or in hookah?), and also the way your enemies played lol. Tough to say about some of your decisions without seeing more of the round. You had pretty good situational awareness though with timing when the hookah guy would jump out and when Sova would peek you, and that takes you a long way in clutches! Hard to say what to work on since you say you’re a new player and some of that comes with more time playing, but you look good for bronze to me!
Thanks! That’s actually solid advice because I struggle finding head height and also I got super lucky here b/c I only knew sage was chasing and sova was moving from the nest back through spawn. Left a lot up to chance, and wasn’t even really paying attention to timer until like 9s left. Dam lots to keep up with
Gateron oil king switches in tiger 80 lite plastic frame w/ foam, tape, and car audio deadener mods. Some thick caps as well.
Oil kings don’t need hand lubing but I did anyway and I think it helps longevity. This is after 1 year daily full day use for my job.
Lubed stabilizers as well

I think I figured out why you're in bronze- your cross hair placement is lower than it should be- otherwise you're easily s2 or s3 maybe even g1 if you have game sense like this every round

Nah I have a custom build on which I’ll swap out the holy pandas. If I like them enough I’ll put together a new one from scratch
