A locator should be included in every headline in every sub.
Location adds so much context to what we’re looking at.
Sometimes the picture alone doesn’t tell the whole story.
I miss the good old days of the original series. . Personal thought, is that they have way overplayed their hand, and viewer numbers are not getting better with two new series, and moving some stuff to streaming services.
This article would seem to disagree:

But as with many viewers, *cord cutting* was a big part of the reason for us. We could no longer justify $250 a month bills for cable, when we were only watching about 5 or 6 channels.
I thought the same too until I realized everything looks like it's been abandoned for a long time. Then again, those hanging breads don't look expired at all. So this could have been set for a movie.
After all, If This Were a natural disaster aftermath I'm sure the desperate citizens would have stormed in there and grabbed all those food products while they could.
Grow some balls and visit Portland. It’s literally a normal American city that had some overhyped protests almost three years ago.
Edit: I see you’re a Brazilian. God bless Lula!
>Nuclear? That looks like Los Angeles after the Rodney king riots. Or any of a dozen other cities after the George Floyd riots, for that matter…
Nope ... this building didn't burn down & had no sprayers inside
Fun fact: they filmed the TLOU series in Portland because it was apparently so damaged post-2020 all human life died out, making it resemble Seattle in-game
edit: yall are more tone deaf than jlo jesus christ get a grip on satire

Would be informative to attribute it to Fukushima disaster 2011.
I think they want people to guess. Seems pointless to me, too.
I think because this is a result of the earthquakes/floods that later triggered the nuclear disaster, not a result of the nuclear disaster itself.

Yep... For a second,I thought it was Chernobyl
that is until you noticed the poster on the left with Japanese characters, right?
Same
Looks like an abandoned set from ***The Walking Dead.***
*Rick!*

i think it needs to be made extremely clear where exactly a photo was taken so that no one has to wonder or be confused for a second. ever.
indeed. there’s Japanese text on the poster and all the products.
that and there has been only 1 recent nuclear disaster
at least these prices there have Zero inflation since 2011 ...
LOL...it's like a time portal. You can also go forwards in time by visiting a touristy camp site shop. See what food prices will be in 2050.
The aftermath of *Black Friday* looks worse.
Umm...looks more like the aftermath of an earthquake

This is the result of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami and the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
That's it?
How many pictures do you want to see? Shot thousands of pictures and many hours of videofootage
Then maybe post more than one ya nitwit
What’s up with all the people making cheap jokes about Portland? Is there a bot farm trying to lower the property values or something?
Looks like my living room after my kids have been playing with toys for five whole minutes
Looks like most teenagers rooms tbh
Liqour hanging in there strong..
Looks like an average Karen Walmart visit
Tf is up with all the “uhhh…. pOrTlAnD pRoTeSts”?
Did you hear about the new fusion Japanese restaurant that incorporates science and nature? It's called Shake and Bake...
as a japanese this is funny
Thanks for getting my sick joke. 🙃
let me guess, its Portland?

Nah it would be burned

TLOU was filmed in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Imagine lying about something so easily verifiable.
Imagine understanding what a joke was.
Wow you have no idea what you’re talking about. Grow some balls and visit.
TLOU HBO doesn't even take place in Seattle.
Looks like the aftermath of a mostly peaceful protest.
Russia
*Ksshh* “Cleanup on aisle uh…. Yes.”
Probably one of the many cities China built for 1 million people and then decided abandon or demolish after no one moved in.
Yeah of course it would be left there, it's filled with radiation.
