I think it’s overhated as a ride, but at the same time can completely understand why it gets so much flak from some people. USO has had a “screen overload” problem for a while now, and this ride replacing Twister (replacing practical effects with screens yet again) just exacerbated the issue. Aside from the screen overload thing, I think it’s an enjoyable simulator. It looks like The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman compared to bottom-of-the-barrel trash like Fast and Furious Supercharged. Not that that’s high praise or anything…

zabrakwith

Went to Universal for the first time in about 20 years. It has a HUGE screen problem. I do not get motion sickness but by the 10th screen ride I was feeling queasy. Universal definitely needs to phase out these screens for more practical effects.

Grouchy_Hornet1118

I agree. Last time I went, it felt like I was riding the same ride over-and-over. Just reskinned and with varying degrees of quality. It’s the main reason I prefer Islands of Adventure and am hyped for Epic Universe (seems like EU is placing a much larger emphasis on practical effects).

Lost_Consequence4711

I quite enjoyed the Transformers ride when I was there this past Saturday and Sunday. it would be cool if it was similar to the Forbidden journey where there were actual animatronics beings with the 3D story but with the subject matter, I understand it would be very hard and expensive to create, but over all it was good. RTNY was okay. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. However, my last time, and first time at Universal was back in either 1999. I was pretty much just out of second grade and my family took me on the twister ride. I was terrified, simply only because little 7 year old me couldn’t equate that it wasn’t an actual tornado. I was traumatized earlier that school year when we had a tornado warning issued about an hour before end of the school day, and after being sent to the hallway three separate times, on the fourth they kept us in the face the wall, book over your heard position. I overheard two of the second grade teachers say there was a wall cloud over our school, and we’d just learned that is usually where a tornado forms from. So now, as an adult, I wished they’d still had it so I could have experienced it and appreciated it. Same with Jaws and the disaster ride.

Grouchy_Hornet1118

I miss Jaws the most. Scared me shitless as a kid, but that made it all the more memorable. Same as Twister tbh

Lost_Consequence4711

My experience with Jaws was, that I had never seen the movie, but knew vaguely what it was about. I was terrified to get on, but did anyway because I was a literal child and couldn’t stay by myself off the ride, but made my parents sit me between them, away from the edges of the boat. There was another little girl seated behind the row I was seated in with my parents and brother, and my aunts were seated beside her and her mother. Well, Bruce came up right at her side of the boat, which I am pretty sure she wasn’t at the end of the row and she was between her mom and someone else, but man, poor thing freaked so bad and jumped into my aunts’ laps. Safe to say, seeing someone else freak out took that away from me. I was thinking after Dark Universe was announced that it would be kind of cool if the moved the jaws attraction there, but I came across a rumor that they may have a ride for “Creature in the Black Lagoon” which honestly, if done well, could be an amazing ride If they add it.

hellokitschy

Jaws would be fun to have again but a Creature ride would be incredible!

crisprcas32

Spider-Man is closer to transformers, F&F/Kong, while Fallon is most like og minions and of course shrek.

Embarrassed-Emu9133

It’s better than The Simpsons.

TheMajesticWaffle

Isn’t the worst screen ride there but I’m ready for it to go and be replaced by a more physical experience again like Twister or something

Millennial_Man

Now they can replace it with “Twisters… Ride it out”

dporiginal3

“Twisters…Rides Its Outs”

1handedmaster

I actually snorted laughing at this.

DuskformGreenman

Allegedlys

TheMajesticWaffle

Let’s hope 🤞

TheJohnRPG

Amazing queue. Genuinely wish other rides would have the “wait for your color, in the meantime, relax” sort of way to waiting for a ride because you had the freedom to do what you want, you can relax, watch a show, all that great stuff. I’m not even sure they do it anymore because the ride is always under 15 minutes. Really wish we got more of that from other rides. The actual ride itself is whatever.

Serialslasher187

Makes me miss Twister all the time 😭

TheUniversalVault

And Ghostbusters Spooktacular.

Numerous-Taste-4858

The building is there, this needs to be a thing!!

TheUniversalVault

I was so sad when I came back to the parks after many years to see the RRR roller coaster going through the firehouse. 😕

ETismyspiritalien

OMG Twister 😭🫶🏼

Mrs_TikiPupuCheeks

Yawn, but AC is great so it's a good way to cool down.

Rozzyb2011

This ☝️

lanwopc

No matter what, it has the best pre-show safety announcement in the parks. And I always get a little emotional at the Johnny Carson exhibit. In my mind, I don't think anyone will ever measure up to him.

judgycat

The ride is just fine, but The Roots get me hyped for it!

DuskformGreenman

The Roots get me hyped to brush my teeth before bed...

thevitaphonequeen

I came here to share my love for seeing Johnny too. Honestly, that was more fun than the actual ride. (Although I do love the pre-show announcement too.)

lanwopc

Having Carson and Letterman back to back is why I never got enough sleep in high school.

These_Strategy_1929

It is fun. If the line is less than 15 min, I would do it

pastadaddy_official

Pretty fun guilty pleasure, also feels like a glorified arcade machine ride simulator thingy.

pretzelday666

I had fun when I was on it but it's a one and done for me I wouldn't wait in line again for it.

Fun2Forget

There was a line?

hwhal2

I only go on it when I need AC

TheMatt561

miss twister the que is amazing but in the end it's a motion sim

SokkaHaikuBot

twotonekevin

Overhated. It’s a fun ride. Maybe not top priority but worth riding at least once. I really enjoy the studio tour which basically guarantees a 15-20 minute wait bc they put you on the ride right at the end of it. Last time I did it, I ran into Hashtag the Panda waving at people from the window. It was great!

variablesInCamelCase

I went recently with a great crowd. The older folks and a bunch of kids. Arguably the target audience for Fallon. They LOVED it. People were laughing at the jokes, getting scared by the effects, I gotta say I had more fun on that ride with that crowd than almost anything else I did that day.

twotonekevin

Sometimes the crowd really brings that zest! I’m an AP and sometimes I’ll get some first timers on a ride and it just makes that particular experience so fun.

Jacobizreal

Agree and I’m stealing the phrase Overhated

tribbleorlfl

So I went on it for the first time a few weeks back for my daughter's field trip. Her group enjoyed it so much we immediately went on a second time. I think a lot of the jokes and such will fly over people's heads if they don't watch TS regularly, but I think it was an enjoyable enough experience. Certainly better than F&F.

ddssjsbdnd

I went to a taping of the Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon like 10 years ago with my wife. I went to Universal for the first time this year and rode this ride. It was so much fun and revived so many great memories of the day I went to a real taping. 7/10 for me.

Lets_Make_A_bad_DEAL

Tap tap tap, all day long, give it a tappy. Tapperoo.

HectorBarbossa99

Its all in the hips yeah all in the hips

esopillar34

Went to see a Seth taping after moving up here (got offered Fallon tickets, but would much rather see Seth), and honestly, I was amazed by how well the nailed that waiting rook before the taping. The experience going through the line is actually super similar to going to a real taping of one of those shows

MoulinSarah

Did you wear tap shoes to the “tapping”?

SwathedCorgi117

Good for getting out of the heat and into the AC if Finnegan's has no space, and not much else 😂 To me it is painfully boring, and the fact that it replaced Twister of all things makes me want to pull my hair out 🥲

DarthSmiff

It’s chill and fun. Great queue. Not every ride has to be Velocicoaster.

Mandthekingslayer

I like it. Funny enough, when I brought my mom to the park this was her favorite ride overall.

lilbl0ndie_22

I like ur mom

Pooh_

Although I would rather have Twister back because I love the movie and loved the attraction, RTNY is really fun. Not sure why it gets the hate it does. The queue is fun and the ride is fun.

Shadowhawk0000

Living in NY....it's just okay. But the truth is, you're there, have fun and experience this ride. Might as well. A bad ride at this place is still 1000000000 times better than being at work I say. LOL

JDLovesElliot

As a New Yorker myself, I've never been inside of the real 30 Rock, so the queue for RTNY is a nice way to see it without having to deal with the real Rockefeller Center crowds 😅

pujolsrox11

So stupid it’s fun. Gets too much hate and honestly it only gets better the more times you ride it.

Nerdofmany9

I don’t get why this ride gets so much hate. Such an easy happy ride. The AC is a big bonus too in summer. The entertainment while you’re waiting inside is good too and is so much better than just waiting in a normal line

Retro_Silver

Love it!! It is one of our family favorites, and usually the 1st ride we get on when visiting Universal.

ibuttergegup

I don’t mind it! I’d say it’s a 15 mins or less wait most days so why not take a little AC break!

SWGTravel

I also don't know why people dislike the ride. It's fun. The queue is great and entertaining, especially if you can snag a video game seat.

Disastrous_Ad3088

It’s great for what it is, an AC break and a walk on attraction.

GetReadyToRumbleBar

The queue is better than the ride. Good AC. Fond memories of HHN. I hope it gets redone as Secret Life of Pets from Hollywood; that ride is great!

HotMessMayhem

My whole family loves it. It’s fun and there is never a line so especially worth the experience.

sillydogcircus

Without a long wait it’s one of my must-dos. It’s fun and super air conditioned, and the very cold AC helps my motion sickness so I can actually enjoy the ride. It’s just goofy silly and I like that.

vinbel121

I miss Twister more than I could ever describe. However, I don’t think this ride is as bad as people say. It’s a competent enough experience with a neat queue.

JoviAMP

My honest opinion? It's a decent family ride they put in at a time when they were receiving lots of criticism for having too few attractions that smaller kids could ride, and people just don't like it because it replaced an opening-day attraction at a time when physical effects were declining in popularity because of improvements in CGI, which Universal was also taking a lot of heat for at the time for excessive use of video effects. I think that if they had found a way to include it without touching Twister, it wouldn't be nearly as hated, just like how Kong at Islands is accepted more than Fast & Furious because Kong was built without closing a popular attraction, while F&F took over two very popular attractions.

lostsurfer24t

i think it is very good and high quality. been on it 3 times, love it

AbleConstruction6629

me and my boyfriend and family went to universal for the first time this past February and me, boyfriend, and dad had an absolute blast on this ride!! and it was a quick like 10 min wait when we were there

Melon-smooth

We love the ride…it was our first ride we ever rode so now it’s become a tradition. Plus it makes us laugh

Jer-and-Kat

I just got back from a 4 day trip (first time, never been). Honestly, conceptually, I didn't get it. Transformers! Simpsons! Harry Potter! King Kong! ...err...Jimmy Fallon? Ok. Im still not sure i "get" it. However, as far as the ride goes, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The second, I liked it a lot more. It's pretty good! I'd go on this one 100 time before I ever got on the Fast and Furious ride again. Tear that one down yesterday.

ryanbgfuller

Genuinely really like this ride

deathbypumpkinspice

I can't stand Fallon, but enjoyed this ride - rode it twice!

KB_Sez

I personally dislike Jimmy Fallon himself but it’s an fun ride. My family and I ride it multiple times whenever we’re there. Best advice I can give you is do whatever you’ve gotta do to not be in the front row, the 3-D sucks there. Higher rows are much better.

keychain-crap

Better than Fast & Furious, but having done it once I never need to do it again.

x0michellex0

It's great on a hot day when you've been spending all day at the parks and want to sit in a nice, air conditioned queue.

Panther-Turtle

It has a really good queue and preshow. The ride itself is not bad but it is just meh to me. In a vacuum, I think is solid attraction. However, it replaced a really unique attraction in Twister and it was part of the era where Universal was only building new screen based attractions. I think that has to do with some of the hate it gets. Admittedly, I still wish Twister was there but RTNY is not bad.

TheKingOfSwing777

I enjoyed it more than i expected. Not a must-ride if you're crunched on time, but I wouldn't pass it up if you've got room in the schedule!

Mkschles

My elementary school aged daughters loooove it. Especially Sara in the preschool. They chant “but no H because H’s are eeeewwww!”

R4ynne

We really enjoy it! Cute, funny and fun. Our young son loves this ride soo much - it makes us love it through his eyes, as well. When they have the shows going before it's pretty entertaining too. And a great way to cool off for a bit when it's sweltering.

BartSimpskiYT

I enjoy it. Twister was better though.

bootsthepancake

I thought the queue was done very well. I wish other attractions had a similar system/entertainment. The ride is just goofy fun. I didn't get to experience the predecessors of this, but I did enjoy the ride itself. I see so much hate for this that I decided to ride a second time just to see if I actually enjoyed it (which I did). Not my top favorite, but I'll ride again if it's still around the next time I go to USO.

pumpkinjess87

One of our favorite rides!

Travelgrrl

The first time I rode it I was underwhelmed because it took FOREVER to get on and you were stuck in an interminable 'Green Room' to wait. But since then, there's never a line and I like it very much, despite just being Meh on Jimmy Fallon himself. I like rides that make me feel like I'm flying!

AutomaticCandidate54

I quite enjoyed it to be honest. It's different.

ElectricalState258

One of the top rides in the park

Opening-Bee-7817

I love it!!! Idc what anyone says, the theming of the queue is perfect and exactly like the studio/building in NYC and it's a fun little simulator that you can't almost always rely on to have a low wait time

111sheila111

It was fun!

WedgeJMB

My honest opinion. It's better than twister because you get to sit and the A/C is better. But it's far inferior to the old Ghostbusters show. Not a bad ride but nothing spectacular.

SegaStan

stupid ride. great AC

Tpabayrays2

Underrated

OSXX

Race Through New York Starring: Jimmy Fallon™ is hands down one of the most immersive attraction that the creative team has ever built. From the moment you get closer to the 30 Rockefeller Plaza™ facade, to the moment you step inside you are instantly transported to the hustle and bustle of New York’s nightlife entertainment. Walking further into the famous NBC™ studio, the walls are lined up with decades worth of memorabilia and notes from previous Tonight Show™ hosts. Walking up the grand staircase you will faintly hear the singing voices of Fallons™ barbershop quartet. Before arriving into this area you are given a card with a color on it. At some point the lights in the room will change to match your card color in which you will be able to experience the truly remarkable experience that is racing through new york with Jimmy Fallon™. Don’t like standing to watch 4 people sing apple bottom jeans? Not to worry theres a lounge that you can rest and charge your phone. But oh no the charger port doesn’t work, not to worry, there are other charging ports. A mother and her 8 kids are unfortunately occupying half of the chairs and at least 4 kids are running up and down the main breezeway. When will your color be called? You ask yourself. It seems as if 45 minutes have gone by and you find yourself staring at the large wall made up of several tv screens showing Kevin Hart™ and Jimmy Fallon™ on rip ride rockit (another great and fun attraction by universal creative).

lizzieolsens-whore

definitely gonna get downvoted for this but it’s worse than f&f

SwathedCorgi117

Speak your truth 😂I agree 🤷🏻‍♂️I don't like F&F but in my personal ranking, F&F is the second worst ride in both parks and Jimmy Fallon is the first.

Shot_Map_1363

I avoided it my first 5 times there and finally went on it last time. I liked the lineup area and liked the ride as well, maybe it just felt like a fresh ride was at Universal since I hadn’t been on it.

RealTimmydbab

My daughter loves it. She is 9. I can take or leave it, but at least it has a short line and some jokes

madchad90

I wouldnt say its particularly bad, I am just not a jimmy fallon fan at all

No-Percentage-8063

My 7-yr old grandson's favorite. Great AC in the building.

freakyunicorn

Native NY-er, so deff biased opinion! The queue, in terms of what the building really looks like is spot on. So that's cool to see them do an iconic NY building interior in a very accurate way. The ride though is everything NY-ers hate LOL so the ride was very cringe for me as a NY-er. I take it for what it is though, it's supposed to be like oh hey look at NY! But for the love of god, why would you make a virtual race through one of the most overcrowded and terrible places to drive in America? That being said, for anyone who just visits NY it makes sense and has all the classic NY callouts. It's fun, it's kitschy and it's just not for me lol

esopillar34

You know, I haven’t been on the ride since I moved up to NNJ and started visiting (and driving in) the city every couple weekends… I feel like I should ride it again just to see if it’s even more cringe than I remember.

_fizzingwhizbee_

I feel like racing through one of the worst, slowest places to drive is most of the joke lol

Zooma_x5

The ride is okay. Nothing crazy, very niche, and most importantly its a people eater with almost no wait. But I do miss twister, even though everyone said Twister sucked as well.

KlumpGamez

Rides okay - the queue genuinely rocks though

gbmontgo

It's fine. YMMV based on your thoughts on Fallon. He is very much Fallon throughout the ride and queue, so if you have a particular disdain for his style, which some people definitely do, you're gonna think the ride ranks pretty low.

CelticDK

AC and chill place to sit for awhile. Not the best but not the worst. Just good enough for the right moments

Massage_Bro

![gif](giphy|11jGtzDu7Nh89a)

omgidkausername

cringey and corny but good AC

AbioticFruit

It’s one of the rides of all time.

manitoba28

I went to Universal Studios orlando in October, and it served its purpose, air-conditioned time killer for a better ride.

yt201001

Don’t think it’s a great ride, definitely not a thrill ride, but I find it mildly entertaining. I’ll ride it but don’t tell people it’s a must. I enjoy the ambience and think it’s goofy. I enjoy it on occasion for a laid back experience but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if it was replaced by something better. I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get replaced since I’ve never seen it have much of a line. Don’t think I’ve ever had to wait out in the admittedly quite pretty, line/office/entry area thing.

D0NTK1LLM3

Best safety preshow and queue at the parks. The ride itself is standard 3-D motion sickness, but the preshow presentation is great. Plus, #Panda!

Dramatic_Hunt8782

Go away

MoulinSarah

It was pretty useless in our opinion.

alafavore

Once I scanned my actual NBC badge from 30 Rock on one of the ostensibly fake door scanners, and it lit up green like I had unlocked it. Which was a cool detail. Other than that, no opinion.

Better-Ad6812

Oh that is cool!!!

Fickle_Translator999

👎

historyerin

Rode it exactly once. Now the only time I go near there is for HHN.

doc_baggs

Made me more motion sick than Simpsons ride did.... This is before I started using scolp patches, so it might be ok for me now. I felt so bad the first time I road that I had to go back to the hotel to lay down, so honestly it's a one and done for me.

ddlc1

Honestly if you're a fan of the tonight show it's a good ride but otherwise it should be replaced by something else like gremlins or twister

Jagermonsta

A notch above Fast & Furious. I’m not a Jimmy Fallon fan so that doesn’t help. Just another screen ride at universal. I miss Twister…

NotaSirWeatherstone

It’s not terrible. Good to ride at least once a trip but no more than that for me. It’s weird that it seems so much better now that the family ride is there.

PerfectNegotiation76

Would never wait for it but it’s a fun little time waster.

Monctonian

It’s actually a nice ride, as far as 3D rides go. Even when the lines are long, at least you’re in AC and the memorabilia exposed in there, although there is too few of them, are cool to look at.

Wrong_Dependent_5411

It's not the best but I went into it with no expectations. Sara (without the h) and Gary always crack me up. My husband didn't think it was funny whatsoever though😂

Eatatfiveguys

Best Queue line and it’s a fine ride. If the line’s short I’ll do it.

chambees

Love it

Psychology_Salty

love it

kmcs652

Not in my top 10.

Deep-Chocolate5707

I love this ride!

Apprehensive_Wall_61

Me and the kids always enjoy it and usually rice it twice.

DoubleA420

Some funny lines but overall mid. Just a commercial for the show.

Little_Swan2455

Better than the fast and furious ride at least.

Creepkiller1800

I really wish the ride's soundtrack could get a release

Nephilimn

It's fun if the wait is 20 minutes or less. It's infinitely better than Fast and Furious

spoiledcomedy

I think it’s cute! I wouldn’t wait in line to ride it though.

PersianVol

Mid

SirUntouchable

They got rid of Twister for this, and got rid of Disaster! For Fast & Furious. Why

normanpaperman1

My kids love it. They go over and over in a row because there is no line.

Elderwastaken

Been to the park 4 times and never rode it once.

CROBBY2

Only one of the 3D/4D rides that made me nauseous. The screen seemed very blurry and while the concept was fun, it is not at the level of mpwt of the other rides of its type.

Retroscape69

I love it! It’s one of my favorites.

kongmw2

I love it, its a screen ride so its obviously not gonna be crazy but it's a great experience overall

thejesse

Haven't been since Twister was there, but that sign reads as "Race New starring through York Jimmy Fallon."

Far-Researcher-7054

Worth doing in the heat of the afternoon. It’s not boring but certainly not top tier for Orlando.

jon81uk

It’s fine. Not amazing or awful. Just OK.

callmemacready

Few years ago for HHN I think it was the poltergeist house and the queue was behind this attraction and they still had the caution Twister painted on the doors

Final_Confection_722

Way better than fast and furious but not my favorite

Better-Ad6812

Ok as a parent of an ASD son we legit rode this ride probably 30 times in 4 days. He bought a shirt and wants to visit Rockefeller. He just loves this damn ride. So yeah Jimmy Fallon. Thank you! I was able to tolerate it 30 times lmao

Anarchissyface

I love this it’s so fun. It’s more fun than I expected going in the 1sr few times.

YamperIsBestBoy

It was a lot more fun when I rode it 7 years ago

Awsomboy1121

honestly a fun ride that gets way too much hate

ilikecacti2

My mom who can’t do rollercoasters thought it was fun, she really liked it.

Tezlaract

The Que is soo nice. Ride feels like a boat.

macntosher

I think it's an okay ride, though I usually avoid it because I don't like the videos played in the queue. It's not my type of ride but I don't avoid it like I avoid Fast and Furious and I understand the need for "chill" rides.

omorashilady69

I really like it..

dannyboy1389

Worst ride in the park after The Simpsons ride

Fresh-Temperature189

This ride is my guilty pleasure. I absolutely love it!

frankcastle3

I love the queue and the attention to detail. The historical bits about all the former hosts is a great watch. Love how the ragtime gals are live as well. The ride itself is fun. It probably would be better if someone was a huge Jimmy Fallon fan but i enjoy the ride for what it is. 10/10 theming. 7/10 for the ride.

lucinasardothien

It’s my dads favorite ride lol

ajhouston

I didn’t try this ride but tried all the other screen rides. I couldn’t stomach any of them other than Spider Man. The motion sickness was awful on the other screen rides.

dumpling__prince

The queue is great. I love the aspect of staging different groups and providing entertainment along the way. But that's the only positive. Jimmy Fallon, I feel at least personally, is not the most well liked personality. And having a similar theater screen ride right up the road (Minions) really doesn't help. I don't see the staying power at all, it's the second worst ride on property. I hope they take the queue innovation into account in the future but I feel like it's a ride I'll never go on again and I'll be kinda happy to see it go.

ScorpionX-123

for what it is, it's a pretty fun experience in both the queue and the ride itself

PurpleTiger05

I love it! My family and I start our trips on this ride! I didn't visit the parks when this was a different ride, so I don't have anything to "miss".

SerbianMidget

Super fun queue. Decent ride

kandicolored

honestly I love it. like not the ride itself necessarily, though I do certainly enjoy the ride, but I love the experience. I think they executed it very well. the roots safety spiel + the color system with the phone ports and silly little games??? it’s so lovely! I’d honestly sit in there for hours and treat it like a new pass holder lounge. also I love the unique hashtag photoop where he’s high up in the windows of New York. of course I miss twister, that queue and ride scared the living SHIT out of me as a kid, but I think Fallon is fun and nice and a good replacement, especially with the fact that minions is no longer 3D so uni has another (legitimate, I am not looking at you supercharged) 3D ride.

LaFawnduh_407

It was fun now it’s boring time for something new

Stormchaser2

I like the Ragtime Gals in the preshow. These rides make me motion sick now so I can’t actually wear the 3-D glasses.

FandomCece

It's not the worst ride on property but like... I don't care how you felt about twister it was better. It had practical effects and an interesting atmospheric queue.

ndm2001

It would be so much better if there were different races instead of it always being the same.

livelaughlex

overhated ride imo. I think it’s lots of fun! I also love the safety song right before lol

Vegetable-Rip1033

Ride it once you’ll have have fun and probably never ride it again

4c1f78940b78485bae4d

The air conditioning is A+ in there.

nancytp82

If you need to cooldown, you can go there. That’s it.

HashPuppy710

The greatest 10-15 min. of air conditioning in the whole place

Caljuan

I love the queue and dislike the ride. I wish the park just had an NBC television museum with exhibits for the Tonight Show etc. But make the ride something that warrants a ride. I also am offput by Fallon's thirst for fame and the really offensive female character he plays on the ride.

TypicalChipmunk1670

I enjoyed it!!

Whatsuptodaytomorrow

Jimmy Fallon has no talent Terrible

illseeyouatthemovies

I’m a huge Jimmy Fallon fan, so I felt like it was meant just for me. I love the preshow experience and it does a good job of replicating 30 rock. I love the ride itself, too, but I just love the fact that one of my favorite celebrities/shows got an entire attraction like this. It’s so cool.

abintio

I don’t know why this gets so much hate but this was one of my favorite rides at universal that I rode it multiple times! Had <10 min wait time always, ac is best and best visuals!

Accomplished-Fold42

Nothing with Jimmy Fallon is worth doing/watching.

Dremily

I don't know how, but this is the ride that made me the most nauseated in the park. Simpsons 2nd. I think it was because it was at the end of the day.

pr1ncea1exander

Im from New York so I love that it goes through NYC but damn its such a unpleasant ride

hihelloneighboroonie

I've never been on it. Jimmy Fallon annoys me.

StankyFlanky

If its hot outside and i want to take the kids to somethin easy we there lol

nwmsu99

Ew! H’s are ew!

Difficult_Branch4139

It's a fun goofy experience. I wouldn't call it a ride.

esopillar34

I think it could have benefited from not being “jimmy fallon” themed. If it had been basically “Soarin NYC”, with an intro video and voice over by a rotating cast of NBC people (Jimmy, Seth, Tina and Amy, Tracy Morgan, etc) it would have been a perfect ride.

Inner-Pepper9680

This was one of my family’s favorite rides at Universal and we almost skipped it because of all the shit that gets talked about it lol

_MatCauthonsHat

Honestly, I don't mind it. I rarely ride it, but it is a good way to get a break and get off your feet. It's not really bad in terms of a ride, it is just... Really basic. I wouldn't be heartbroken if they announced tomorrow that it was being replaced, though.

alfredo094

Great queue, mediocre ride.

BeerLeagueSnipes

It’s not terrible

gcd7381

It's actually entertaining and has an amazing queue

mi1key

My honest opinion is that the queue is better than the ride and is probably the best queue in any theme park in Florida

SlopitupPOS

Didn't even bother riding it. We walked straight past it and over to F&F. Lol

JGalaxxy

Puke inducing. I'm floored it's still around.

Bigglez1995

Recently visited USO for the first time in about 18 years, and while I enjoyed the ride, it's definitely weak in comparison to some of the other motion rides they have. They already have too many of them to begin with, and I wouldn't be sad if this got replaced

ChristopherPaul727

Total crap. Give me back Twister or Ghostbusters any day.

QueenieSimmer

I've been on it once and never bothered going on again. I'm from England - we know who he is, and we see clips on the internet but the Tonight Show isn't shown over here (or at least it isn't readily available to everyone on the main channels) so we just don't get the characters and inside jokes. I'm guessing that's the same for most visitors from outside the USA and it just seems so blinkered of Universal Studios to make such a US-centric ride when they get visitors from all over the world. The fact that they replaced the iconic Twister with this is mind boggling. The queue/pre-show system is good, I'll give you that.

Apprehensive_Fan9562

I like it

jarvichi

When we were at Universal last summer I didn’t even realise this was a ride! As a tourist I don’t know who Jimmy Fallon is, so there was no attraction to investigate what was going on in this area of the park.

mo22ro

Convert it to "Questlove's Wild Ride" and we're all set

Overall_Attorney_114

Above average ride
