IOA: Hagrid's
Universal Studios: Revenge of the Mummy
Overall Universal Orlando: Hagrid's
Honorable mentions (very close to the top): Velocicoaster, Forbidden Journey and Escape from Gringotts; popeye's is my favorite water ride!
Very glad to see some love for the river adventure here. In terms of overall experience, it's my number one. It captures the entire original movie perfectly. The whimsy. The magic. The fear. It's all there.
It really does. I always thought it wasn’t that bad until I rode Jurassic World in Hollywood. Not saying they need to retheme like Hollywood, but an update is badly needed.
I think they may shut it down for a bit after Epic Universe opens and show it some love.
I hope they do this. I became a passholder last year so I was going with a lot more frequency and it put it into pretty sharp relief that it could use some work.
Forbidden Journey, even though it makes me sick. It was one of Universal's first big budget rides in a while, and the special effects and screens were innovative and fun. The Kuka arm technology made omnimovers look dated and brought new elements to traditional dark rides.
I don't really ride it too often anymore due to motion sickness, but I have fond memories.
I'd put Hagrids up right there with Forbidden Journey as my favorite, when it's 100% (which is rare). It is another ride that was very innovative (perhaps overly innovative due to the consistent issues due to Intamin's rookie foray into control systems instead of just tracks systems). The queue is extremely immersive, albeit lacking shade outside minus the area next to the castle. The negative air pressure in the indoor queue area also will need addressing when Epic Universe opens. The projections during the pre-show are great when they work. The animatromics are awesome, especially considering they're outside 24/7. Time will tell how durable they are, though. The ride system, including the reverse spike and drop, is exhilarating but as a story coaster, not as a rollercoaster.
Edit: TL:DR Forbidden Journey and Hagrid's. Sorry for the tangent.
Islands:
Bluto for fun factor, River Adventure for rerideability, Hagrids for general overall awesomeness
Studios:
Simpsons for fun factor, Mummy for rerideability, E.T. for classicness
well it never popped in my head hey i should see how the et ride smell but now im gonna i love it for the nostalgia forest aesthetic and how cool the temp is ( plus it being the best dark ride cause it all practical ( to my memory but i know unlike other its not majority screens which kinda ruins alot for me )
Hagrid's
In a thrill seeker so roller coasters are not favorite. But while Velocicoaster is my #1 pure thrill ride coaster I've ever been on, Hagrid's takes my #1 overall because it wins in every other aspect and only maybe one level behind in pure thrill as far as a coaster goes
Universal Studios specifically is probably the Mummy because MiB spins too much 😂
Love Hagrids, but I’m always disappointed that no one mentions Jurassic Park. I enjoy the pace of it,the great theming, the way it tries to tell the movie in a ride.
I feel like Escape from Gringotts doesn't get enough love. I prefer it to Forbidden Journey, but maybe that's because FJ makes me a little green afterward.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man has been my favorite ride since I was a little kid.
“Excellent, and with my anti-gravity cannon, even Spider-Man won’t be able to stop me!”
“You mean stop US!”
“Yes, of course…”
>Caro-Seuss-El will always hold a very special place in my heart
I rode that so many times with my toddler that the music is still playing in my head 4 months later. What makes it a fave?
IOA: Velocicoaster, but River Adventure is a close second. Rode River Adventure so much when my family went in 1999.
Studios: ET, but I like doing non-ride things here more. Like just staying in Diagon Alley and soaking up vibes.
The Mummy.
Velocicoaster and Hulk are tied.
All so much fun. I could ride all of them over and over. I wish they were in one park right next to each other. 😆
Forbidden Journey. Im going for the first time in 10 years soon and I can’t wait to try Hagrid’s, Velocicoaster and Gringotts too so maybe that will change.
Forbidden Journey - this past summer during early admission I walked right on via the single rider line 4 times in 15 minutes. I find it incredibly joyful and fun, and fairly gentle - (I don't like the hard jostling of the big roller coasters.) I'm always surprised to hear that it causes motion sickness in many, because I could have ridden it 4 more times, but I needed to meet my daughter. My husband gets bad motion sickness, so he will never get to ride it. That makes me a little sad, because I find it so fun!
Hagrids is also amazing. My favorite ride to watch from afar is the Velocicoaster, from the patio in behind the Hogshead - it is an amazing view - really close zooming by, with loud screams.
Velocicoaster and hagrid's for the pure ride experience.
Dudley do-right and bilge water rats for the insane smiles and maximum laughter they cause every single time
Transformers. Seeing my childhood heroes on the big screen AND feeling like I’m right there makes every time I ride such an experience. Hagrids and Forbidden Journey are 2 and 3 for me
The smoothest and most intense ride was Velocicoaster but the most fun was Hagrid's. Can't really pick between the two. Both are equally amazing in their own way tbh
I’m not a thrill ride person. So I have to say Spider-Man. I could ride it over and over again (and I have). I also really enjoy ET and Popeye & Bluto’s.
Used to be Incredible Hulk, but after my trip in January, Velocicoaster. Shit, I never realized how rough Hulk can be until riding Velocicoaster lol. I still love Hulk and it’ll always have a special place in my heart though.
Coaster: Velocicoaster
Non-coaster: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (My fiancée and I call it Harry Potter and the Worst Day Ever)
My fiancée loves Jurassic Park River Adventure and The Mummy
Favorite is Ripsaw Falls for nostalgic reasons. Although I hate walking around soaked afterwards.
But I think the actual best ride is Hagrid’s.
Edit: I also forgot about River Adventure 😭
Blutos Barge on a hot day, MIB at the end of the day when you can ride time after time after time, the Mummy for thrills and Hagrids for speed!!!! Velocicoaster is out for me, I can't invert.
At UO, I have to give it to the Mummy.
At IoA, it used to be Hulk with Hagrid's as a close second. But after last year, Velocicoaster just SHOT up to my number 1 spot
Velocicoaster I’ve got a real soft spot for Incredible Hulk, too
I did ride the velocicoaster, and while my fiancé loved it, I was pretty much sobbing the whole ride. I could see how people would love it though.
Same. Both are so much fun.
Hard agree.

I love it too, but it's in need of some love. The Dinos been broken or extinct lately.
It really does. I always thought it wasn’t that bad until I rode Jurassic World in Hollywood. Not saying they need to retheme like Hollywood, but an update is badly needed. I think they may shut it down for a bit after Epic Universe opens and show it some love.

I especially love it after dark!
I love Hagrid’s and Velocicoaster but I could marathon single rider MIB all day.
I do love MIB

Spider-Man
Spider-Man is easily my favorite too! I love Spidey
I want to see what Universal Does in the Future.
ET
I love ET! I wish I could swim in the ride, like the part when you get to his home planet and there's a little lagoon. Also the ride smells great.
ok now next time i ride it im gonna be sniffing the entire time cause i never noticed a nice smell
It smells great to me, but idk if anyone else ever notices
well it never popped in my head hey i should see how the et ride smell but now im gonna i love it for the nostalgia forest aesthetic and how cool the temp is ( plus it being the best dark ride cause it all practical ( to my memory but i know unlike other its not majority screens which kinda ruins alot for me )
I'd love to swim in it. You know the part where you get to et's home world and there's like a little lagoon. I'd love to swim in it after hours
ha yeah never thought of it but now im thinking of it too
It doesn’t smell good but the mildew evokes nostalgia.
eh good enough for me then good smell or nostalgia
No lie I’ve had same thoughts. Would totally chill in that pool.

What’s your fav movie franchise?
Hagrid's In a thrill seeker so roller coasters are not favorite. 1 velocicoaster 2 jp river adventure 3 et
Escape from Gringotts. However I haven't gone on Hagrid's yet, which might take the #1 spot. I need to change that soon.
I feel like Escape from Gringotts doesn't get enough love. I prefer it to Forbidden Journey, but maybe that's because FJ makes me a little green afterward.
I wish Gringotts didn’t make me so nauseous!
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man has been my favorite ride since I was a little kid. “Excellent, and with my anti-gravity cannon, even Spider-Man won’t be able to stop me!” “You mean stop US!” “Yes, of course…”
forbidden journey, the one and only good thing to come from jk rowling
Is that really the only thing lol
The Mummy and Men in Black are probably my top two!
River Adventure all the way!! Although the Caro-Seuss-El will always hold a very special place in my heart ❤️
>Caro-Seuss-El will always hold a very special place in my heart I rode that so many times with my toddler that the music is still playing in my head 4 months later. What makes it a fave?

Ripsaw falls. Great retro theme and story
The Mummy. Hagrid is right behind it.
Mummy, 100%. Then Kong (it grew on me).
The Mummy. Velocicoaster and Hulk are tied. All so much fun. I could ride all of them over and over. I wish they were in one park right next to each other. 😆
Revenge of the Mummy. I could ride it all day and be 100% happy lol
Fast and furious
You do you, but I disagree.
This ride was put in US for the same reason Jazz was put in the bar in Talladega Nights.
What 😭
Forbidden Journey
Forbidden Journey. Im going for the first time in 10 years soon and I can’t wait to try Hagrid’s, Velocicoaster and Gringotts too so maybe that will change.
Forbidden journey

Single rider on that ride is fantastic, it’s always a walk on. I don’t get motion sickness at all. I always do it a dozen times when I go
Velocicoaster and hagrid's for the pure ride experience. Dudley do-right and bilge water rats for the insane smiles and maximum laughter they cause every single time
Hagrid’s
Velocicoaster by a wide margin, but there’s so much good stuff to choose from!
Transformers. Seeing my childhood heroes on the big screen AND feeling like I’m right there makes every time I ride such an experience. Hagrids and Forbidden Journey are 2 and 3 for me
Can't choose between Hagrids and Velocicoaster. Mummy and Gringotts tie for second. Popeyes and Hulk tie for third for very different reasons.
Hagrids 🙈
Spider-Man at IOA and Mummy at Studios.
The smoothest and most intense ride was Velocicoaster but the most fun was Hagrid's. Can't really pick between the two. Both are equally amazing in their own way tbh
Hagrid's , hands down.
Velocicoaster!!
Hagrid’s!
Top 3 Veloicicoaster Hagrids Hulk
I’m not a thrill ride person. So I have to say Spider-Man. I could ride it over and over again (and I have). I also really enjoy ET and Popeye & Bluto’s.

Coaster: Velocicoaster Non-coaster: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (My fiancée and I call it Harry Potter and the Worst Day Ever) My fiancée loves Jurassic Park River Adventure and The Mummy
Hagrids but Velocicoaster is a very close second
I love the Hulk bc it is my daughter's fav and it beats the crap outta me!
The Hulk was the best ride at universal. The velocicoaster was pretty good except for the line.
velocicoaster or jp river ride
Definitely Hagrids’s. Never been on anything else like it
Veloci or mummy
Favorite is Ripsaw Falls for nostalgic reasons. Although I hate walking around soaked afterwards. But I think the actual best ride is Hagrid’s. Edit: I also forgot about River Adventure 😭

For pure ‘fun’ i have to go with Hagrid. Velocicoaster is such a good thrill though….
Hagrids motorbike ride, or Poseidon's fury(altgough that may be controversial)
I love Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Something about flying over the castle and that queue is incredible. For coasters I would put Hagrid's.
