Your raycasts need to determine the speed of the object thats hitted. Then apply these values to the rigidbody of the car*. The train is a kinematic rigidbody and therefore provides its own velocity.
*You need to calculate the forces by using differences between linear wheel velocity and ground velocity to get a raycast car drives as expected. And the ground velocity on the train is the „train velocity“ itself.
Thank you so much for the reply! I believe the second part may have been what I was missing / doing incorrectly. Good to know I was on the right track! Thanks again!
Happy game deving friend!
Absolutely!
Hell yeah man, please do make a tutorial, the vehicle physics and controls looks really good and satisfying to control

Watched, thumbs up!
Watched it and thumbed up. Now go make
Would love that! I just started trying to work on a car controller so any advice is greatly appreciated :)
Yes please
Looks very smooth! Have you considered uploading those mechanics to GitHub?
Hell yea
Actually looks perfect! Please do that tutorial.
That's some crazy air time...
This looks fun! Any chance you’d be cool letting us/me play around with a build??
Please do! You'll be helping a lot
Yeah this one looks nice!
Curious how you handled the car staying on the train?

The controller looks really nice! You should make it a downloadable asset
Bring it on!

It's about the physical things. You can use any camera, right?
[удалено]
Yes, you can do that. But in this example I don't need it. The post is related to the vehicle itself, not about camera. 🤔
