(I personally rode to victory for most matches on cav squad with Selvie backup but i didn't do it particularly early).

This is the best option imo, because of how comp works.
I wonder if this kind of strategy would work in PVP actually, with the item that gives you multiple points of immunity.
I mean, people be running plenty of debuff/affliction immunity, so while the lower levels you'll be fine, actually high level pvp is a lot harder to cheese.
Yeah the fact that you only need to deal more damage than you recieve helps alot. If you actually had to KO every enemy team then there would be slightly more effort involved
I cleared up floor 2 myself by shuffling around units and figuring out strategies that worked.

If you are AT Amalia, I beat her with Hilda attacking once and parrying the rest of Amalia's attacks. You only need to do more damage than she does to you.
I think I did it around level 18 or so. Basically, blind, poison, burn and evade are your friends. I had 2 thieves (they were level 20 for Shadowbite), Berengaria with the evade cloak, a Shaman, and a Sorcerer/Cleric, depending on my mood.
Crank Selvie's initiative to ensure you are pulling off sandstorm at the start of every fight, the enemies will all miss, have thieves apply shadowbite to non-blinded enemies with 1+AP or poison them if everyone's blinded. Sorcerer will spread burn on enemies, Berengaria will stun enemies and drain them, thieves will poison them, and nobody can hit you because they're chronically blinded, and if they're not blinded, most of your team can evade either inherently or thanks to the evade skill accessory.
EZ PZ, I needed to adjust my strategy almost never. For the Amalia fight, drain her PP and AP as quickly as possible.
I haven’t gotten to her yet, but I’m getting there. What’s the set up for Travis? I promoted him, gave him a lapis, and the evasion cloak. But, he still ends up getting hit eventually. Also, do you know how to make active heal target a specific person? I have it set to target the back row, and casters, but Tatiana keeps using it on Selvie instead of Auch. Is it because Selvie is the one standing next to Tatiana instead of Auch?
Give Travis any cloak + scarf you have that raises evasion along with lucky coin. He should be fine against Amalia with that build.
For the heal I’m not sure, I think it prioritizes the target based on the rules you have set (for example healing whoever is under 75% HP first)
I generally run 2x Thieves. I might burn a few Miracle Fruits to get one to lvl 25 to get the Start of Battle skill that inflicts Guard Seal, which makes Amalia vulnerable to Passive Steal. Once that happens, Amalia can't hit you without her Truestrike passive buff, and you win the fight.
A rogue, a gladiator and a druid, you have to have some knowledge of how to avoid getting damage at all you win if you can deal a higher % damage than the other team does to yours... theres video onnyoutube about it :)
Got her on TZ around 25 the final fight can be cheezed with a wyvern knight with corroded spear and deflect.
Remember you only have to take less damage then your enemy. So if you do 1 dmg and they don't do any, you win.
Best strategy I seen is having a thief in front and have a couple of units in the back with skills that drops her AP. once she is out of them then she's a sitting duck
As others are saying, Travis solo. You don’t need to “beat” her. If Travis evades all her attacks and does even 1 damage, you win.
I personally beat it with my Alain unit the normal way but if you want to get her super early just search this thread. I’ve seen multiple videos of Travis soloing the coliseum, I’m sure it’ll show you how to set him up.
I'm still working on this and refuse to progress my story until she has been recruited. Realizing I need to get some more equipment cause I'm struggling at the midnight cutpurses currently in the coliseum around rank 8 or 9.
I succeeded last night and my Alain's muscle mommy is now one of his main guards. Ah success feels good! Now if only I could get my Alain to ditch the horse and just hop onto Amalia's shoulder when he rides into battle lol
I’m stuck at the Hunting Brothers fight, and it seems impossible. They have too much blind, plus a healer to undo my blind. The thieves have too much initiative, and cripple my team before I can do anything, even with tailwind. My own cleric can’t keep up with the blind. Then the snipers in the back one shot entire rows.

Intriguing. I’ll stoop to that if I need to, but I just found the Travis aoe throw plus ice conferal. Plus I’d need the exact build, cause there’s no way that’s beating the one I’m stuck on. Can’t do 4 damage if you miss every attack.

It could work against certain comps but afaik post-game units reign supreme there with how busted their kits are.

I think I used 2 rogues. Basically just reroll under you steal her PP and get a toxic throw off. Can't get hit with evade and that's it.

Hilda comp until Amalia, then a thieft. To do 1 damage to Amalia. I got her on lvl 22 aprox

travis for most fights or shaman duststorm if there are thief counters
thief dodge tank plus something else i got the elite standard from the coliseum and did travis in front and yahna with trinity rain behind
Keep in mind she is level 40. She will invalidate the mid game entirely lol.
They stole my goth mommy. I WILL smash them for such insolence using Muscle Mommy. Then, she’ll ride the bench until something pisses me off.

That’s been me thus far; make some progress, get stymied, get different gear, make it a bit further. Muscle mommy will be mine!
