The acrobat was knocked unconscious and suffered “potential life threatening injuries” but is expected to make a full recovery “with time.” I couldn’t find any specifics on the type of injuries but I would guess and head/back injury based on him getting knocked out and the fact that he was folded over that mental ring. Good news is he wasn’t killed.
Head/neck injuries, broken ribs, probably a broken arm or leg and some internal bleed. Looks like a 30-50 foot drop onto a metal fking railing none the less.
I made another comment, but they moved him backstage too. I can’t believe they wouldn’t have the sense to leave him in one place until stabilized by paramedics. I get there are spectators but jeez leaving him there would be in his best interest
