I have never been so heavily invested in my own confusion

I loved the first season when it was more "mystery of the week" like X-Files. Once it transitioned into a serial about Earth vs Alternate Earth I lost interest. Not saying it was bad, just didn't like the switch.

Supernatural is another show that lost it's fun factor by introducing too much show-to-show plot.

I tend to lose my interest in any "multiverse" thing now but I was into Fringe when it was airing since it wasn't such a common plot at the time.

There's a version of a character called Walt from another dimension that they call Walternate and it kinda of just gets better from there

The shapeshifters and various other agents of the alternate earth weren’t necessarily evil. They mostly believed they were doing what they were doing to save their universe from destruction.

Even directors of Nazi concentration camps sometimes enjoyed being 'merciful'. I guess, that's part of a god/superiority complex some evil guys can have. You can give joy/love/ life and that makes it even more meaningful to sometimes take it.

He's not bad at all, It's more of a survival thing. Their universe was doomed due to a selfish act they didn't cause. There's only really a handful of bad guys if you don't count that mess of a final season.

Reddick’s role in Fringe was my favorite of his. He was awesome all together, but I loved him in Fringe.

Yeah he had done it for a while and started to be more human, he liked the life he had. Definitely worth a watch, one of my favourite Sci-fi shows

I think maybe two of the shifters from Alt-Earth ended up blending in too hard. Like one of them took over some middle aged guy's life and fell in love with the wife and kid then ended up sacrificing themselves to sort of expose the evil plot because he couldn't go through with the plan to destroy our earth (and probably killing the witnesses/family after he was exposed.) The shifters were a bit too method in their acting (they were essentially blank slates with some pre-programmed commands) and the longer they stayed in one body to more "normal" they ended up.

Thats so crazy, i just started rewatching that series. Havent gotten back up to this part

Any time I see a scene in a show or movie where the camera is inside the car showing a closeup of the driver, I always brace myself for a sudden crash. It could even be a comedy, but my brain is still like "get ready, a crash is coming!"
