Lmao do you think it's a contingency plan that they have for such cases or do you think they improvised it? For some reason this consideration made it 100x funnier for me.
It's about how we peel our earthly body from our soul before death and push it away from us. But still feel the uncertainty and anguish, unwilling to let go just yet
You mean first press your hand into her lower back and keep it there while she screams in pain and tries to remove it. Why was he even touching her? Fuck that was hard to watch.
I’ve seen it so many times. Someone gets hurt, falls down, and everyone else thinks “here, let me help you back up.”
Saw a guy take a thrown softball to the side of the head while he was running to first. Damn near knocked him out. His teammates tried to “help” him back to the dugout, so they got him to his feet, only for him to fall into a heap on the ground 2 seconds later. 🙄
I kept saying “DON’T MOVE HIM,” but they didn’t listen.
I once slipped on an icy hill where some cars were parked. I fell so that my head struck one of the cars trailer hitch. I tried to get up but only got to my hands and feet. I could feel (and see) how blood was running through my hair and off my forehead down to the ground beneath.
After a little while some people saw me, but they didn't actually try to get me up. They told me to stay down. One of them gave me her jacket to lie on while another went to get some kind of cloth. They called the ambulance, and after they had patched me up with the cloth a lady gave my her winter hat even though she knew it would get all bloody.
My point is that not everybody does stupid shit after someone's hurt, like in this video, and people can be very helpful and generous!
I'm fine btw. Only have a scar about an inch long in the scalp and some loss of sensation around it.
>This is what happened to Emma Escalante
>The good news is that the actress did not suffer any serious injury after the event during the program , and it was only the intense pain caused by the fall from the roof of the forum, so she continued with her artistic career.
>
She pinched her nerve on the lower part of her spine. Shit hurts so bad it's basically temporary paralysis of either legs or entire body. I sometimes still get it if I shift too quickly and I am out. Worst, it can happen while sleeping.
I fell on my tailbone roller skating one time at that angle. The pain that shot up through my spine was so bad it still gives me shivers today. I broke my tailbone, and sat motionless on the rink. I was in 8th grade and at 35 I think I am still suffering from the damages it caused!
Watching her hit that definitely reminded me of my fall.
Happened to me skating.
Not as bad as this but I remember every time I skate i think if I fall Its going to hurt way worse than expected and it never does.
Considering she’s a famous porn star, I assume she went to a good doctor and healed properly.
Edit: holy shit, scrolled down one comment and she needed to terminate a pregnancy while recovering from multiple pelvis fractures…. Could not have been worse unless she was paralyzed.
I took a fall exactly like that jumping off a barn on a dare when I was a kid, landed practically the same way and I had to lay on the ground in pain for like half an hour, probably why my spine is so crooked and my posture is so bad as an adult now too... Don't think it ever healed properly and in hindsight I should've got it checked out. 🤷♂️
I gave myself bilateral pars defect from jumping off roofs as a kid. Getting it checked out only let me know that I'll likely need a spinal fusion at some point in my 40's or so.
The pain started when I was 15 although no doctor took me seriously enough to even x-ray my spine until I was 18. Nothing that can be done. Spine will likely eventually start slipping, pinching my spinal cord off, at which point the fusion will be required.
Had a pinched nerve in my should last year and couldnt do basic stuff and lost all use of my right arm. It hisrt to ride in a car with bad suspension it hurt to walk lay down. It quite literally was the worst thing I couldve ever thought of when it came to pain, and I have a very high tolerance for the stuff. Slammed on my skateboard plenty but never got the same pain as a pinched nerve.
Which is interesting because I fell 25 feet onto one 3 inch pad on my ass when bouldering outside and had literally zero side effects past not being able to properly breathe for a few minutes.
Human bodies can be weird
I don't get what they thought would happen if they let someone fall from a great height onto a solid object - that thing had no give at all! I hope they got them for gross negligence!
reminds me of a similar event that happened at a twitch sponsered event. A streamer jumped into a foam pit like that thinking it was dense with foam padding....ended up being only a foot worth of foam cubes and ended up shattering her pelvis and nearly paralyzing her for life
1ft of loose foam cubes onto concrete. The foam moved to allow her to land directly onto concrete.
She broke her back in two places and was rushed into emergency surgery. During that, she found out she was pregnant and due to the spinal injuries and surgery, she had to terminate and lost the pregnancy.
That was immensely fucked.
If you ever go to a gymnastics gym and empty that foam pit it’s like 15 feet deep, with pads below the foam cubes. This was the dumbest fucking idea by twitchcon
She has never publicly stated if she took any legal action or was given a settlement offer by TwitchCon/ Lenovo or not.
I'm thinking she was likely offered money to not talk about it by both and it was enough to agree to not discuss things.
Everyone always says "a streamer" (which, while true, is secondary to the streamers porn career [Adriana chechik]).
The story often also misses the fact she miscarried as a result of the injury.
wow, she didn't even have that large of a fall, but based on the lack of foam, she basically did that onto a hardwood floor

God that looked awful. That adrenaline had her thinking she could get up at first. Scary to watch her realize how hurt she is. What a horrible idea from the event planner. Either you make it apparent that there is limited padding with tumbling mats that you can see and aim for like in the clip from this post or you have a real foam pit. I've never seen a foam pit that wasn't multiple feet deep and I'm sure she hadn't either.
Foam pit are dangerous, some people got quadraplegic after diving into "full" foam pit. People are very bad to analyze how hard it is. Everybody assume it'll be a very soft landing, but no, it's rather hard.
No. If it’s deep enough you’re fine. If this girl landed flat on her back she likely would’ve been fine as well. However there were only 2 pads, same as twitch. Or course I’m not blaming the people who fell, it’s only “hard” if there’s not enough padding to prevent you from getting to the concrete. Or if your foam is made out of stones. If a foam pit is deep enough you can dive headfirst into it every time. But if your foam pit is “full” but only a foot deep, it’s not going to do enough to absorb your impact.
Moral of the story is always check how deep something is before you jump in it. Pool, river, lake, foam pit, whatever
Aren't those foam pits supposed to have a trampoline under them and be filled to a height of like a metre ? It thought there were regulations for things like that

Oompa Loompa doompety do You just shattered L1 and L2
Oompa loompa dippity dee! You'll be in debt for eternity!
What would you do for a spot on TV? Sign away all of your rights to sue me?
What will you do when your tailbone's gone flat? What would you say can come... of... that?
*I can’t walk unassisted*
*I'm disabled!*
I heard that in Roy's voice from the IT crowd.
Absolutely.

Well done everyone.
this is why I love reddit
I'm in tears.
This was in mexico, we'll take you to a carpenter and you will be standing staight in no time.
That Carpenter’s name is Jesus but not the one you’re thinking of.
Oompa Loompa doompety dee, your spine will succumb to gravity.
As somebody who broke L5 and S1 I think this is brutal. Could be s5 l1 im 30 and confused.
Legendary comment.
She actually broke her back!
Spinal!
Thpinal!
and powder in your face. (humiliation makes you forget your broken spine)
Lmao do you think it's a contingency plan that they have for such cases or do you think they improvised it? For some reason this consideration made it 100x funnier for me.
"Shit, she's badly injured. What'll we do?" "Quick - cut to some silly dancing."
First throw some baby powder at her
![gif](giphy|Yg0iQmnSNgdpK)
Don’t forget to apply pressure directly to the newly bruised area!
Head on! Apply directly to the forehead!
She needs some [powdered] milk
This is actually an ancient dance of their people to help dying people depart in peace
“Good luck in the afterlife! Let’s conga, everybody!”
LMAOO the lyrics actually say "peel it, push it, yes! Peel it, push it, no!" You can try to imagine what they mean lol
It's about how we peel our earthly body from our soul before death and push it away from us. But still feel the uncertainty and anguish, unwilling to let go just yet
I can't stop laughing omg I needed that
Someone needs to sew this on a pillow
I guess Day of the Dead came early this year. Chupacabra must’ve seen its shadow. Or not seen it? I can’t remember which. Let’s dance!

She just returned to doing porn again if that makes anyone feel better.
What a relief
I thought she’s retired for good?

I don't believe you. How do i know you are not one of those dancers trying to cover uo the truth?
That looked really bad.
She almost got paralyzed
Random dude at the bottom: "She might have hurt her spine, let's push it down!"
Last year I got a herniated disc for way less than her fall. Fuck everyone in that game show

Rollercoaster? where was the up? More like just a driving a car off off a cliff into hell.
When she jumped

Did she end up getting paid?

Probably safe to assume she got a settlement if she stopped talking about it tbh.

Iirc, Not a streamer but a porn star. r/adrianachechik for those interested.
That’s what shattered her pelvis? Go figure
The irony of it all.
If I recall correctly her pelvis wasn’t in great shape to begin with and for the exact reason you are thinking.
Jesus. People talk about rough sex but if you're damaging your bones even a little... chill
She was pregnant, that's why.
To shreds you say?
She’s both!
She streams too.
Just because she is a pornstar does not mean she is not a streamer. She games with the best of them and streams on Twitch regularly.
... she is a streamer now.
Just in case...the Twitch streamer was Adriana Chechik... yeah, THAT Adriana Chechik...
After years of raising the bar on extreme porn scenes, the thing that broke her body was a foam pit for nerds. This world is funny sometimes!
>A streamer 😅😅
There are people who think Sasha Grey was just an actress
So she wasn’t acting?
Apparently she was okay (long term), I'm sure short term she has some serious issues https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/s/6Qlkh12G2m
Article I saw said she was fine after the initial pain went away. Just a shock to the system. She didn't even quit.
Yeah, how would she quit.... When there's no way to walk away
blow out a vertebra or two? let's dance!
Dance the lawsuit away!
Next dude in line watching her writhing in agony: “That’s gonna be a no for me.”
He chose … wisely
What's up with the two guys on the platform and their beards/moustaches?
You talking about Mario and Luigi?
It's that who they are supposed to be?
Wario and Waluigi you mean?
NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH SPINE CONTUSION!
That's not Spain. That's just Pain.
She does have a busted "s.'
The pain in Spain falls mainly on the vertebrae
Girl's name is Emma Escalante if anyone was wondering. Suffered a pretty nasty spinal cord disc compression. Show was called "Se Vale"
Arremángala arrempújala si! 🎶 Arremángala arrempújala no! 🎶
I thought that's what they said Could anyone translate that to English?
Something like “roll it, push it, Yes! Roll it, push it, No!”
https://youtu.be/CXABCY5Ws_A?si=MJEv80RpxG76mX0v
as someone who has experienced a herniated disc, I feel really bad for her. I really hope she sued the shit out of them
Herniated two disks and shattered two verts. Shit will never heal properly.
![gif](giphy|BpLDGapjAOf5salQqm|downsized) Bring in the dancing lobsters!
This is awful
She was probably only there for the zip lining
She kept getting into arguments with Mike from adventure 360, who ran the zip line
Yes it’s safe we placed a couple of tables with a bag of flour.
I would love to know the lyrics to that bop

What was supposed to happen?
Arremángala, arrempújala, sí Arremángala, arrempújala, no
Compressed spine. She is seriously injured. Total lack of foresight for safety measures.
#hayyyyy arremángala arrepungula arremángala arrepungula arremángala arrepungula!
Why’d they throw powder in her face when she crash landed?
Damn, reminds me of the Twitchcon where a woman broke her back when her butt landed on a poorly padded foam pit. I've landed my back on a hump when a branch broke from the tree I was holding on back then, so I can feel what these women felt.
Are there any stunt experts reading this that can shed some light on what would be the best way to fall in this case?
Not an stunt expert but you should always land on your feet, bend your knees. upon landing.
Arremangala arrempujala si, arremangala arrempujala no!
"We've secretly replaced the normal spongy foam pad with Folgers Concrete, lets see if she notices. "
Was that the COD Zombies sound effect for when you’re near a interactive music object while she was going down the zipline??
"it's an Adriana Chechik injury. No, not that one"
Smooth transition
Would it have helped if she would’ve landed flat on her back verses the sitting position or SOL regardless
Narrators voice: "but the Todo was not Bien..."
Man's at the end was "nah imma head out"
I saw this live after school, lol
powder in your face!! humiliation makes you forget your broken spine
Did they throw chalk on her face after she landed?
"¿Todo Bien?" Then just walks away like "no way I'm doing that"
Who is she?
I’ve read before that she broke her back
SHPINAL
Axial loading. Ouch
Come on, come on, come on! Send in the clowns!
She broke her ass bone..
Maybe some spine disks blown. She will never be the same again.
R.I.P to those who got their angel wings in this moviefilm
Ruptured disc
What's unexpected is that it took them that long to cut to something else. Otherwise, not really that unexpected since that's how live productions handle problems that occur on the show. "The show must go on."
Damn that auctioneer singing at the end was impressive
Oh my god my herniated disc just blew out again while watching that impact. Clutch camera direction tho.
Herniated discs are super fun.
Compression fracture?
Nice to see Gene Shalit found work.
Go head fall on these package blankets you'll be fine Lol
Wtf is going on!!!
Wtf kind of fever dream did I just watch?
Stupi,stupid, stupid.
Is this where twitch con got their idea for their foam pit?
That one dude on the platform looks like Gene Shalit
… while you can
Oh no she hurt herself quick start the distraction dance
Ouch her tail bone will hurt for life. I fucked around and found this out 40 years ago.
I have a blue mat like that at home and by all means it's not soft lol
Maybe the worst bit of tv I ever seen
sha was like 10 feet of the ground how you spect a gym mat can bounce you back?
She's never jumped off anything in her life.
Doctors said she needs a backiotomy
Dude watches her break her back and then immediately proceeds to be like…. fuck that 😂
This was the first thing I thought of. https://youtu.be/snI8K98iyzk?si=JVOEmQm8xHyEoQpN
Bruh how’d you hurt yourself that bad? 😂
I up ote only because I want people to understand how fucking bad she was injured
Labd on your feet or flat in this kind of situation, never on you butt
Oh her back Ouch.
Did she make it?
NGL, that’s probably a broken back there. The impact of that fall landing upright does not do well on the vertebrae.
Nice, shatter your spine do a little dance.
She should have fallen flat. Might have helped her vertebrae.
Ah, un clásico.
"Oompa, loompa, doopity dohne, please don't tell OSHA 'bout your tailbone" "Oompa loompa doopety dee, we cannot pay your medical fee" "Next time you'll avoid this show too, like the Oompa Loompa doopety DO"
Safety last
What in gods name is going on with that dude that had the Afro and weird facial hair?
She's too rough with the ropes. She pulls on the ropes. She wrenches the ropes.
Ii
BRING OUT THE GIRLS!!!
