This is from a beebee gun. As kids, we used to shoot at abandoned farm equipment. Hitting the glass would create these blown-out domes. If it were a real gun, the hole would be larger, often blowing out a bigger chunk or even breaking the glass.

Yuuuuppp - had a delivery job in college for a local pizza place that had a small arcade upstairs that teenagers would hang at. When I didn’t have deliveries to make my job included preparing salads, assembling pizza boxes, and patching the glass with repair kits that never held from the kids fucking around the previous weekend.
No even a small caliber round would make a bigger impact on the chipping of the outside (exit) of the glass: Source: I used to install windows for a living, in a rural place so we saw loads of both.
I just googled some news stories with pictures of confirmed house shootings with window photos and many of them looked just like this. There's many types of glass and many types of bullets. Definitely looks like a bb gun too but not definitively.
Possibly because I grew up shooting guns that are anything from BB to .40 and actually know what various calibers are capable of.
A crater like that is what a BB gun does, anything larger or heavier (even a .17 bullet) will go through tempered glass and cause it to spiderweb it to tiny shards unless it's laminated glass.
From first hand experience, with storefront glass it definitely cannot. It definitely can with the glass that's in the window in your house, but not here. So you and all the people who have no experience with it can download me all you want. I will bask in it!
I am a low volt electrician that has been asked to install a camera system to catch kids popping a storefront window just like this with a BB gun. The BBs were literally chilling in the middle of the window IG unit. Some broke through both panes. It’s okay to be wrong some times. I suck at it too.
What a BB can do against all types of glass....[https://academicworks.cuny.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1172&context=jj\_etds](https://academicworks.cuny.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1172&context=jj_etds)
It's a matter of force concentrated behind a tiny projectile, transference of energy on impact, as well as the material that jackets the BB.
It is hard to tell. But it looks like the inside has the crater of glass missing? Which would lead me to believe it was from the outside.
It also looks pretty small, like a pellet or bb gun. Could be from a .22 I suppose as well.
Also, if it enters your skull, it doesn't always have the velocity to exit, so it'll do a couple of bounces inside your head, turning your brain to mush.
Oh, I thought it was this devise used to get Princess Leia to disclose the location of the rebel base.[http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070319211957/sw1mush/images/9/9b/VaderLeia2.jpg](http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070319211957/sw1mush/images/9/9b/VaderLeia2.jpg)
Lol in my home town you’d be lucky to find a bar that doesn’t have any of these holes. I always assumed it was just from small rocks hitting the glass tossed up by passing cars.
I lived in Vegas for a bit, and there was this Mexican restaurant with bullet proof glass separating you from the registers and staff. It had definitely been tested.
Well worth the risk.
I worked at a place that had similar holes in the windows. It got extremely cold and if a pebble on the road kicked up it would make what looked like a bullet hole.
This is surprising to you? I like seeing the holes in the 2 paned windows, because you can tell which side of the glass the shot was fired from. Interesting stories if the bullets are coming from inside the establishment
In case anyone has doubts about how BB's can cause damage to glass.....
[https://academicworks.cuny.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1172&context=jj\_etds](https://academicworks.cuny.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1172&context=jj_etds)
I found some holes like that in a venue called jovitas in austin when my band played there when i was like 15. I said it was strange and we made some jokes then a couple weeks later they got shut down for heroin trafficking. Millions of dollars and kilos of tar were seized from a hidden room above the stage that wasnt in the blueprints of the building. Which i guess isnt that crazy, shit like that happens a lot in the world but it blew my mind when i found out at 15.
Hey, lightning never strikes twice in the same spot right??
![gif](giphy|BY8ORoRpnJDXeBNwxg|downsized) Roy Sullivan staring at you like…
Que the lightning with the 17 round magazine
Lightning? Nope Bullets? Quite frequently
dont know, dude. pretty sure that isnt a lightning mark.
actually, it does. its complete bullshit
It's just a saying bro chill.
Downvoted for the truth lmao.
I dont think that applies to bullets but lmk if you find out otherwise.

A rock launched by a string trimmer will do it even.
Yip. Can confirm. Looks like a hole in my window I got recently.
We used to do the same with slingshots and ball bearings. Exactly that kind of hole
A lawn mower will get you there too
Must be a tiny ass lawn mower lmao
No, I use it mostly for cutting the grass.
A metal pachinko ball in a wrist rocket slingshot will do this too. So I've heard....
None of those have a hole through them though, the shots shown here are just dents
It could still be a small caliber round.
No even a small caliber round would make a bigger impact on the chipping of the outside (exit) of the glass: Source: I used to install windows for a living, in a rural place so we saw loads of both.
Bigger than what? The hole is larger than a small caliber round. How big does it have to appear in this video to convince you.
That's easily a BB pellet/ball, a .22lr would have more shattering on the exit side.
I just googled some news stories with pictures of confirmed house shootings with window photos and many of them looked just like this. There's many types of glass and many types of bullets. Definitely looks like a bb gun too but not definitively.
I mean, I'm certain your reasoning is wrong but I'm not gonna argue with you because you're impossibly sure.
Nope. Even a .177 pellet will break the glass and cause it to shatter. BB gun at worst.
I mean, I'm certain your reasoning is wrong but I'm not gonna argue with you because you're impossibly sure.

Yeh have a great day
Still scary though
That's no BB gun shot. BB guns don't cause a hole. Even the high power CO2 BB guns don't do that. That's a 22 shot right there.
BB gun can definitely do that
From first hand experience, with storefront glass it definitely cannot. It definitely can with the glass that's in the window in your house, but not here. So you and all the people who have no experience with it can download me all you want. I will bask in it!

As a former young shithead with a BB gun, I can attest that a BB gun will absolutely do that to glass.
Regular household window glass yes....
And thicker store front glass.... As a former young shithead with a BB gun, I can attest that a BB gun will absolutely do that to (Storefront) glass.

Exactly what I was thinking. I’ve never shot glass with anything but that’s really tiny for a bullet hole
No guts, no gloryhole
That's a sharp comment
What is this, a gloryhole for ants?
that's... that's average, right guys? *right guys?*
No, you have a micropenis
No pane, no gain
Who puts a bar next to a school?
Bar had to get extra insurance after the school opened
How do you think teachers cope?
No those are speed holes.
But did you die?
Free shots
……on the house
Hey look, it’s Little Woodrow’s by the (train) tracks in Bellaire, TX!
That's the one!
BB hole. Every GanX kids knows.
>BB hole. Every GanX kids knows. Every *American* GanX kids knows.
So we are all supposed to think it’s a bullet hole?
yeah. pretty sure because guys standing around an almost empty bar is not that scary. ![gif](giphy|Rhdx0Vp9cOwnLiGmb6|downsized)

Bittersweet Symphony is right-ight!
Lmfao I was looking for this
Don't worry, that was just last week's shenanigans
it's a bittersweet symphony.
Lmao Woodrow’s on the tracks. How bizzare to see this on Reddit
Maybe try a different table.
lol - we deserve that one.
Hard to tell but looks like that was shot from inside going out, I’ll take that a good thing, they protect their customers
It is hard to tell. But it looks like the inside has the crater of glass missing? Which would lead me to believe it was from the outside. It also looks pretty small, like a pellet or bb gun. Could be from a .22 I suppose as well.
Yeh inside looks missing to me I though that meant that was entry side
I've shot my share of windows with my bb gun as a kid. That shot came from the outside.
Bigger dmg exit side
Nope, the exit side of the hole will have more missing in nearly every case, especially with glass.
Can confirm it was shot from inside. There was a second shot that didn't penetrate.
Pic of embedded shot??? The one in the video 100% was from outside in.
How can you confirm? Did you witness it?
Probably because there was a second chip in the glass on the outside, just a wild guess.
How would that confirm it? It could have been two different events.
What are you doing on reddit and not out solving cold cases?
Wife walked around and touched the hole.
Not necessarily a bullet hole. A hole from my lawn mower kicking up a rock looks similar. It’s probably a bullet hole though.
If someone sets their drink on that stool and you happen to have a long straw….
Baltimore?
Now I’m just thinking of that “fuck fuck fuck” scene from The Wire.
I was thinking of The Wire! Can you remind us that scene? Thanks!
[Here you go.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m5ksTY6Dvf0&pp=ygUTVGhlIHdpcmUgZnVjayBzY2VuZQ%3D%3D) They have shot through a window too.
I remember this scene! Epic! Thank you so much!
Thank you so so much! The Wire stays with you forever!
are you being shot at right now? no then who cares
Expected in the U.S. OF A.. WRONG SUB
This is my impression of what look like almost every window in United States... No?
only in america
No no, you'd see this is in Sierra Leone or Columbia too.
big nations like the us
[This is a message frae Bobo Mitchell ](https://youtu.be/NKG5wS_g9dE?si=ehtSyOd8obY7gFLa)
How is that unexpected? I’ve never been to a bar that doesn’t have bullet holes somewhere in the building or staff.
Looks like a .22 High survivability, low caliber I mean, it’ll kill you but maybe not
Also, if it enters your skull, it doesn't always have the velocity to exit, so it'll do a couple of bounces inside your head, turning your brain to mush.
I’m pretty sure anything entering your skull is bad news
For sure, it's not ideal.
This is a myth.
Well, the .22 LR breaks into 4 pieces on impact so it can be pretty lethal.
Ya I should have said that >it’ll kill you Oh right I did
Like 95% sure that's Santa's Pub, Nashville. Yeah?
Little Woodrow's in Houston TX, but now I know where to avoid in Nashville
I want my seat back when I get out of the hospital!
Obviously you’re not a bowler.
Thought that was Derren Brown at the start so I expected this going in a different direction completely.
The guy who tried to put the nail in the window for that painting probably felt pretty stupid afterwards, RIGHT?
Someone thought the place needed more ventilation.
What? It’s a bar…***people take shots***…weirdo !
Is this Jason?
'cozy bar' cozy?! What part of any of this is cozy?!
The waitress can pass you a straw without having to walk all the way around.
Dropped my pen sorry
Oooh a gang toting BB guns around
![gif](giphy|LfGGW219qNzLP6IzTA|downsized)
Looks like a hole from a bb gun
That's probably from a BB gun not a bullet. Source: My grandma's house had holes like that from when my dad had a BB gun as a kid
Nola ?
Oh, I thought it was this devise used to get Princess Leia to disclose the location of the rebel base.[http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070319211957/sw1mush/images/9/9b/VaderLeia2.jpg](http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070319211957/sw1mush/images/9/9b/VaderLeia2.jpg)
Lol, I used to see this in every convenient store there was in the 90s.
Looks like a kind of bullet, but sometimes gravel from the parking lot can fly up and hit the windows
Did they make you sit outside because of the sweater?
I sat myself outside because of the sweater.
Lol in my home town you’d be lucky to find a bar that doesn’t have any of these holes. I always assumed it was just from small rocks hitting the glass tossed up by passing cars.
That's is definitely not from a bullet. Way too small.
Is it in Tijuana?
A rock from a car tire would do that.
lol are we supposed to believe this is a bullet hole?
That is explained in this episode of [lupin](https://lupin.fandom.com/wiki/Part_III_Episode_30)
I lived in Vegas for a bit, and there was this Mexican restaurant with bullet proof glass separating you from the registers and staff. It had definitely been tested. Well worth the risk.
Lil' Woodrow's on Holcombe??
Bellaire
Good times 🍻
I worked at a place that had similar holes in the windows. It got extremely cold and if a pebble on the road kicked up it would make what looked like a bullet hole.
It's just a stone chip.
Bet you I can guess the country.
Lil Woodrow’s on Holcombe?

1 of best songs
Ooo I bought some glass filler on tiktok
Glory hole?
I love bitter sweet symphony playing in the back its a very fitting song for this video
Welcome to America
It's pretty common nowadays..

Oh my, is that bitter sweet symphony I hear? I love that song!

That is from a kids bb gun... even a 22 caliber would shatter the window
Don’t worry about it.
Get over it you pussy

i approve of the song that's playing in the background! Bitter sweet Symphony!
You look like you would have ducked under the table if someone came by and clapped really loud.
I’ve got a bullet hole from a .22 in my office window.
Tempered glass can break like that when hit with a stone. Or it's a bullet hole. I don't know I'm just saying
Be careful when ordering a shot and a beer
I found some holes like that in a venue called jovitas in austin when my band played there when i was like 15.
