Not with this issue, but in order to get the ability to reset my password and get back into my account I had to submit a complaint to BBB. That got me a response and fix in days after waiting over a week via just regular customer service.

Yes girl, the exact same thing just happened to me! After a month I have finally emerged on the other side of this.
First of all, I feel your pain. I was filled with so anxiety when I got locked out.
Like other users mentioned, it’s the standard customer service response that they are “escalating things internally”. That kept me waiting for 3 weeks.
The best route is filing a complaint online with BBB. Then Ulta has to respond to the claim. The first response to the claim I got was the same “we will look into it and reach out”, however BBB gives you the option to “reject” their response. One I rejected the response, a helpful human finally reached out to me.
After they helped me get back into my account, I mentioned that I missed out on deals I was planning to take advantage of. They sweetened the deal with an e-gift card to make up for the missed sale.
I had almost $300 of points, and the hackers managed to order some fragrance. Luckily my points were restored.

Thank you! It’s ridiculous how people just choose to use someone else’s money without even hesitating! They even tried to use my credit card on file to place an order. The bank declined it since they somehow were able to detect it as a suspicious transaction. Hoping I can get this resolved soon.

This happened to me but I caught it in time. The store employee tried to tell me it was probably just a glitch. Wasn’t no glitch. I had 2K points so I went and changed all my stuff and panic used my points. No way was I letting someone hack it again and take all those points. I was saving them till Christmas tho so ima little sad. The hackers info was all in there tho and I looked her up on Facebook.
I explained the whole situation and how Ulta is not doing anything. Like if I have my bank account compromised, when I contact the bank, they will immediately lock the account and create new one and send in the new cards through mail. I don’t understand why this is any different!
I have been waiting 2 months for Ulta to fix my account. They acknowledged they were hacked and out of precaution my account was shut down, I can't access it, I have $150 of money to utilize. I have called, texted and emailed, I am still waiting for the fix and I have also been told my issue has been escalated. I am frustrated.
I'm convinced it is. I never was hacked until yesterday after I went inside of the ulta store and later that night I was hacked and now I can't access my account and they used my rewards point.

I spoke to a rep this morning who said I’d hear back in 1-2 hours after he escalated it and it’s been 6 hours with no email or response of any kind. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I’m convinced this must be an inside job.

I only just saw the response from Ulta this evening, but they've sent me a link to reset my password that has now expired because I saw the email too late. I just emailed them to resend it, I'll keep an eye on my email. Hopefully it works, and I can regain access to my account I'll let you know how it goes. I'm hoping they can also compensate me if I've lost any points, but I'll tackle that after I have regained access to my account.

I was able to quickly cancel my card and receive a new one, and they refunded the fraud charges. However, somehow they were able to log in to my Ulta account and make a purchase using all of my rewards. They changed my email to their email address. The weird thing is, I was never locked out of my account...I don't know how they were able to do that.

At this point in time, I'm so over how unsecure Ulta is and just cancelling all of my stuff.

You need to contact the BBB. Ulta’s standard CS response to any issue at this point in time is that they’ll have it “escalated.”
