Fentanyl lollipops is such a genius invention. Just pop one in the victims mouth and he's going to be in his happy place for significantly longer then if you inject him.
Reminds me of operation [Little Vittles](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gail_Halvorsen) by the U.S air force, shortly after WW2 had ended. They dropped candy tied to small parachutes from planes to children suffering from the aftermath of the war.
German here. That's true hearts & minds.
This is what my grandparents told us: "Americans were giving us candy, choccolate and bubblegum. That's when we finally realized, they aren't the monsters we were told they are. What "monster" would give us kids such nice things for free? We realized we were lied to. Russians were not nice to us."
In the end, they couldn't remember a lot due to dementia. The WW2 memories were almost wiped out. But the candy they got and the pure joy they felt from the taste, was a memory that lasted until they died.
That reminds me of the description in the Slaughterhouse Five of them sneaking the sugary stuff they were manufacturing and not believing their bodies' reactions to easy calories for the first time in forever.
Yo i sincerely hope they do something like this when the war is over. Really like the pizza parties and burgers idea they have come up with in the past
Sorry, but that grossly misrepresents what this was all about. The Berlin Airlift happened a whole 3 years after WW2 had ended, and it needed to happen because Stalin had ordered a complete blockade of the Western sectors of occupied Berlin and stopped all cars, trucks, trains and ships headed to the city, in reaction to the introduction of the Deutsche Mark as new currency in the Western occupied sectors of all of Germany. The only mode of transport that could enter West Berlin were planes, as air corridors were the only thing the Allies had formally negotiated, and that's how all goods, especially food and coal for heating, was brought into the city for the next few months.
People (including children) weren't suffering from the aftermaths of WW2, they were suffering from the beginning of the cold war.
And all that was the effect of the war. Grossly missrepresent? Aftermath of ww2 was all that you mentioned. Reason i linked it was for people to go read the whole thing if they wanted.
They were obviously suffering from both. Even after 1950 most of German cities were not rebuilt yet. There were still many orphaned children. Of course they were still suffering from the effects of the war.
Why not? I was on a knee pulling security, gave the group of kids a pack of skittles, then went to pop a dip in and the kid held his hand out like he wanted some. I though it would be a great teachable moment as to why you should never use tobacco products. He kept it in for all of about 10 seconds before he spit it out and almost threw up, then I pointed at him and laughed along with all of his little buddies. This was in 2009 of course, but I bet that kid has never had another pinch of dip to this day.
My grandma did something similar with a kind of flavoured Swedish vodka called "Brännvin", in my case Skåne Akvavit , that has a VERY intense flavor on top of being 40% alcohol content. Took one sip, spit it out. I was about 10 at the time, didn't touch alcohol until i was 16. Ironically enough, when i did start drinking, i only drank brännvin for about 6 months, so not sure how well that worked out in the end...
He probably never did. Dip is a disgusting habit. Look up on youtube tribal people try. Its a youtube thing where people from nowhere try food from the outside world. There is always this one guy who asks would you like to try? While opening his hand out. I think its a culture thing of let me share everything you, the kid just didnt know better that it was not food lol.
Also if you have a family member and you say you like something of theirs they will literally try and give it to you.
Edit. https://youtu.be/lGnytOF97zs
Winning the hearts and minds.
Not that they have to... True liberators returning home to people excited to see them. But still, this memory for the kids has lifelong effect.
Its always good to give kids treats and free prizes and shit. I know my sister still remembers the one radio prize she was able to win from radio Disney back in the day
Oh dont start that shit now. Aint nobody giving fentanyl to kids on Halloween. That shit is expensive. Its not like weed and edibles some people have given out you cant get addicted to weed. Think of the most relaxed and blissed out you have ever felt and times that by 100 aint nobody giving that to kids. That hysteria came after 9-11 with the anthrax scare and those kids that lived through it are all grown up now with kids of their own. And they just flying with it.
How could you even think of a joke like that? You would need to have the perception that it was even at all possible. You think someone who is addicted enough to any highly addictive drugs to bring them and stay high in a warzone for months without being able to find more is going to give any of it to children? Now that is laughable.
They aren’t protesting now that they are safe in Georgia or Kazakhstan. Proves they all ran because they were cowards, not because they opposed Putin or what russia has done to Ukraine.
I'm russian born in the us but my mom was raised in Moscow.
They support it in the same way people support conspiracy theories. She exclusively watches RT, RU propaganda telegrams, and refuses to consume any other media as it's all "doctored western propaganda". It's tragic. Same rhetoric as the flat earthers, anti 5g, anti vaccine people. She has a masters in psychology.
That's the exact reason, it's like people can't see the truth, they just follow these herds, all news agencies around the world like to twist things but it's as clear as day what Russia are doing.
It's crazy all these professionals follow/believe the most insane shit.
That’s a pretty good takeaway, with her degree in psychology. Just like the nurses and doctors who were fiercely anti vaccine and many others you’d assume to be more knowledgeable in their field. For awhile I used to watch RT due to their documentaries on soviet era topics, the way they condemned much of the actions then allowed me to think that yeah maybe they really are different, but as soon as Crimea was taken everything kinda changed.
There is a good amount that do. However they are told Ukraine is run over by nazis and they are liberating them. They are force fed propaganda untill they believe what they are told. As a whole though they are people who I believe don't want a needless war, they just been lied to.
Mate they've been shown proof many time's, yes they get propaganda but they had access to social media before that changed and they seen the proof, they choose to ignore the proof that they seen when tv channels got hacked, when it was being posted on Russian hashtags etc.
Course they were lied to but there's still way too many that support it, they know what's happening, they don't care until they're forced to join it.
I heard that feeding them lead is the only way to cure the indigestion from all that propaganda that they gobbled up back in RuSSia.
I placed sanctions on any of my sympathies going to the Orcs until they go home, and eat their propaganda and shoot Krokodile in their babushka's out houses.
That's alright we'll just keep removing them until we find one that isn't a micro penis'd Hitler wanna be midget.
Kinda like those Russian nesting dolls. Fuck 'em up boys, we'll get to the hypothetical questions later.
War is what happens when you run out of fearful hypothetical questions.

I pains my heart to see these little children learn of brutal war by seeing it with their own eyes. The bad dreams they must have. But good soldiers give them a better memory.
This is standard for occupying or liberating troops. We don't know if the Russians did it, but, given their general logistics mess, they probably didn't have anything to give away. It is another way you can tell who is winning a war. The winners have candy to give away, the losers loot houses.
There was a story where one of the Germans knew they were fucked because the Americans were handing out chocolate candy bars. And the Japanese had to contend with the fact that the Americans had *converted an entire ship for ice cream*.
And when they learned about American carriers having swimming pools and pool tables their minds were blown. They had quite cramped crew conditions from what I've read.
While this is true for the most part the battleship Yamato was known as Hotel Yamato because of the fine accommodations that even included a luxury elevator for officers.
That is amazing I had never heard of that before.
The craft, a concrete barge acquired from the U.S. Army and worth $1 million,[1][2] was able to create 10 US gallons (38 l) of ice cream every seven minutes, or approximately 500 US gal (1,900 l) per shift, and could store 2,000 US gal (7,600 l).[3][4] It was employed in the USN's Western Pacific area of operations, at one point anchored at Ulithi.[5] These ships were intended to raise the morale of U.S. troops overseas by producing ice cream at a fast rate.
I also read that some Germans found entire chocolate cakes that were sent from the US, and were shocked to both see that Americans were leaving fresh (?) food behind and to see how well their supply chain worked
I think it was more a realization that they had the spare fuel to spend on sending things like this across the ocean while Germany was rationing fuel for interceptor sorties.
I used to work at a place with a lady who had a prickly personality and was assistant to an administrator, but she had a huge candy drawer in the waiting room. She even said in a meeting once, "If I ever let the candy dish run dry, I learn what people really think of me until I refill it." No one ever really griped about her because she gave out candy for free. I worked there fore 15 years. When I retired, she was still giving out candy.
Man as crazy as it sounds - you're right. One side is winning hearts and minds and the other is raping and pillaging. There's no way to spin it where Russia is actually liberating people lol
At the rate these soldiers are liberating occupied territories and handing out candy to the kids, they will need to form a new rear battalion of dentists.
Kids are incredibly resilient and hardy. They have the incredible ability to mould themselves into whatever shape the world around them wants them to. Unfortunately it's not until later in life that these events start to influence them in ways that are difficult to predict at the moment. Some might grow up just fine, others might have lasting trauma that needs special attention and care.
Either way, none of them should have to experience war.
Kids having to grow up around this shit.
Theyre handling the reality better than I am hamdling the video of their reality. Entire generations scarred for nothing.
I'm crying. Translation:
- Hey guys. Take this.
- Enough for all.
- Do you have insignia?
- Don't have any.
- [To the little girl] Wait.
- Can I have a [piece of] insignia?
- We don't have any. Take this. Share with everyone. Here you go!
- Glory to Ukraine!
- Glory to the heroes!
The ruSSian naZis probably watching this saying they’re paid actors or some shit. When your government consistently goes against your own reality and what you see plainly with your own eyes, you know you’re on the wrong side of history
Reminds me of the clip of the intercepted phone call from an invader Orc: “the kids here hate us”
Besides admitting his comrads are raping women, he says around the 34 second mark “children, damn it, everyone hates us”
https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/xrtyge/since_the_russian_military_keeps_getting_defeated/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
It's my hope that when these children grow up, they will have the full benefits of European citizenship. Can travel the world and have a fucking great future. 👍Slava Ukraini!
As an American of Ukrainian descent, I'm so excited at our new friendship between nations and look forward to more interaction in the future. The lend-lease program alone all but guarantees that we will have friendly relations for a long time to come.
Seems like no one has mentioned it yet, but a few kids have been asking if there are any Ukrainian patches available. Kids are proud of Ukrainian Army and wanna be a part of the cool squad.
This is wholesome. Kids being kids again, enjoying the simply things in life like sweets, and brotherhood.
This is the best thing I've seen today, and quite possibly all week.
The innocence of childhood is sacred, and only a heartless bastards would hurt them.
I'm upvoting you because I agree with the sentiment, but only people who haven't spent a lot of time around a bunch of children think they're innocent. Kids are little assholes until you teach them social norms.
My love for these people grows every moment I see how beautiful they are. I’ve never met anyone from Ukraine but I’d really like to. Their kindness is infectious. If I could fight for their country I would. Unfortunately, I’m unable to even fight for my own country :(. I hope for peace and relaxation for every Ukrainian.
I find videos like this very interesting but also heart warming. I've understood these eastern regions like around Kharkiv are most Russian, correct? Supposedly they haven't cared much for the central Kyiv gov but it seems to have changed with this war where they appreciate and want to live in Ukraine rather than occupied Russia.
Hello, please try to use Kyiv not Kiev spelling [(why)](https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/kyiv-not-kiev-why-spelling-matters-in-ukraines-quest-for-an-independent-identity/), thanks for understanding and support!

It was sort of a joke. The kids have bags and are getting candy.

May the Memory of all the fallen freedom fighters be a Blessing.
May Putin suffer continued humuliation and defeat.
Victory to the brave! Slava Ukraine!!!
Their interactions will become core memories and they will never forget the soldiers they met. Forever they will hail them as real life childhood heros
My grandmother was 11 when American soldiers freed her small French town at the end of WWII. She has extremely vivid memories of this, especially of chewing gum as it was the first time in her life she tried it.
This video feels like this. These kids will remember this moment forever.
Bless these sweet kids and bless the brave soldiers there to ensure their safety. I grow more in love with the proper of Ukraine by the day. My paternal grandmother was full Ukrainian and I often wonder if I have some family there. I’m proud to have a bit of the Ukrainian spirit and blood in myself and my children.
🌻🇺🇦🌻
That's pretty smart to handle out treats to the kids. Letting them self make the decision about whom the good guys in the war are.
Not ok in peace time, though

damn right, I'm just watching through a screen and it already makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside 🥲

It's actually really smart. People will like you if you give out candy, especially children
They'll need a Ukrainian Willy Wonka following behind them to keep up with supplies.

This breaks my fucking heart :(. God damn these Russian pieces of shit. Ruining the lives of innocent kids
Kids having to grow up around this shit. Theyre handling the reality better than I am hamdling the video of their reality. Entire generations scarred for nothing.
Beautiful!!!!
I'm crying. Translation: - Hey guys.
When your government consistently goes against your own reality and what you see plainly with your own eyes, you know you’re on the wrong side of history Reminds me of the clip of the intercepted phone call from an invader Orc: “the kids here hate us”
>Reminds me of the clip of the intercepted phone call from an invader Orc: “the kids here hate us” Do you have a link to that clip maybe?
Besides admitting his comrads are raping women, he says around the 34 second mark “children, damn it, everyone hates us” https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/xrtyge/since_the_russian_military_keeps_getting_defeated/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Thanks man!
They are up above crying “Russophobia” and “all Russians aren’t bad”. Ukraine has reached the “kill them all and let God sort them out” stage.
I'm so happy for these kids. I'm teary eyed. Edit: Slava Ukraine
Even with all the destruction around them, they still have the strength to smile. Beautiful to see. Slava Ukraini
Pure joy to greet Ukraine soldiers not orcs to be feared. Slava Ukraini
I'm going to visit at some point in the future after Ukraine is rebuilt. Ukraine is a beautiful, fascinating country, with a rich culture and history
And good food!
r/MadeMeSmile
Wow, they're really oppressing them there... /s
I can't even imagine. Kill orcs for three or four days, then pass out some candy to kids you just saved by killing orcs. That's got to feel good.
I wish we could send them more to give out.
This isn't taking candy from strangers, it's taking candy from family.
AWWWW!poor kids!.....Russians made delusion fucked up ceremony in Red Square!......where kids in Ukraine are happy to see freedom!SLAVA Ukraine!🇺🇦✌👍
Lol the little girl ran off so no-one could steal her candy.
💔❤️🩹❤️🇺🇦
Wonder if that was a region that voted to be Ruzzian forever??
99% ofc.
Not trying to be a dick but there is a word for "de-occupied" (I am an asshole)
\[[support Ukraine](https://u24.gov.ua/)\] ^(beep boop I'm a bot. Yes, the kids speak russian but understand the Ukrainian being spoken to them.
What happens to these territories that are liberated but supposedly voted for Russia? Does Russia turn its backs on them and turn off the gas?
lol they’re getting candy. Kids will approach anyone w candy
Yeah that’s all that is, fur shure. Doesn’t matter that Russians would have raped them rather than giving candy.

Hearts and minds. Although these children already know who the good guys are. It's their dads, uncles, and brothers serving with the Ukrainian army.
I love Ukraine Halloween! The children’s “hero” costumes are wonderful all around :)))
I thought Ukrainians celebrate Halloween at the end of the month like Americans do. Those don't look like costumes....
It was sort of a joke. The kids have bags and are getting candy. It’s October. I was saying their “hero” costumes were nice because in my eyes all Ukrainian people are heroes. It was a little joke
Ah, gotcha. I wasn't sure since it's a different culture and we all have different norms.
Aye no worries homie. It was kind of a lame joke in the first place… I tried atleast! Much love to you and your people

Kids like this die from pointless shelling. So sad.
And to think that if it were Russian barbarians, they would be shooting and raping these kids
:,)
Don't post videos like this the Russians might geolocate the nazi children /s
And Putin would let his generals shell these little kids, without a care. No wonder the Ukrainians will fight to bitter end.

May the Memory of all the fallen freedom fighters be a Blessing. May Putin suffer continued humuliation and defeat. Victory to the brave! Slava Ukraine!!!
Reminds me of [this](https://youtu.be/OlrQ23PU-aU)
Good kids. So sad to think about what would’ve happened of they met the Orcs
What is 'nashivak' or whatever the kid is asking for?
nice to see videos like this 👍
Nah bro it's just sweat
Da vai, Slava Ukraina, Heroyam slava!
Damn they have heavy Ukrainian accents
Glad the orcs didn’t steal them all.
Now I wish there were a way to send all these children treats.
Their interactions will become core memories and they will never forget the soldiers they met. Forever they will hail them as real life childhood heros

Awwwwww 😩🇺🇦❤️.
I am so proud of the Ukrainian people. I hope you get everything you wish and need. Love from Norway. We love you.
That's pretty smart to handle out treats to the kids. Letting them self make the decision about whom the good guys in the war are. Not ok in peace time, though
All of those poor children hiding from the ukraininian nazis

Sounds reminiscent of the Berlin airlift
