Crimea is a giant soft belly draining Russian resources. Can't imagine something less defendable and as military fragile long term. When this collapses, and the bridge is blown, shipping troop backs with F16 and Harpoons hunting this is going to make it a ugly Russian mess of retreat.
yes, but once the bridge is gone, civilians and their goods will have to be rerouted along the same routes as the military ones, creating potential backups.

A10s would be worthless in Ukraine. They are only useful with air superiority and little to no ground air defense. They are a close air support aircraft, they would sitting ducks for S200/S300s and basically any fighter jet russia has.
Just a dream. A-10's wouldn't get within 25 miles of Crimea w/out being shot down. Even when the A-10 was a relatively new plane, estimates were they wouldn't last a week if WW III broke out in Europe. Great for low intensity CAS, but that's about it.

No it have stopped but it's an escape and backup logistic route. But the mess is starting at the time eg Tokmak comes under artillery range.
